Vegetable greenhouses form a significant land utilisation pattern in China.A case study of the greenhouse soil quality changes and potential risk to humans under a specific long-term environment,which includes high fertilization rates,high temperatures and humidity levels and out-of-season cultivation,is presented in this *** profiles of 72 representative solar greenhouses with various planting years were sampled in Shouguang City,which is the birthplace of winter greenhouse in *** temporal distribution of soil quality changes were quantitatively evaluated through the application of a correlation analysis and soil quality *** soil was highly enriched with phosphorus and potassium and had low organic matter *** organic matter,nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium contents increased with the years planted,reached their peak values after 5-10 a,and declined as the soil layer’s depth *** infiltration rate of nitrate was relatively high,which poses risks to underground water safety.A comprehensive soil quality assessment revealed that in vegetable greenhouses planted for different periods,the soil quality improved at first and then sharply declined after 10 *** greenhouse soil quality changes will aid in implementing nutrient management strategies to improve the soil quality and sustainable development programs for the vegetable industry.

Influence of soil texture on the process of subsurface drainage in saturated-unsaturated zones

This study addressed the problem of low drainage efficiency or even no drainage in subsurface drainage systems buried in saturated-unsaturated zones above the water *** indoor experiment on infiltration under ponded conditions in a homogeneous soil column was performed to study the effects of soil texture on the soil wetting front morphology,soil infiltration rate,drainage efficiency of the subsurface drainage pipe,vertical distribution of soil water content and salinity along the soil *** results showed that the drainage process of subsurface drainage pipes above the water table was quite different from that of subsurface drainage pipes below the water *** a subsurface drainage pipe was located in sandy soil,the migration of soil water toward the bottom of the drainage pipe was significant,and the water could not be discharged into the *** the drainage pipe was located in loamy clay,the movement of soil water towards the bottom of the pipe was retarded,and the water could be discharged into the *** the drainage process,the drainage of the pipe can produce nonequilibrium flow in the soil,and the continuity of the nonequilibrium flow can be affected by the hydraulic conductivity of the soil above the pipe,which can result in discontinuous drainage and low drainage *** water holding capacity,permeability and aeration of soil are important factors that affect the drainage under unsaturated *** the hysteresis effect and capillary barrier around the drainage pipe and adjusting water holding capacity,the permeability and aeration of soil structure through a new subsurface drainage structure may enhance the drainage efficiency of subsurface drainage pipes in saturated-unsaturated zones.

Photothermal therapy(PTT)using near-infrared(NIR)light for tumor treatment has triggered extensive attentions because of its advantages of noninvasion and *** current research on PTT usually uses lasers in the first NIR window(NIR-I;700–900 nm)as irradiation ***,the second NIR window(NIR-II;1000–1700 nm)especially NIRIIa window(1300–1400 nm)is considered much more promising in diagnosis and treatment as its superiority in penetration depth and maximum permissible exposure over NIR-I ***,we propose the use of laser excitation at 1275 nm,which is approved by Food and Drug Administration for physical therapy,as an attractive technique for PTT to balance of tissue absorption and scattering with water ***,CuS-PEG nanoparticles with similar absorption values at 1275 and 808 nm,a conventional NIR-I window for PTT,were synthesized as PTT agents and a comparison platform,to explore the potential of 1275 and 808 nm lasers for PTT,especially in deep-tissue *** results showed that 1275 nm laser was practicable in *** exhibited much more desirable outcomes in cell ablation in vitro and deep-tissue antitumor capabilities in vivo compared to that of 808 nm ***-IIa laser illumination is superior to NIR-I laser for deep-tissue PTT,and shows high potential to improve the PTT outcome.

Objective The Yubei area is located in the mid-east Maigaiti slope of southwestern Tarim Basin, China, with an exploration history of several years. Recent exploration has preliminarily indicated that the Ordovician carbonate formations in this area have some oil and gas potential. Carbonate microfacies provides material basis for reservoir development, seal formation and hydrocarbon generation. Therefore, this work utilized the standard microfacies （SMF） types to study the microfacies of the Ordovician formations in the Yubei area in order to provide theoretical basis for the next exploration.

Petrology and geochemical characteristics of dolomite in the Middle Permian Maoukou Formation,central Sichuan

Dolomites of the Maokou Formation in the central Sichuan were mainly developed in the middle-upper part of Member 2 and the lower part of Member 3 of Maokou Formation,it could be divided into fine-to medium-grained calcareous dolomite,fine-to medium-grained dolomite and breccia dolomite according to petrology characteristic,and the latter two were *** contrast of geochemical characteristic between micritic limestone and different types of dolomite,the dolomite was characterized by low Fe content,high Mn content and low Sr content relative to the micritc *** micritic limestone and different types of dolomite had similar rare earth element(REE)distribution patterns which were characterized by depletion of light REE,weak positive anomaly of La and negative anomaly of Ce,and the dolomite also had weak positive anomaly of *** with the micritic limestone,the fine-to medium-grained dolomite and breccia dolomite had low values of δ^(18)O and obvious high ratios of^(87)Sr/^(86)*** distribution patterns of different types of dolomite indicated that some geochemical characteristics of primitive limestone were preserved during the dolomitization process in the Maokou Formation,while weak Eu positive anomaly of dolomite and isotopic difference in dolomite and limestone might be caused by high-temperature thermal fluids during the dolomitization *** dolomitization of the Maokou Formation was controlled by some factors:(1)strata residual seawater and hydrothermal fluids derived from magmatism were major sources of Mg during the dolomitization process;(2)heating effect of Emeishan large igneous province provided abnormal high paleogeotemperature for dolomitization;(3)fault systems offered rapid migration channels for abnormal geothermal convection and dolomitization fluid;(4)limestone of grain-shoal facies with good porosity and permeability was more prone to dolomitization than micritic *** geotemperature and abundant Mg sup

Global Research Trends Related to CO_2 Emissions and Their Enlightenment to China

Given the growing awareness of the likely catastrophic impacts of climate change and close association of climate change with global emissions of greenhouse gases （of which carbon dioxide is more prominent） , considerable research efforts have been devoted to the analysis of carbon dioxide （CO2） emissions and its relationship to sustainable development. Now GHG reduction programs have been coming into effect in many developed coun- tries that have more responsibility for historical CO2 emissions, and the studies have become mature. First, the GHG emissions accounting system is more all-inclusive and the methods are more rational with the effort of IPCC from 1995 and all other research- ers related. Second, the responsibility allocation is more rational and fair. Along with the clarity of ＂carbon transfer＂ and ＂carbon leakage＂, the perspective and methodology for allocating regional COz emissions responsibility is turning from production base to consumption base. Third, the decomposition method has become more mature and more complex. For example, the decomposition formulas are including KAYA expression and input-output expres- sion and the decomposition techniques are developed from index analysis to simple average divisia and then adaptive-weighting divisia. Fourth, projection models have become more integrated and long-term. The top-down model and bottom-up model are both inter-embedded and synergetic. Trends above give some advice for the research on CO2 in China, such as emissions factors database construction, deeper-going research on emissions responsibility and structure analysis, promotion of modeling technology and technology-environment database.

A two-year experiment was established in northern Xinjiang to investigate the effects of autumn plowing methods on nitrate nitrogen accumulation,spring-sown soil conditions and cotton emergence rate,and to explore the response relationship between soil water,heat and nitrate *** experiment included five autumn plowing treatments,namely,plough tillage(FG),no-tillage(MG),ridge and furrow alternation(LG),plough tillage with straw mulch(FJ)and plough tillage with activated charcoal mulch(FH).The results showed that both FH and FJ treatments were beneficial to promote the nitrate-nitrogen accumulation in topsoil,while FG,MG and LG treatments aggravated the nitrate nitrogen leaching in *** the freezing period,FH and FJ treatments were beneficial to reduce soil heat loss and facilitate the coordinated upward migration of soil water and nitrate *** the thawing period,FH and FJ treatments favored suppressing the synergistic downward transport of soil water and nitrate-nitrogen and motivated the synergistic upward migration of heat and nitrate nitrogen in deep *** regression analysis suggested that the interaction between water,heat and nitrate nitrogen under FH and FJ treatments showed a highly significant *** and FJ treatments showed obvious advantages in regulating soil conditions and optimizing soil water,heat and nitrate nitrogen co-transport *** the spring sowing period,the FH and FJ treatments increased the average soil temperature by 0.99℃and 1.29℃,and the average soil moisture content by 6.01%and 8.70%,and the average soil nitrate content by 10.20 mg/kg and 10.47 mg/kg,in the 0-25 cm soil layer,*** and FJ treatments significantly grew the emergence rate of cotton,which can be used as the main autumn tillage strategies in arid areas of northern Xinjiang.

Preparation of γ-Al2O3 via Hydrothermal Synthesis Using ρ-Al2O3 as Raw Material for Propane Dehydrogenation

γ-Al2O3 was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis usingρ-Al2O3 and urea as raw *** this work,the eff ects of the molar ratio of CO(NH2)2/Al and reaction temperature were investigated,and a Pt–Sn–K/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was *** ammonium aluminum carbonate hydroxide(AACH),γ-Al2O3,and Pt–Sn–K/γ-Al2O3 were characterized by X-ray diff raction,scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,N2 adsorption–desorption,thermogravimetry–differential thermal analysis,and NH3 temperature-programmed desorption *** reactivity of Pt–Sn–K/γ-Al2O3 for propane dehydrogenation was tested in a micro-fixed-bed *** results show thatγ-Al2O3 with a specific surface area of 358.1 m 2/g and pore volume of 0.96 cm 3/g was obtained when the molar ratio of CO(NH2)2/Al was 3:1 and the reaction temperature was 140℃.The alumina obtained by calcination of AACH has a higher specific surface area and larger pore volume than the industrial pseudo-boehmite *** catalyst prepared from AACH as precursor showed high selectivity and conversion,which can reach 96.1%and 37.6%,respectively,for propane dehydrogenation.
