Objective To investigate the effect of mucin 1(MUC1)on the proliferation and apoptosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)and its regulatory *** The 60 NPC and paired para-cancer normal tissues were collected from October 2020 to July 2021 in Quanzhou First *** expression of MUC1 was measured by real-time quantitative PCR(qPCR)in the patients with *** 5-8F and HNE1 cells were transfected with siRNA control(si-control)or siRNA targeting MUC1(si-MUC1).Cell proliferation was analyzed by cell counting kit-8 and colony formation assay,and apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry analysis in the 5-8F and HNE1 *** qPCR and ELISA were executed to analyze the levels of TNF-αand *** blot was performed to measure the expression of MUC1,NFкB and apoptosis-related proteins(Bax and Bcl-2).Results The expression of MUC1 was up-regulated in the NPC tissues,and NPC patients with the high MUC1 expression were inclined to EBV infection,growth and metastasis of *** of MUC1 restrained malignant features,including the proliferation and apoptosis,downregulated the expression of p-IкB、p-P65 and Bcl-2 and upregulated the expression of Bax in the NPC *** Downregulation of MUC1 restrained biological characteristics of malignancy,including cell proliferation and apoptosis,by inactivating NF-κB signaling pathway in NPC.

The effects of simulated nitrogen(N)deposition on soil exchangeable cations were studied in three forest types of subtropical *** N treatments with three replications were designed for the monsoon evergreen broadleaf forest (mature forest):control(0 kg N ha-1 year-1),low N(50 kg N ha-1 year-1),medium N(100 kg N ha-1 year-1)and high N(150 kg N ha-1 year-1),and only three treatments(i.e.,control,low N,medium N)were established for the pine and mixed *** had been applied continuously for 26 months before the *** mature forest responded more rapidly and intensively to N additions than the pine and mixed forests,and exhibited some significant negative symptoms,e.g.,soil acidification,Al mobilization and leaching of base cations from *** pine and mixed forests responded slowly to N additions and exhibited no significant response of soil *** of soil exchangeable cations to N deposition varied in the forests of subtropical China,depending on soil N status and land-use history.

Effect of Ti Particles on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of AZ91 Magnesium Matrix Composites

Spherical micro-Ti particle(TiP)-reinforced AZ91 magnesium alloy composites were fabricated by semi-solid stirring assisted ultrasonic vibration,which were then subjected to hot *** microstructure results showed that the addition of Ti particles refined the grain size and decreased the texture intensity of the as-extruded AZ91 *** Al3Ti phase with a thickness of 100 nm formed at the Ti/Mg interface,which had a non-coherent relationship with the magnesium *** as-extruded 1 vol.%TiP/AZ91 composite exhibited the best comprehensive mechanical properties,with yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation at break of 366 MPa,456 MPa,and 14.6%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those of the AZ91 ***,the addition of Ti particles can improve the strength and ductility of the AZ91 alloy,demonstrating the value of magnesium matrix composites for commercial applications.

Full-domain collaborative deployment method of multiple interference sources and evaluation of its deployment effect

This paper realizes the full-domain collaborative deployment of multiple interference sources of the global satellite navigation system(GNSS)and evaluates the deployment effect to enhance the ability to disturb the attacker and the capability to defend the GNSS during navigation *** evaluation indicators for the jamming effect of GNSS suppressive and deceptive jamming sources are first created,their evaluation models are built,and their detection procedures are sorted out,as the basis for determining the deployment *** principles for collaboratively deploying multi-jamming sources are developed to obtain the deployment structures(including the required number,structures in demand,and corresponding positions)of three single interference sources required by collaboratively ***,simulation and hardware-in-loop testing results are presented to determine a rational configuration of the collaborative deployment of multi-jamming sources in the set situation and further realize the full-domain deployment of an interference network from ground,air to *** evaluation indices for the deployment effect are finally developed to evaluate the deployment effect of the proposed configuration and further verify its reliability and rationality.

In Nazar?s work, the strategy using a zeolite polymer membrane as a protective interface was proposed to restrain the electrolyte decomposition. This strategy could boost Mg plating/stripping performance up to 6000 h in zeolite/Mg|zeolite/Mg symmetric cells and 91%capacity retention in zeolite/Mg||Mo3S4battery after 200 *** storage devices have been intensively explored because of their important roles in our daily lives [1D3].

Effectiveness of magnetic resonance imaging and spiral computed tomography in the staging and treatment prognosis of colorectal cancer

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a prevalent cancer type in clinical settings;its early signs can be difficult to detect,which often results in late-stage diagnoses in many *** early detection and diagnosis of CRC are crucial for improving treatment success and patient survival ***,imaging techniques have been hypothesized to be essential in managing CRC,with magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and spiral computed tomography(SCT)playing a significant role in enhancing diagnostic and treatment *** To explore the effectiveness of MRI and SCT in the preoperative staging of CRC and the prognosis of laparoscopic *** Ninety-five individuals admitted to Zhongshan Hospital Xiamen University underwent MRI and SCT and were diagnosed with *** precision of MRI and SCT for the presurgical classification of CRC was assessed,and pathological staging was used as a *** operating characteristic curves were used to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of blood volume,blood flow,time to peak,permeability surface,blood reflux constant,volume transfer constant,and extracellular extravascular space volume fraction on the prognosis of patients with *** Pathological biopsies confirmed the following CRC stages:23,23,32,and 17 at T1,T2,T3,and T4,*** were 39 cases at the N0 stage,22 at N1,34 at N2,44 at M0 stage,and 51 at *** pathological findings as the benchmark,the combined use of MRI and SCT for preoperative TNM staging in patients with CRC demonstrated superior sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy compared with either modality alone,with a statistically significant difference in accuracy(Plues for laparoscopic treatment prognosis,as indicated by the areas under the curve for blood volume,blood flow,time to peak,and permeability surface,blood reflux constant,volume transfer constant,and extracellular extravascular space volu

Ion and electron motions in the outer electron diffusion region of collisionless magnetic reconnection

Two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations are performed to study the coupling between ion and electron motions in collisionless magnetic *** electron diffusion region(EDR),where the electron motions are demagnetized,is found to have a two-layer structure:an inner EDR near the reconnection site and an outer EDR that is elongated to nearly 10 ion inertial lengths in the outflow *** the inner EDR,the speed of the electron outflow increases when the electrons move away from the X *** the outer EDR,the speed of the electron outflow first increases and then decreases until the electrons reach the boundary of the outer *** the boundary of the outer EDR,the magnetic field piles up and forms a depolarization *** the perspective of the fluid,a force analysis on the formation of electron and ion outflows has also been *** the X line,the electrons are accelerated by the reconnection electric field in the out-of-plane *** the electrons move away from the X line,we find that the Lorentz force converts the direction of the accelerated electrons to the x direction,forming an electron *** electric field forces and electron gradient forces tend to drag the electron *** acceleration along the x direction is caused by the Lorentz force,whereas the pressure gradient force tends to decelerate the ion *** these two terms are important,their effects on ions are almost *** Hall electric field force does positive work on ions and is not *** ions are continuously accelerated,and the ion and electron outflow velocities are almost the same near the depolarization front.

The uncontrolled growth of zinc dendrites on zinc anode hinders the application of zinc ion *** solve this problem,lu's group proposed a nuclei-rich galvanizing strategy for suppressing the zinc dendrite *** allows the nuclei-rich zinc electrode to cycle steadily for1200 h and have a high Coulombic efficiency of 99.7%at15 mA·cm^(-2)with a deposited amount of 10 mAh·cm^(-2).Moreover,the Zn-MnO_(2) battery with a low N/P ratio of 1.9exhibited sustained cycling life.

Towards adaptive graph neural networks via solving prior-data conflicts

Graph neural networks(GNNs)have achieved remarkable performance in a variety of graph-related *** evidence in the GNN community shows that such good performance can be attributed to the homophily prior;i.e.,connected nodes tend to have similar features and ***,in heterophilic settings where the features of connected nodes may vary significantly,GNN models exhibit notable performance *** this work,we formulate this problem as prior-data confict and propose a model called the mixture-prior graph neural network(MPGNN).First,to address the mismatch of homophily prior on heterophilic graphs,we introduce the non-informative prior,which makes no assumptions about the relationship between connected nodes and learns such relationship from the ***,to avoid performance degradation on homophilic graphs,we implement a soft switch to balance the effects of homophily prior and non-informative prior by learnable *** evaluate the performance of MPGNN on both synthetic and real-world *** show that MPGNN can effectively capture the relationship between connected nodes,while the soft switch helps select a suitable prior according to the graph *** these two designs,MPGNN outperforms state-of-the-art methods on heterophilic graphs without sacrificing performance on homophilic graphs.
