Fluid jet polishing(FJP)is a versatile polishing process that has many advantages compared to other polishing ***-off distance(SOD)is one of the key parameters in flu id jet polishi ***,relatively little research work has been carried out to investigate its effect of SOD on material removal characteristics and surface generation in *** this paper,a systematic investigation of the effect of SOD on the tool influence function and surface topography in FJP was *** were designed for FJP two kinds of materials corresponding to ductile and brittle *** are nickel copper(NiCu)alloy and BK7 optical glass,*** this study,the SOD was varied from 2 to 35 *** and discussions were made on its effect on the shape of TIF,material removal rate,and surface *** is interesting to note that the TIF shape becomes a Gaussian-like shape with large SOD both on NiCu and BK7,which provides a novel way to optimize the TIF in *** variation of the material removal rate and surface roughness versus SOD on NiCu and BK7 were also determined from the experimental ***,the surface topography of NiCu and BK7 were characterized from the results measured from the white light interferometer and scan electron *** outcome of the study provides a better understanding of the material removal characteristics and surface generation mechanism in FJP.

The demand for optical glass has been rapidly increasing in various industries,where an ultra-smooth surface and form accuracy are critical for the functional elements of the *** meet the high surface-quality requirements,a polishing process is usually adopted to finish the optical glass surface to ensure an ultra-smooth surface and eliminate sub-surface ***,current ultra-precision polishing processes normally polish workpieces individually,leading to a low production efficiency and high polishing *** mass-finishing methods cannot be used for optical ***,magnetic-field-assisted batch polishing(MABP)was proposed in this study to overcome this research gap and provide an efficient and cost-effective method for industrial use.A series of polishing experiments were conducted on typical optical components under different polishing parameters to evaluate the polishing performance of MABP on optical *** results demonstrated that MABP is an efficient method to simultaneously polish multiple lenses while achieving a surface roughness,indicated by the arithmetic mean height(Sa),of 0.7 nm and maintained a sub-micrometer surface form for all the *** addition,no apparent sub-surface damage was observed,indicating the significant potential for the high-quality rapid polishing of optical *** proposed method is highly competitive compared to the current optical polishing methods,which has the potential to revolutionize the polishing process for small optics.

In this paper,we propose a novel adjustable multiple cross-hexagonal search(AMCHS) algorithm for fast block motion estimation. It employs adjustable multiple cross search patterns(AMCSP) in the first step and then uses half-way-skip and half-way-stop technique to determine whether to employ two hexagonal search patterns(HSPs) subsequently. The AMCSP can be used to find small motion vectors efficiently while the HSPs can be used to find large ones accurately to ensure prediction quality. Simulation results showed that our proposed AMCHS achieves faster search speed,and provides better distortion performance than other popular fast search algorithms,such as CDS and CDHS.

AIM:To determine whether the microRNA-27b-3p(miR-27b-3p)/NF-E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)pathway plays a role in human retinal pigment epithelial(hRPE)cell response to high glucose,how miR-27b-3p and Nrf2 expression are regulated,and whether this pathway could be specifically ***:hRPE cells were cultured in normal glucose or high glucose for 1,3,or 6d before measuring cellular proliferation rates using cell counting kit-8 and reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels using a dihydroethidium ***-27b-3p,Nrf2,NAD(P)H quinone oxidoreductase 1(NQO1)and heme oxygenase-1(ho-1)mRNA and protein levels were analyzed using reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)and immunocytofluorescence(ICF),*** blot analyses were performed to determine nuclear and total Nrf2 protein ***2,NQO1,and ho-1 expression levels by RT-qPCR,ICF,or Western blot were further tested after miR-27b-3p overexpression or inhibitor lentiviral ***,the expression level of those target genes was analyzed after treating hRPE cells with ***:Persistent exposure to high glucose gradually suppressed hRPE Nrf2,NQO1,and ho-1 mRNA and protein levels and increased miR-27b-3p mRNA *** glucose also promoted ROS release and inhibited cellular ***2,NQO1,and ho-1 mRNA levels decreased after miR-27b-3p overexpression and,conversely,both mRNA and protein levels increased after expressing a miR-27b-3p *** treating hRPE cells exposed to high glucose with pyridoxamine,ROS levels tended to decreased,proliferation rate increased,Nrf2,NQO1,and ho-1 mRNA and protein levels were upregulated,and miR-27b-3p mRNA levels were ***:Nrf2 is a downstream target of ***,the miR-27b-3p inhibitor pyridoxamine can alleviate high glucose injury by regulating the miR-27b-3p/Nrf2 axis.
