Hybrid electromechanical properties of hetero-doped and homogeneously bonded dual-mode pressure sensor for indoor body area network node

Pressure sensors are considerably important for continuous monitoring of human movement and the surrounding environment to construct a caregiving system for the elderly living *** challenge for pressure sensors that still remains is combining self-driven,comfort,and ***,an all-in-one conformal pressure sensor(ACPS) based on a homogeneous integrated triboelectric-piezoelectric hybrid sensor is *** ACPS has dual-mode sensing properties due to coupling triboelectrification and piezoelectric effect ensuring a stable response to various external ***-coated glass microspheres and polyacrylonitrile were uniformly filleted into the silicone rubber substrate using a hetero-doping method to create a stretchable electrode layer with flexible conformal characteristics and a piezoelectric layer with excellent piezoelectric properties,***,the triboelectric layer was fabricated using the same silicone rubber,allowing ACPS to be homogeneously bonded into an all-in-one structure with reliable *** allowed various functional layers to have outstanding interface characteristics and thus improve the electrical transmission *** developed ACPS had outstanding sensitivity(1.04 V/104Pa),high linearity(about 0.984),a wide measurement range(10–700 k Pa),and can accurately and continuously distinguish multiple ***,using a homemade signal processing circuit,ACPSs can be deployed in the human body and the room as indoor body area network *** successfully applied to the remote tracking of daily dynamic home life and the remote operation of small electrical equipment,these ACPSs can achieve real-time caregiving for the elderly living *** an application area desperately needed by society,this study envisions a caregiving system for the elderly living alone without violating personal privacy.

Non-destructive electroluminescence inspection for leD epitaxial wafers based on soft single-contact operation

Non-destructive and accurate inspection of gallium nitride light-emitting diode(Ga N-leD)epitaxial wafers is important to Ga N-leD ***,the conventional electroluminescence inspection,the photoluminescence inspection,and the automated optical inspection cannot fulfill the complex technical *** this work,an inspection method and an operation system based on soft single-contact operation,namely,single-contact electroluminescence(SC-EL)inspection,are *** key component of the SC-EL inspection system is a soft conductive probe with an optical fiber inside,and an AC voltage(70Vpp,100 k Hz)is applied between the probe and the ITO electrode under the leD epitaxial *** proposed SC-EL inspection can measure both the electrical and optical parameters of the leD epitaxial wafer at the same time,while not causing mechanical damage to the leD epitaxial ***,it is demonstrated that the SC-EL inspection has a higher electroluminescence wavelength accuracy than photoluminescence *** results show that the non-uniformity of SC-EL inspection is 444.64%,which is much lower than that of photoluminescence *** addition,the obtained electrical parameters from SC-EL can reflect the reverse leakage current(Is)level of the leD epitaxial *** proposed SC-EL inspection can ensure high inspection accuracy without causing damage to the leD epitaxial wafer,which holds promising application in leD technology.

Angular distribution of products in multinucleon transfer reactions

A method based on the dinuclear system(DNS)is proposed to describe the angular distribution of products in multinucleon transfer(MNT)*** considering fluctuation effects,the angular distributions of reactions involving^(136)Xe+^(208)Pb,^(136)Xe+^(209)Bi,^(86)Kr+^(166)Er,^(84)Kr+^(209)Bi,and^(84)Kr+^(208)Pb are examined,demonstrating good agreement with experimental ***,the double differential cross-sections(dσ^(2)/dl_(i)dΘand dσ^(2)/dZdΘ)of reactions^(136)Xe+^(208)Pb and^(136)Xe+^(209)Bi are analyzed to explore the mechanism of angular distribution in MNT ***,the optimal angles for detecting N=126 isotopes are determined via an analysis on the influence of proton and neutron numbers of the projectiles on the angular distribution of the N=126 isotopic *** results of this study can provide valuable insights for experimental detection.

A Plasma Membrane Polarity Sensor Harnessing Conjoined Twisted Intramolecular Charge Transfer Modulation and Charge Number Control Strategy

Polarity is a critical microenvironmental factor of the plasma membrane,which can offer valuable insights into various biological ***,we proposed a novel strategy for the construction of fluorescent agents to measure plasma membrane polarity by conjoining twisted intramolecular charge transfer(TICT)modulation and charge number *** is shown that compounds with a stronger TICT tendency are more sensitive to polarity shifts due to the number of dialkylated amino groups present(from 1 to 3),and the molecules with two or more charged centers remain in the plasma ***,we developed two fluorescent agents with high polarity sensitivity,excellent turn-on ratios,and superior ability,to target the plasma *** the wash-free fluorescence imaging and fluorescence lifetime tests,our designed agent could detect plasma membrane polarity with high precision,allowing effective distinction between cancer cells and normal cells based on their differences in plasma membrane ***,both fluorescence and fluorescence lifetime changes of the plasma membrane in the ferroptosis model established by Sorafenib confirmed an increase in plasma membrane polarity during cell ferroptosis.

Activation of stress-response genes by retrograde signaling-mediated destabilization of nuclear importin IMPα-9 and its interactor TPR2

Stress-induced retrograde signal transmission from the plastids to the nucleus has long puzzled plant *** address this,we performed a suppressor screen of the ceh1 mutant,which contains elevated 2-C-methyl-d-erythritol-2,4-cyclopyrophosphate(MEcPP)levels,and identified the gain-of-function mutant impα-9,which shows reversed dwarfism and suppressed expression of stress-response genes in the ceh1 background despite heightened *** genetic and biochemical analyses established that the accumulation of MEcPP initiates an upsurge in Arabidopsis SKP1-like 1(ASK1)abundance,a pivotal component in the proteasome degradation *** increase in ASK1 prompts the degradation of IMPα-***,we uncovered a protein-protein interaction between IMPα-9 and TPR2,a transcriptional co-suppressor and found that a reduction in IMPα-9 levels coincides with a decrease in TPR2 ***,the interaction between IMPα-9 and TPR2 was disrupted in impα-9 mutants,highlighting the critical role of a single amino acid alteration in maintaining their *** of their interaction results in the reversal of MEcPP-associated *** immunoprecipitation coupled with sequencing analyses revealed that TPR2 binds globally to stress-response genes and suggested that IMPα-9 associates with the *** function together to suppress the expression of stress-response genes under normal conditions,but this suppression is alleviated in response to stress through the degradation of the suppressing *** biological relevance of our discoveries was validated under high light stress,marked by MEcPP accumulation,elevated ASK1 levels,IMPα-9 degredation,reduced TPR2 abundance,and subsequent activation of a network of stress-response *** summary,our study collectively unveils fresh insights into plant adaptive mechanisms,highlighting intricate interactions among retrograde signaling,the proteasome,and nuclear transport machinery.

In-situ SEM characterization of fracture mechanism of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn titanium matrix composites after electroshocking treatment

In this article,in-situ scanning electron microscope characterization of the tensile properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn titanium matrix composite(TMC)was conducted before and after electroshocking treatment(EST).After EST,the tensile strength increased by 113.2 *** effect of EST on the tensile strength and fracture behavior of TiB was investigated using in-situ characterization of the fracture morphology and crack propagation path of the matrix and *** EST,TiB fracture introduced cracks that extended into the matrix,resulting in material *** EST,the refined TiB improved the bearing capacity of the matrix,thereby improving TMC ***,after EST,the cracks were introduced into the matrix,and resulting the fracture of matrix *** an increase in the external load,cracks in the matrix were observed to propagate to TiB,and the refined TiB was fractured,detached,and pulled out,resulting in the formation of *** the propagation path of the main crack after EST showed that the deflection angle of the main crack *** micro structure of the fracture surface indicated that the fracture of the matrix was plastic,whereas that of TiB was *** EST,the size and area of the dimples increased,confirming the increase in *** results revealed that the comprehensive mechanical properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn improved after ***,EST is an efficient method for tailoring the micro structures and mechanical properties of TMCs.

This paper proposes a new upper-limb exoskeleton to reduce worker physical *** proposed design is based on a novel PRRRP(P-Prismatic;R-Revolute)kinematic chain with 5 passive Degrees of Freedom(DoF).Utilizing a magnetic spring,the proposed mechanism includes a specially designed locking mechanism that maintains any desired task *** proposed exoskeleton incorporates a balancing mechanism to alleviate discomfort and spinal torsional effects also helping in limb weight *** paper reports specific models and simulations to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed *** experimental characterization is performed to validate the performance of the mechanism in terms of forces and physical strain during a specific application consisting of ceiling-surface drilling *** obtained results preliminarily validate the engineering feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed exoskeleton in the intended operation task thereby requiring the user to exert significantly less force than when not wearing it.

Ferroptosis is a non-apoptotic form of regulated cell death characterized by the lethal accumulation of iron-dependent membranelocalized lipid *** acts as an innate tumor suppressor mechanism and participates in the biological processes of ***,mesenchymal and dedifferentiated cancer cells,which are usually resistant to apoptosis and traditional therapies,are exquisitely vulnerable to ferroptosis,further underscoring its potential as a treatment approach for cancers,especially for refractory ***,the impact of ferroptosis on cancer extends beyond its direct cytotoxic effect on tumor *** induction not only inhibits cancer but also promotes cancer development due to its potential negative impact on anticancer ***,a comprehensive understanding of the role of ferroptosis in cancer is crucial for the successful translation of ferroptosis therapy from the laboratory to clinical *** this review,we provide an overview of the recent advancements in understanding ferroptosis in cancer,covering molecular mechanisms,biological functions,regulatory pathways,and interactions with the tumor *** also summarize the potential applications of ferroptosis induction in immunotherapy,radiotherapy,and systemic therapy,as well as ferroptosis inhibition for cancer treatment in various *** finally discuss ferroptosis markers,the current challenges and future directions of ferroptosis in the treatment of cancer.

Background:Post–cardiac arrest syndrome involves systemic inflammation,which causes subsequent neurological *** investigated the influence of targeted temperature management(TTM)therapy in patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest(OHCA)after return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC)by observing the changes in circulating CD14^(+)monocytes and the expression of human leukocyte antigen D–related(HLA-DR)and programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)in CD14^(+)***:Adult patients admitted to the emergency department of Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital after OHCA between January 2017 and March 2018 were included in this *** control subjects,10 patients with OHCA,and 37 patients with OHCA who received 72 hours of TTM therapy were *** blood samples of patients in the OHCA and TTM groups were collected on Days 1 and 3(D1 and D3)after ROSC and evaluated for HLA-DR and PD-L1 expression on CD14^(+)monocytes using flow ***:Compared with control subjects,the percentage of circulating CD14^(+)monocytes,HLA-DR+/CD14^(+)monocyte ratios,and mean fluorescence intensity were significantly decreased in patients with *** ROSC,HLA-DR expression in CD14^(+)monocytes in the TTM group was lower than that in patients with ***,there were no significant differences in the percentage of PD-L1+/CD14^(+)monocytes or the mean fluorescence intensity between patients with OHCA and healthy ***:After ROSC,circulating CD14^(+)monocytes and HLA-DR+/CD14^(+)monocyte ratios decreased significantly in patients with *** leukocyte antigen D–related expression in CD14^(+)monocytes was lower in patients treated with TTM.
