This paper proposes a dual-motor configuration to enhance closed-loop performance of a telescope control system. Two identical motors are mounted on each side of a U-type frame to drive the telescope elevation axis instead of a single motor drive, which is usually used in a classical design. This new configuration and mechanism can reduce the motor to half the size used in the former design, and it also provides some other advantages. A master-slave current control mode is employed to synchronize the two motors. Acceleration feedback control is utilized to further enhance the servo performance. Extensive experiments are used to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm in synchronization, disturbance attenuation and low-velocity tracking.

The fungal pathogen Sclerotinia sclerotiorum Libert causes rot diseases on many crops worldwide and large economic losses occur frequently because of a lack of resistant varieties. The pathogenesis of S. sclerotiorum and the molecular basis of plant responses to the pathogen are poorly understood. In the present investigation, the process of S. sclerotiorum infection in Arabidopsis thaliana L., a plant that is highly susceptible to this fungus, was analysed. In addition, the defense activation in the host was investigated. A convenient inoculation method using millet grain was developed for S. sclerotiorum in Arabidopsis. The fungus rapidly infected the plants, probably through ball- or cushion-like infection structures. Visible symptoms developed within 24 h and plants were killed 72 h after inoculation. Cellulase, the main enzyme that caused host tissues to rot, was secreted by S. sclerotiorum in a pH-dependent manner. Oxalic acid, another pathogenic factor secreted by the fungus, induced necrotic lesions on the leaves, infection with S. sclerotiorum strongly induced the production of the pathogenesis-related （PR） proteins β-1,3-glucanase and chitinase in Arabidopsis. Furthermore, the PR gene PDF. 1 was induced, but not PR1, indicating that the pathogen activated basal defense of jasmonic acid/ethylene dependence, which is consistent with its necrotrophic characteristics. This pathosystem for Arabidopsis-S. sclerotiorum could provide an approach for the analysis of the interactions between S. sclerotiorum and other crops, thereby facilitating genetic manipulation techniques for controlling this pathogen.

Projection of temperature and precipitation under SSPs-RCPs Scenarios over northwest China

Climate change significantly affects the environmental and socioeconomic conditions in northwest *** we evaluate the ability of five general circulation models(GCMs)from 6th phase of the Coupled Model Inter-comparison Project(CMIP6)to reproduce regional temperature and precipitation over northwest China from 1961 to 2014,and project the future temperature and precipitation during 2021 to 2100 under SSPs-RCPs(SSP1-1.9,SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,SSP3-7.0,SSP4-3.4,SSP4-6.0 and SSP5-8.5).The results show that the CMIP6 models can simulate temperature better than *** show that the annual mean temperature will further increase under different SSPs-RCPs scenarios in the 21st *** climate changes in the near-term(2021-2040),mid-term(2041-2060)and long-term(2081-2100)are analyzed relative to the reference period(1995-2014).In the long term,warming will be significantly higher than the near and *** the long term,annual mean temperature will increase by 1.4℃,1.9℃,3.3℃,5.5℃,2.7℃,3.8℃ and 6.0℃ under SSP1-1.9,SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,SSP3-7.0,SSP4-3.4,SSP4-6.0 and SSP5-8.5,***,warming in the Junggar Basin will be higher than those in the Tarim ***,the maximum warming zone will be in the mountainous areas of Tarim Basin during spring and autumn,in the southern basin during winter,and in the east during *** shows an increasing trend under different SSPs-RCPs in the 21st *** the long term,increase in precipitation will be significantly higher than in the near and *** in annual precipitation in the long term will be 4.1% under SSP1-1.9,13.9% under SSP1-2.6,28.4% under SSP2-4.5, 35.2% under SSP3-7.0, 6.9% under SSP4-3.4, 8.9% under SSP4-6.0, and 27.3% under SSP5-8.5 relative to the reference period of 1995-2014. Spatially, precipitation increase will be higher in the south than the north, especially higher in mountainous regions than the basin under SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SSP5-8.5.

In this work,ultrasonic surface rolling process(USRP)was utilized to produce a gradient structured layer on 7 B50-T7751 aluminum alloy,and the mechanical properties and corrosion fatigue behavior of treated samples were *** results reveal that underwent USRP,a 425~m thick gradient structure and a 700~m deep compressive residual stress field are created,aluminum grain size become fine(~67 nm),and the corrosion rate of treated surface reduces by 60.08%owing to the combined effect of compressive residual stress and surface *** corrosion fatigue strength is enhanced to 117%of that of 7 B50 Al alloys by means of USRP due to the introduced compressive residual stress,which is considered as the major favorable factor in suppressing the initiation and early propagation of corrosion fatigue ***,the gradient structure is an important factor in providing a significant synergistic contribution to the improvement of corrosion fatigue performance.

As offshore wind farms expand into deeper and farther ocean regions and the unit capacity of offshore wind turbines(OWTs)increases,there is a pressing need for a new foundation structure that can accommodate deep-sea conditions and support large capacities while maintaining economical and *** meet this goal of integrated transportation and one-step installation,a novel five-bucket jacket foundation(FBJF),with its suction installation and leveling methods in sand,has been proposed,analyzed and experimentally ***,seepage failure experiments of the FBJF at various depths were conducted,and a formula for calculating the critical suction of seepage failure suitable for the FBJF in sand was chosen and recommended for use with a range of values for the permeability coefficient ***,through leveling experiments of the FBJF at different depths,the maximum adjustable leveling angle during the sinking process was defined using seepage failure and the adjustable leveling angle of the foundation as control *** leveling control strategies were proposed and ***,an automatic sinking and leveling control system for the FBJF was developed and experimentally verified for feasibility.

A novel phenylacetylene derivative containing urea groups was synthesized and polymerized with a Rh catalyst to give the corresponding polymer, poly（1） with moderate number-average molecular weights. The poly（1） was soluble in toluene, CHCI3, CH2C12, THF, DMF, and DMSO, but insoluble in hexane, diethyl ether and MeOH. The specific rotation and circular dichroism （CD） spectroscopic studies revealed that poly（1） took predominantly one-handed helical structures. The presence of intramolecular hydrogen bonding was confirmed by liquid-state IR spectroscopy. The helicity of poly（1） could be tuned by temperature and anion. The helical conformation of the polymer was stable against Br but susceptible to F.

This study analyzes the function of different muscles during arm wrestling and proposes a method to analyze the optimal forearm angle for professional arm *** built a professional arm-wrestling platform to measure the shape and deformation of the skin at the biceps brachii of a volunteer in vivo during arm *** observed the banding phenomenon of arm skin strain during muscle contraction and developed a model to evaluate the moment provided by the biceps *** to this model,the strain field of the area of interest on the skin was measured,and the forearm angles most favorable and unfavorable to the work of the biceps brachii were *** study demonstrates the considerable potential of applying DIC and its extension method to the in vivo measurement of human skin and facilitates the use of the in vivo measurement of skin deformation in various sports in the future.
