Adaptation of ant supercolony behavior to solve route assignment problem in integers

Purpose-Until now,the algorithms used to compute an equilibrate route assignment do not return an integer *** disagreement constitutes a non-negligible *** fact,it is shown in the literature that a fractional solution is not a good approximation of the integer *** purpose of this paper is to find an integer route ***/methodology/approach-The static route assignment problem is modeled as an asymmetric network congestion ***,an algorithm inspired from ant supercolony behavior is constructed,in order to compute an approximation of the Pure Nash Equilibrium(PNE)of the considered *** variants of the algorithm,which differ by their initializing steps and/or the kind of the provided algorithm information,are ***-An evaluation of these variants over different networks is conduced and the obtained results are ***,the adaptation of ant supercolony behavior to solve the problem under consideration shows interesting results,since most of the algorithm’s variants returned high-quality approximation of PNE in more than 91 percent of the treated ***/value-The asymmetric network congestion game is used to model route assignment *** algorithm with several variants inspired from ant supercolony behavior is *** the classical ant colony algorithms where there is one nest,herein,several nests are *** deposit pheromone of an ant from a given nest is useful for the ants of the other nests.

Diversity and Antimicrobial Activity of Cultivable Halophilic Archaea from Three Algerian Sites

Hypersaline environments are colonized by communities of microorganisms, which developed adaptations from halotolerant to extreme halophilic lifestyles. Twenty-four halophilic archaeal strains were isolated from three Algerian hypersaline sites, including the solar salterns in Ichekaben and two natural salt lakes at Ouargla and Oran. Almost full-length 16S rRNA genes were amplified using archaeal-specific primers, sequenced and phylogenetically analyzed. Three isolates from the salt lake of Ouargla were affiliated to Halorubrum sp., while six isolates from Ichekaben were Natrinema sp.. The remaining strains belonged to the genus Haloarcula, which was identified in the three Algerian sites. A phylogenetic tree of Haloarcula sp. including the two copies of the 16S rRNA gene, showed that two strains group with Haloarcula hispanica, while the other 13 cluster with OHF-1/OHF-2 isolated from French commercial salt. Both Natrinema sp. and Haloarcula sp. were persistent at Ichekaben. For the six Natrinema sp. isolates, this observation correlates with their capacity to produce antimicrobial compounds, and a DNA fragment closely related to the halocin C8 gene was amplified for five strains.

Impacts of Date Palm Seeds （Phoenix dactyliferous L.） on Growth Indices and Nutrient Utilization of Common Carp Cyprinus carpio L,

This study was carried out to study the effect of adding different levels of date palm seed （Phoentix dactyliJProus） powder in the diet of common carp （Cyprinus carpio） at fish laboratory of Animal Production Department, College of Agricultural Sciences, Sulaimani University, Sulaimani, Iraq. The actual experimental feeding trials were conducted for 70 d and the adaptation period for 21 d. A total of 81 common carp fingerlings weighted 62 ± 2 g were divided into three experimental groups. The control treatment T1 was with 0 g date palm seed, T2 with 2.5 g date palm seed per kg diet and T3 with 5 g date palm seed per kg diet. Each treatment was in three replicates in which three common carp fingerlings were stocked in each aquarium which fed the experimental diets twice daily. The results indicated that weight gain （WG） and specific growth rate （SGR） in the third treatment （T3） group were significantly higher than those of fish fed control diets. T2 consumed more diet than other treatments with 306.940 g with higher feed conversion ratio （FCR）; T3 was higher significantly in food efficiency. No significant （P 〈 0.05） differences obtained from consumed protein while the protein efficiency ratio was significantly higher in T3 with 319.323. Control was higher significantly in flesh weight without viscera with the third treatment; in flesh weight without head and viscera each the control and the second treatment was significantly higher than the third treatment. As a conclusion, the date palm seeds powder have a positive effect on growth performance of common carp.
