During cell differentiation,growth,and development,cells can respond to extracellular stimuli through communication ***(Panx)family and connexin(Cx)family are two important types of channel-forming *** family contains three members(Panx1-3)and is expressed widely in bone,cartilage and *** there is no sequence homology between Panx family and Cx family,they exhibit similar configurations and *** to Cxs,the key roles of Panxs in the maintenance of physiological functions of the musculoskeletal system and disease progression were gradually revealed ***,we seek to elucidate the structure of Panxs and their roles in regulating processes such as osteogenesis,chondrogenesis,and muscle *** also focus on the comparison between Cx and *** a new key target,Panxs expression imbalance and dysfunction in muscle and the therapeutic potentials of Panxs in joint diseases are also discussed.

Three types of steels were designed on the basis of GX40CrNiSi25-12 austenitic heat resistant steel by adding different Mn contents(2wt.%,6wt.%,and 12wt.%).Thermodynamic calculation,microstructure characterization and mechanical property tests were conducted to investigate the effect of Mn addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the austenitic heat resistant *** show that the matrix structure in all the three types of steels at room temperature is completely *** NbC and M_(23)C_(6)precipitate at grain boundaries of austenite *** the increase of Mn content,the number of carbides increases and their distribution becomes more *** the Mn content increases from 1.99%to 12.06%,the ultimate tensile strength,yield strength and elongation increase by 14.6%,8.0%and 46.3%,*** improvement of the mechanical properties of austenitic steels can be explained by utilizing classic theories of alloy strengthening,including solid solution strengthening,precipitation strengthening,and grain *** increase in alloy strength can be attributed to solid solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening caused by the addition of *** improvement of the plasticity of austenitic steels can be explained from two aspects:grain refinement and homogenization of precipitated phases.

The damage evolution process of non-penetrating cracks often causes some unexpected engineering *** specimens containing non-penetrating crack(s)are used to study the damage evolution and characteristics under cyclic *** results show that under cyclic loading,the relationship between the number of non-penetrating crack(s)and the characteristic parameters(cyclic number,peak stress,peak strain,failure stress,and failure strain)of the pre-cracked specimens can be represented by a decreasing linear *** damage evolution equation is fitted by calibrating the accumulative plastic strain for each cycle,and the damage constitutive equation is proposed by the concept of effective ***,non-penetrating cracks are more likely to cause uneven stress distribution,damage accumulation,and local failure of *** local failure can change the stress distribution and relieve the inhibition of non-penetrating crack extension and eventually cause a dramatic destruction of the ***,the evolution process caused by non-penetrating cracks can be regarded as one of the important reasons for inducing *** results are expected to improve the understanding of the process of spalling formation and rockburst and can be used to analyze the stability of rocks or rock structures.

Online monitoring of the curing temperature field is essential to improving the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process of composite *** embedded sensor-based technologies have difficulty monitoring the full temperature field or have to introduce heterogeneous items that could have an undesired impact on the *** this paper,a non-contact,full-field monitoring method based on deep learning that predicts the internal temperature field of composite parts in real time using surface temperature measurements of auxiliary materials is *** the proposed method,an average temperature monitoring accuracy of 97%is achieved in various heating *** addition,this method also demonstrates satisfying feasibility when a stronger thermal barrier covers the *** method was experimentally validated during the self-resistance electric heating process,in which the monitoring accuracy reached 93.1%.This method can potentially be applied to automated manufacturing and process control in the composites industry.

The injection of a polymer chain into a small circular cavity under tangential self-propelled force is studied by using Langevin dynamics *** indicate that the injection dynamics of the active polymer shows strong correlation with the polymer conformation inside the cavity depending on the polymer rigidity(k_(b)).The injection timeτvaries nonmonotonously with increasing k_(b),and reaches its minimum at k_(b)^(*).When k_(b) is small(k_(b)≪k_(b)^(*)),the polymer is nearly random coil in the cavity,and spends a long time at the final stage of the injection process due to the large repulsion between monomers inside the *** k_(b) is moderate(k_(b)∼k_(b)^(*)),the part of polymer inside the cavity forms spiral configuration under the tangential active force,and the whole polymer moves synchronously with a constant velocity during the injection process,leading to a small injection *** k_(b) is large(k_(b)≫k_(b)^(*)),the polymer is nearly straight at the initial stage of the injection process,and takes a long time to bend itself,leading to a large injection time.

BACKGROUND Colorectal anastomotic occlusion is a serious complication of colorectal cancer *** several treatment strategies have been proposed,the mana-gement of anastomotic occlusion remains *** this report,we present a case of anastomotic occlusion recanalization performed using a novel technique involving two endoscopes,one for radial incision and the other serving as a guide *** novel technique offers significant advantages in terms of operational feasibility,reduced invasiveness,rapid recovery,and shortened hospital *** SUMMARY A 37-year-old man underwent low anterior resection and prophylactic double-lumen ileostomy for rectal cancer in June,*** months later,complete anastomotic occlusion was observed on ***,we developed a novel atresia recanalization *** endoscopes were placed,one through the colonic anastomosis and the other through the anus.A radial incision was successfully made from the colonic side,guided by the light of the endoscope from the anal *** recanal-ization was performed within 20 *** weeks after recanalization,colonoscopy revealed that the diameter of the colorectal anastomosis was approximately 16 mm and the patient therefore underwent stoma reversal in *** the follow-up period of approximately one year,the patient remained well and no stenosis or obstruction symptoms were *** Endoscopic atresia recanalization of colorectal anastomotic occlusion assisted by an opposing light source is safe and effective.

Background Parkinson＇s disease （PD） is an autosomally inherited neurodegenerative disease in elderly *** etiology of PD has long been thought to be associated with both genetic and environmental *** explore potential genetic risk factors for PD in the northern Han Chinese population,we investigated three single nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs）（rs4538475,rs11107 and rs12564040） in the BST1,PARK15 and PARK9 *** Genomic DNA from 215 PD patients and 212 matched controls was amplified in two independent PCR systems and subsequently genotyped by digestion with the endonuclease *** parameter and association studies were carried out with SPSS 13.0 and PLINK 1.07 *** We could accurately detect all genotypes in the three loci with the PCR-RFLP or mismatched PCR-RFLP *** observed heterozygosities of the rs4538475 and rs11107 loci in PD and control groups ranged from 0.460-0.481 and 0.410-0.441,in BST1,PARK15 respectively,while we detected no heterozygosity at the rs12564040 locus in *** similar distributions of genotypic frequency between both groups suggest that the three SNPs investigated in this study are unlikely to play roles as common risk factors or pathogenic mutations for PD in northern Han *** The SNPs investigated in the BST1,PARK15 and PARK9 genes associated with PD susceptibility are not associated with PD in the northern Han Chinese population.
