Evaluating rural sustainable land use from a system perspective based on the ecosystem service value

Rural sustainable land use(RSLU) is important to China’s implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and the goals of rural revitalization strategy in China. Research on RSLU is key to understanding the impact of human activities on rural sustainability. This paper explored the evaluation method of RSLU from a system perspective based on the ecosystem service value(ESV). Three systems were proposed for consideration when conducting this evaluation method. One was the sustainability of the land system, the other was the sustainability of the ecoeconomic system, and the rest was the sustainability of the land-eco-economy system. Indicators including(1) land use intensity and land system stability,(2) gross domestic production(GDP), ESV, and the eco-economic harmony degree(EEHD), and(3) coupling degree and coupling coordination degree were used to analyze the sustainability of the land, eco-economic, and landeco-economic systems, respectively. An empirical research on Yanhe ecovillage was conducted and the study period extended from 2008 to 2020. The results showed that forest land had always accounted for more than 81.20% of the total area in Yanhe eco-village from 2008 to 2020, which greatly influenced land system stability and restricted economic development. This feature contrasted with RSLU. The total ESV of Yanhe eco-village declined by 1.60×106CNY during 2008–2020 because of land use changes. The EEHD was –0.01, which presented that there was a very slight unharmonious between ecology and economy. The coupling degree and coupling coordination degree showed that the development between the land and ecoeconomic systems exhibited a coupling coordination relationship. The results indicated that ecology and economy in Yanhe eco-village will change significantly in response to land use changes in rural areas, which further revealed the dynamic linkage between human beings and nature. Even with intensive treatment of high-risk neuroblastoma(NB)patients,half of high-risk NB patients still relapse.New therapies targeting the biological characteristics of NB have important clinical value for the personalized treatment of NB.However,the current biological markers for NB are mainly analyzed by tissue biopsy.In recent years,circulating biomarkers of NB based on liquid biopsy have attracted more and more attention.This review summarizes the analytes and methods for liquid biopsy of NB.We focus on the application of liquid biopsy in the diagnosis,prognosis assessment,and monitoring of NB.Finally,we discuss the prospects and challenges of liquid biopsy in NB.

Modelling and analysis of half-/full-bridge hybrid MMC when riding through DC-side pole-to-ground fault

In a modular multilevel converter-based high-voltage direct current(MMC-HVDC)system,the dc fault ride through(FRT)control is an effective way to deal with a dc-side pole-to-ground(PTG)fault.However,the setting of FRT duration brings potential hazards:1)MMC will face the risk of“secondary short circuit”if FRT duration is short;2)ac grid may have power angle stability issue if FRT duration is long.To avoid these hazards and provide theoretical guidance for the FRT duration setting,transient behaviour of dc fault current during the PTG FRT stage is explored in this work.Firstly,challenges of the transient analysis are summarised as non-linearity and high-order issues.In light of this,numerical and Hilbert-Huang Transformation methods are introduced to evaluate the non-linearity issue.It is found that the path of MMC from dc current to dc internal voltage is weakly non-linear.Hence,a linear transient model is built to analyse the dc fault current.By participation factor analysis,the order of the proposed model is further reduced,so that an analytical expression of the dc fault current is approximately derived.Based on the analytical expression,regularities and mechanism of dc fault current are fully revealed.Application of the transient analysis to the setting of FRT duration is elaborated in detail.Finally,the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation verifies the validity of the proposed model and analytical expression.

Analysis on Circulating Current and Split Capacitor Voltage Balance for Modular Multilevel Converter Based Three-phase Four-wire Split Capacitor DSTATCOM

We propose a modular multilevel converter(MMC)based three-phase four-wire(3P4W)split capacitor distribution static synchronous compensator(DSTATCOM),aiming at compensating unbalanced and reactive load currents.Due to the zero-sequence current compensation,the circulating current char-acteristics of 3P4W MMC-DSTATCOM are different from conventional MMCs.Moreover,the distinct working principle of IMMC would affect the features of split capacitor voltage.The decoupled positive-,negative-and zero-sequence second-order and DC components of the circulating current are deduced explicitly.Two proportional-integral controllers with dual dq transformation are employed to suppress the positive-and negative-sequence components of second-order circulating current,while quasi proportional-resonance controller is designed to eliminate the zero-sequence component.Besides,the phenomenon of the unbalanced split capacitor voltages is revealed,and fast-tracking balancing method by controlling zero-sequence current flowing through the split capacitors is provided.Digital simulation results verify the accuracy of the analysis and the feasibility of the suppression methods.

key components of the ribosome and the most abundant RNA species,the rRNAs are modified during ribosome formation.N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is a conserved RNA modification occurring on different RNA species including rRNAs.Recently,it has been reported that ZCCHC4 and METTL5 are methyltransferases that mediate m^(6)A modification of human 28S and 18S rRNA,respectively.The newly discovered biological functions of the two methyltransferases include regulation of mRNA translation,cell proliferation,cell differentiation,stress response,and other biological processes.Both of them,especially METTL5,have been proved to be associated with a variety of diseases such as intellectual disability,cancer,congenital dysplasia and have potential clinical application as biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

Effects of strengthening prospective nursing practice on sleep quality,anxiety,and depression of awake patients in intensive care unit

BACKGROUND The intensive care unit(ICU)is a specialized hospital department.Awake patients in the ICU frequently encounter adverse psychological states,such as anxiety and fear,often accompanied by poor sleep quality.This situation has garnered significant attention within the medical community.AIM To investigate the impact of prospective nursing intervention strategies on the sleep quality and negative emotional state of conscious ICU patients.METHODS One hundred and twenty ICU awake patients admitted to our hospital were selected and randomly divided into control(n=60)and observation(n=60)groups.Patients in the control group were cared for using the conventional nursing model,while patients in the observation group were cared for using the prospective nursing model.Sleep improvement was assessed using the International Standardized Sleep Efficiency Formula and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI).The PSQI,Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item(GAD-7)scale,Self-Depression Scale(SDS),and satisfaction before and after treatment were used to assess the negative emotional states of patients under the two care models.RESULTS Patient satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher than in the control group.The GAD-7 and SDS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the total effective rate of sleep improvement in the observation group was significantly higher than in the control group.After treatment,the PSQI scores of the two groups significantly decreased(Plinical application.

A standard form of incompressible surfaces in 3-dimensional handlebodies

Applying the Morse theory,we give a standard form for a class of surfaces which includes all the properly embedded incompressible surfaces in 3-dimensional handlebodies.We also give a necessary and sufficient condition to determine the incompressibility of such surfaces placed in our standard form.Our algorithm is practical.Several examples are given to test the algorithm.

AMaximum-Principle-Preserving Finite Volume Scheme for Diffusion Problems on Distorted Meshes

In this paper,we propose an approach for constructing conservative and maximum-principle-preserving finite volume schemes by using the method of undetermined coefficients,which depend nonlinearly on the linear non-conservative onesided fluxes.In order to facilitate the derivation of expressions of these undetermined coefficients,we explicitly provide a simple constriction condition with a scaling parameter.Such constriction conditions can ensure the final schemes are exact for linear solution problems and may induce various schemes by choosing different values for the parameter.In particular,when this parameter is taken to be 0,the nonlinear terms in our scheme degenerate to a harmonic average combination of the discrete linear fluxes,which has often been used in a variety of maximum-principle-preserving finite volume schemes.Thus our method of determining the coefficients of the nonlinear terms is more general.In addition,we prove the convergence of the proposed schemes by using a compactness technique.Numerical results demonstrate that our schemes can preserve the conservation property,satisfy the discrete maximum principle,possess a second-order accuracy,be exact for linear solution problems,and be available for anisotropic problems on distorted meshes.

Hydrofluoride is an industry-preferred fluoride source,and finds extensively application to manufacture diverse fluoro chemicals.The Et3N-3HF complex is a liquid HF with improve safety.In this work,we report electrochemical synthesis of a series of sulfonyl fluoride with Et3N-3HF as fluoride source.The sulfinic salt is a smell-less,non-volatile,and air-stable sulfur source in this reaction.With the combination of Et3N-3HF and aryl/alkyl sulfinic salt,the sulfonyl fluorides are achieved without the use of external oxidant.In addition,we demonstrate further advantage in a tandem reaction involving Pd-catalyzed C—S cross-coupling and formation of S—F bond.A variety of functional groups including amino acids,heterocycles,halides are well tolerated.
