Developing efficient and durable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts holds great promise for green hydrogen production via seawater electrolysis,but remains a ***,we report a Co-doped Ni_(3)s_(2) nanosheet array on Ni foam(Co-Ni_(3)s_(2)/NF)as a high-efficiency OER electrocatalyst for *** alkaline conditions,Co-Ni_(3)s_(2)/NF requires an overpotential of only 368 mV to drive 100 mA·cm^(–2),superior to Ni_(3)s_(2)/NF(385 mV).Besides,it exhibits at least 50-h continuous electrolysis.

Neddylation is necessary for activation of Cullin-RING ligases(CRLs),which degrade various immune regulatory *** recent study showed that while depletion of neddylation E2-E3 pair Ube2f-sag in regulatory T(T_(reg))cells had no obvious phenotype,the same depletion of either Ube2m or Rbx1 caused inflammation disorders with different *** these E2s or E3s compensate each other in functional regulations of T_(reg)cells is,however,previously *** this report,we generated Foxp3^(Cre);Ube2m^(fl/fl);Ube2f^(fl/fl)or Foxp3^(Cre);Rbx1^(fl/fl);sag^(fl/fl)double-null mice by simultaneous deletion of both neddylation E2s or E3s in T_(reg)cells,***,Ube2m&Ube2f double-null mice developed much severe autoimmune phenotypes than did Ube2m-null mice,indicating that Ube2m markedly compensates Ube2f in T_(reg)*** minor worsened autoimmune phenotypes seen at the very early stage in Rbx1&sag double-null than Rbx1-null mice is likely due to already severe phenotypes of the later,indicating a minor compensation of Rbx1 for *** RNA profiling-based analyses revealed that up-and down-regulations of few signaling pathways in T_(reg)cells are associated with the severity of autoimmune ***,severer inflammation phenotypes seen in mice with double E3-null than with double E2-null T_(reg)cells indicate a neddylation-independent mechanism of 2 E3s,also known to serve as the RING component of CRLs in regulation of T_(reg)cell fitness.

The development of highly active,stable and inexpensive electrocatalysts for hydrogen production by defects and morphology engineering remains a great ***,s vacancies-rich Ni_(3)s_(2)@Cu_(2)s nan-otube heterojunction arrays were in-situ grown on copper foam(V_(s)-Ni_(3)s_(2)@V_(s)-Cu_(2)s NHAs/CF)for efficient electrocatalytic overall water *** the merits of nanotube arrays and efficient electronic mod-ulation drived by the OD vacancy defect and 2D heterojunction defect,the resultant V_(s)-Ni_(3)s_(2)@V_(s)-Cu_(2)s NHAs/CF electrocatalyst exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity with a low overpotential of 47 mV for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)at 10 mA cm^(-2) current density,and 263 mV for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)at 50 mA cm^(-2) current density,as well as a cell voltage of 1.48 V at 10 mA cm^(-2).Moreover,the nanotube heterojunction arrays endows V_(s)-Ni_(3)s_(2)@V_(s)-Cu_(2)s NHAs/CF with outstanding stability in long-term catalytic processes,as confirmed by the continuous chronopotentiom-etry tests at current densities of 10 mA cm^(-2) for 100 h.

Applications of lithium-sulfur(Li-s)batteries are still limited by the sluggish conversion kinetics from polysulfide to Li_(2)*** various single-atom catalysts are available for improving the conversion kinetics,the sulfur redox kinetics for Li-s batteries is still not ***,in this work,a catalyst with dual-single-atom Pt-Co embedded in N-doped carbon nanotubes(Pt&Co@NCNT)was proposed by the atomic layer deposition method to suppress the shuttle effect and synergistically improve the interconversion kinetics from polysulfides to Li_(2)*** X-ray absorption near edge curves indicated the reversible conversion of Li_(2)sx on the s/Pt&Co@NCNT ***,density functional theory demonstrated that the Pt&Co@NCNT promoted the free energy of the phase transition of sulfur species and reduced the oxidative decomposition energy of Li_(2)*** a result,the batteries assembled with s/Pt&Co@NCNT electrodes exhibited a high capacity retention of 80%at 100 cycles at a current density of 1.3 mA cm^(−2)(s loading:2.5 mg cm^(−2)).More importantly,an excellent rate performance was achieved with a high capacity of 822.1 mAh g^(−1) at a high current density of 12.7 mA cm^(−2).This work opens a new direction to boost the sulfur redox kinetics for ultrafast Li-s batteries.

A Unified Motion Generation Approach for Quadruped L-s Walk and Trot Gaits Based on Linear Model Predictive Control

The goal of this paper is to develop a unified online motion generation scheme for quadruped lateral-sequence walk and trot gaits based on a linear model predictive control ***,the dynamics of the linear pendulum model is formulated over a predictive horizon by dimensional *** gait pattern conversion,the lateral-sequence walk and trot gaits of the quadruped can be regarded as unified biped gaits,allowing the dynamics of the linear inverted pendulum model to serve quadruped motion *** addition,a simple linearization of the center of pressure constraints for these quadruped gaits is developed for linear model predictive control ***,the motion generation problem can be solved online by quadratic programming with foothold *** is demonstrated that the proposed unified scheme can generate stable locomotion online for quadruped lateral-sequence walk and trot gaits,both in simulation and on *** results show significant performance improvements compared to previous ***,the results also suggest the linearly simplified scheme has the ability to robustness against unexpected disturbances.

Laterality is a crucial physiological process intricately linked to the cilium-centrosome complex during embryo *** in the process can result in severe organ ***-coil domain containing 141(CCDC141)has been previously known as a centrosome-related gene,but its role in left-right(LR)asymmetry has not been *** this study,we utilize the zebrafish model and human exome analysis to elucidate the function of ccdc141 in laterality *** knockdown of ccdc141 in zebrafish disrupts early LR signaling pathways,cilia function,and Kupffer's vesicle *** ccdc141-knockdown embryos exhibiting aberrant LR patterns,ccdc141-null mutants show no apparent abnormality,suggesting a genetic compensation response *** parallel,we observe a marked reduction inα-tubulin acetylation levels in the ccdc141 *** treatment with histone deacetylase(HDAC)inhibitors,particularly the HDAC6 inhibitor,rescues the ccdc141 crispant ***,exome analysis of 70 patients with laterality defects reveals an increased burden of CCDC141 mutations,with in-vivo studies verifying the pathogenicity of the patient mutation *** findings highlight the critical role of ccdc141 in ciliogenesis and demonstrate that CCDC141 mutations lead to abnormal LR patterns,identifying it as a candidate gene for laterality defects.

The cubic s/N co-doped TiO_(2)(TNsx,x is the calcination temperature)photocatalysts with rich oxygen vacancies were obtained by high temperature calcination of sulfur powder and titanium-based MOFs NH_(2)-MIL-125 for the photocatalytic removal of gaseous formaldehyde(a volatile organic compound).Among the obtained catalysts,the presence of oxygen vacancies restricted photogenerated electron and holes recombination.98.00%removal of gaseous formaldehyde in 150 min could be achieved over TNs600 by xenon *** removal efficiency for formaldehyde was well retained for five cycle *** results from PL,TRPL and EIs revealed that TNs600 had the best separation efficiency of photogenerated electrons and holes,and the enhanced charge separation led to a significant increase in photocatalytic *** photocatalytic oxidation mechanism indicated that the ^(•)OH and ^(•)O_(2)−radicals were mainly involved in the efficient elimination of gaseous formaldehyde and were able to mineralize formaldehyde to H_(2)O and CO_(2).

A universal performance-enhancing method for Li-s batteries:the cathode material of Li_(2)s@Li_(2)s_(2)@Li_(2)s_(6) double-shell structure

Lithium sulfide(Li_(2)s)as a cathode material for lithium-sulfur(Li-s)batteries,one of the most promising advanced batteries in the future,has received tremendous attention in the past ***,developing the practical Li_(2)s cathode confronts challenges of low conductivity for Li-ions and electrons,high sensitivity to environmental moisture,big overpotential barrier to electrochemical activation,and poor cyclability due to the shuttle effect of intermediate *** article herein reports a simple and effective strategy for making Li_(2)s@Li_(2)s_(2)@Li_(2)s_(6) double-shelled microparticles,which can significantly mitigate these *** are synthesized by dissolving Li2s together with s in dimethoxyethane,then drying off the solvent,and finally calcining the collected *** with pure Li_(2)s,such a double-shell material presents a 26.7% improvement in cycling capacity,0.5 V lower in activation overpotential,and prolonged tolerance in the ambient *** density functional theory calculation shows that the performance enhancement lies in the higher stability of Li2s6in contact with moisture and some autocatalytic effect of Li_(2)s_(2)@Li_(2)s_(6).such a double-shell structure becomes a universal performanceenhancing approach when being combined with other means,such as cathodes composited with catalytic Mos_(2),separators modified with selenium-doped sulfurized-polyacrylonitrile/montmorillonite,electrolytes containing fluorenone additive,and Li anodes coated with a layer of Li_(3)*** corresponding capacity retention shows up to 80%improvement compared with pure Li_(2)s.
