Gender and rural transformation:A systematic literature review

Rural transformation can improve poverty reduction,living standards,and health outcomes in developing ***,impacts associated with rural transformation vary by region,household,and individual trait(including gender).While research on rural transformation has been increasing over the last decade,there has been no comprehensive review conducted on the relationships between gender and rural ***,we conduct a systematic literature review to investigate the impacts of rural transformation on gender and the influence of gender inclusiveness on rural *** reviewed 82 studies from 1960-2021 that explore the relationships between rural transformation and *** then developed a framework that captures incidences and flow directions between *** show that most studies examined the impacts of rural transformation on women and between gender *** investigated the role of women and the influence of gender inclusiveness on rural ***,studies showed that rural transformation typically leads to positive outcomes for women regarding employment,income,and ***,negative impacts on women’s control over income,stability of new income sources,and access to healthy food are also *** future development policies and programs to explicitly account for gender inclusiveness can lead to more successful rural transformation.

the nonlinear analysis with an analytical approach on dynamic torsional buckling of stiffened functionally graded thin toroidal shell segments is investigated. the shell is reinforced by inside stiffeners and surrounded by elastic foundations in a thermal environment and under a time-dependent torsional load. the governing equations are derived based on the Donnell shell theory with the yon Karman geometrical nonlinearity, the Stein and McElman assumption, the smeared stiffeners technique, and the Galerkin method. A deflection function with three terms is chosen. the thermal parameters of the uniform temperature rise and nonlinear temperature conduction law are found in an explicit form. A closed-form expression for determining the static critical torsional load is obtained. A critical dynamic torsional load is found by the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method and the Budiansky-Roth criterion. the effects of stiffeners, foundations, material, and dimensional parameters on dynamic responses of shells are considered.

Science,technology,engineering,and mathematics(StEM)education has become a critical factor in promoting sustainable ***,book reading is still an essential method for cognitive development and knowledge *** developing countries where StEM teaching and learning resources are limited,book reading is an important educational tool to promote ***,public data sets about StEM education and book reading behaviors in emerging countries are *** article,therefore,aims to present a data set of 4,966 secondary school students from a school-based data collection in *** data set comprises of five major categories:1)students’personal information(including StEM performance),2)family-related information,3)book reading preferences,4)book reading frequency/habits,and 5)classroom *** introducing the designing principles,the data collection method,and the variables in the data set,we aim to provide researchers,policymakers,and educators with well-validated resources and guidelines to conduct low-cost research,pedagogical programs in emerging countries.

In 2004, docetaxel was approved for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer （mCRPC）. For the next several years, there was a lull in drug approvals. However, from 2010 onwards, 5 additional therapies have been approved on the basis of showing a survival benefit in phase III studies. these agents include sipuleuceI-t, cabazitaxel, abiraterone, enzalutamide and （most recently） radium-223. Amongst radiopharmaceuticals currently used for advanced prostate cancer （e.g. samarium-153 and strontium-89）, radium-223 possesses several unique properties. As an alpha-emitting compound, the agent produces a high-energy output over a short range, facilitating selective destruction of tissue within the bone in the region of osteoblastic lesions while sparing surrounding normal tissue. the current review will outline biological rationale for radium-223 and also provide an overview of preclinical and clinical development of the agent. Rational sequencing of radium-223 and combinations, in the increasingly complex landscape of mCRPC will be discussed, along with factors influencing clinical implementation.

Herein, we discuss 18-year follow-up data from the Scandinavian ProstateCancer Group-4 （SPCG-4） trial, a randomized study comparing observation and radical prostatectomy （RP） in patients with localized prostate cancer. the results of this study are contrasted with another study employing a similar randomization, the Prostate Cancer Intervention Versus Observation trial （PIVOt）. We highlight several key differences in study eligibility and enrollment that may account for distinct results, and describe how these datasets impact the complex landscape of therapy for localized prostate cancer.

In this study,graphene-carbon nanotube（CNt） hybrid films were directly synthesized on polycrystalline copper（Cu） substrates by thermal chemical vapor deposition（CVD） *** films were synthesized on Cu substrate at 1000 ℃ in mixture of gases:argon（Ar）,hydrogen（H2）,and methane（CH4）.then,carbon nanotubes（CNts） were grown uniformly on the surface of graphene/Cu films at 750 ℃ in mixture of Ar,*** acetylene（C2H2） *** salt FeCl3solution deposited onto the surface of graphene/Cu substrate by spin coating method was used as precursor for the growth of the *** density and quality of the CNts on the surface of graphene/Cu films can be controlled by varying the concentration of FeCl3salt catalyst.

this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.
