The China Space Station Telescope(CSST,also known as Xuntian)is a serviceable two-meter-aperture wide-field telescope operating in the same orbit as the China Space *** CSST plans to survey a sky area of 17,500 deg^(2.of the medium-to-high Galactic latitude to a depth of 2.-2. AB mag in at least 6 photometric bands over 2.5-1,000 *** such a large sky area,slitless spectra will also be taken over the same wavelength range as the imaging *** though the CSST survey is not dedicated to time-domain studies,it would still detect a large number of transients,such as supernovae(SNe).In this paper,we simulate photometric SN observations based on a strawman survey plan using the Sncosmo *** its 10-year survey,the CSST is expected to observe about 5 million SNe of various *** quality cuts,we obtain a“gold”sample that comprises roughly 7,400 SNe Ia,2.2.0 SNe Ibc,and 6,500 SNeⅡcandidates with correctly classified percentages reaching 91%,63.,and 93.(formally defined as classification precision),*** same survey can also trigger alerts for the detection of about 15,500 SNe Ia(precision 61%)and 2.100 SNeⅡ(precision 49%)candidates at least two days before the light ***,the near-ultraviolet observations of the CSST will be able to catch hundreds of shock-cooling events serendipitously every *** results demonstrate that the CSST can make a potentially significant contribution to SN studies.

The Voronoi grain-based breakable block model(VGBBM)based on the combined finite-discrete element method(FDEM)was proposed to explicitly characterize the failure mechanism and predict the deformation behavior of hard-rock mine *** influence of the microscopic parameters on the macroscopic mechanical behavior was investigated using laboratory-scale *** field-scale pillar models(width-to-height,W/H=1,2.and 3.were calibrated based on the empirically predicted stress-strain curves of Creighton mine *** results indicated that as the W/H ratios increased,the VGBBM effectively predicted the transition from strain-softening to pseudo-ductile behavior in pillars,and explicitly captured the separated rock slabs and the V-shaped damage zones on both sides of pillars and conjugate shear bands in core zones of *** volumetric strain field revealed significant compressional deformation in core zones of *** the peak strains of W/H=1 and 2.pillars were relatively consistent,there were significant differences in the strain energy storage and release mechanism.W/H was the primary factor influencing the deformation and strain energy in the pillar *** friction coefficient of the structural plane was also an important factor affecting the pillar strength and the weakest discontinuity *** fracture surface was controlled by the discontinuity angle and the friction *** study demonstrated the capability of the VGBBM in predicting the strengths and deformation behavior of hard-rock pillars in deep mine design.

To study the structural and dynamical properties of a 2. dusty plasma lattice, a set of experiments were performed in an environment of radio frequency discharge. Based on the results of one of the experiments, pair correlation function, bond-orientational correlation function and mean square displacement of such a system were computed and analyzed. The bond-orientational correlation function is found to fit in with the law of e?r , and the mean square displacement is found to increase monotonously with time, both of which, together with the pair correlation function, indicate that the two-dimensional dusty plasma lattice formed in the experiment stayed in a “liquid” state.

Type I interferon(IFN)inhibits a wide spectrum of viruses through stimulating the expression of antiviral *** an IFN-induced protein,myxovirus resistance B(MXB)protein was reported to inhibit multiple highly pathogenic human *** remains to be determined whether MXB employs a common mechanism to restrict different ***,we find that IFN alters the subcellular localization of hundreds of host proteins,and this IFN effect is partially lost upon MXB *** results of our mechanistic study reveal that MXB recognizes vimentin(VIM)and recruits protein kinase B(AKT)to phosphorylate VIM at amino acid S3.,which leads to reorganization of the VIM network and impairment of intracellular trafficking of virus protein complexes,hence causing a restriction of virus *** results highlight a new function of MXB in modulating VIM-mediated trafficking,which may lead towards a novel broad-spectrum antiviral strategy to control a large group of viruses that depend on VIM for successful replication.

The high-quality gate dielectric on silicon carbide （SiC） surface is critical to fabricate high-performance SiC metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors（MOSFETs）.This research employs microwave plasma annealing （MPA） to obtain high-quality Al2.3.SiC gate *** designing MPA atmosphere and optimizing the plasma power,the SiC MOS capacitor with a Al2.3.ielectric film shows the enhanced *** interface state density is reduced by 1 order of magnitude to 6×1011cm-2.eV-1,the breakdown electric field is increased,and the voltage shift is effectively suppressed Besides,the mechanism of MPA process is discussed in terms of the thermal effect and reactant species.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） results unveil oxygen plasma plays the main *** plasma power during the MPA process results in defect repairs of the firstneighbor Al-O bonding and partial removal of Al-O-H bond from the interface *** study demonstrates that MPA process is an effective option to realize highquality dielectric and interface on SiC.

Bear bile has been a valuable and effective medicinal material in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)for over 13.***,the current practice of obtaining it through bear farming is under scrutiny for its adverse impact on bear ***,we present a new approach for creating artificial bear bile(ABB)as a high-quality and sustainable alternative to natural bear *** study addresses the scientific challenges of creating bear bile alternatives through interdisciplinary collaborations across various fields,including resources,chemistry,biology,medicine,pharmacology,and TCM.A comprehensive efficacy assessment system that bridges the gap between TCM and modern medical terminology has been established,allowing for the systematic screening of therapeutic *** the utilization of chemical synthesis and enzyme engineering technologies,our research has achieved the environmentally friendly,large-scale production of bear bile therapeutic compounds,as well as the optimization and recomposition of ABB *** resulting ABB not only closely resembles natural bear bile in its composition but also offers advantages such as consistent product quality,availability of raw materials,and independence from threatened or wild *** preclinical efficacy evaluations have demonstrated the equivalence of the therapeutic effects from ABB and those from commercially available drained bear bile(DBB).Furthermore,preclinical toxicological assessment and phase I clinical trials show that the safety of ABB is on par with that of the currently used *** innovative strategy can serve as a new research paradigm for developing alternatives for other endangered TCMs,thereby strengthening the integrity and sustainability of TCM.

Objective:Definitive chemoradiotherapy(dCRT)is the standard treatment for unresectable locally advanced esophageal ***,this treatment is associated with substantial toxicity,and most malnourished or elderly patients are unable to complete this ***,there is a need for a more suitable radiotherapy combination regimen for this *** study was aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a combination regimen comprising chemotherapy with nimotuzumab and S-1 and concurrent radiotherapy for patients with fragile locally advanced esophageal cancer with a high Nutritional Risk Screening 2.02.NRS-2.02.***:Eligible patients with unresectable esophageal carcinoma who had an NRS-2.02.score of 2.or higher were *** were treated with S-1 and nimotuzumab with concurrent radiotherapy,followed by surgery or definitive *** primary endpoint was the locoregional control(LRC)***:A total of 55 patients who met the study criteria were *** completion of treatment,surgery was performed in 15 patients and radiotherapy was continued in 40 *** median follow-up period was 3..3.95%confidence interval(95%CI,3..4−3..1)]*** LRC rate was 77.2.(95%CI,66.6%−89.4%)at 1 year in the entire *** overall survival(OS)rate and event-free survival(EFS)rate were 57.5%and 51.5%at 3.years,*** was associated with better LRC[hazard ratio(HR)=0.16;95%CI,0.04−0.70;P=0.015],OS(HR=0.19;95%CI,0.04−0.80;P=0.02.),and EFS(HR=0.2.;95%CI,0.08−0.75;P=0.013..Most adverse events were of grade 1 or 2.and no severe adverse events ***:For malnourished or elderly patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer,radiotherapy combined with nimotuzumab and S-1 is effective and has a good safety profile.

This is the first study to report the co-occurrence of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs),heavy metals,and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)and their impacts on the native microbial consortium in soil due to the long-term *** PFASs,heavy metals,and PAHs were detected in soil samples collected at 2.6 m below the ground surface at different sampling locations in a steel-making *** total concentrations of PFASs varied from 6.55 to 19.79 ng g^(-1),with perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS),perfluorobutane sulfonate,and 6:2.chlorinated polyfluorinated ether sulfonate(alternative of PFOS)being the predominant *** concentrations of arsenic,cadmium,and lead were detected in the ranges of 4.40–12.0.00,0.01–8.67,and 18.00–647.00 mg kg^(-1),respectively,and the concentration of total PAHs was detected in the range of 1.02.13..60 mg kg^(-1).The long-term exposure to mixed contaminants of PFASs,heavy metals,and PAHs led to lower richness and diversity of microbial communities in *** soil bacterial communities were mainly composed of Pseudomonas,norank_p_GAL15,Leptothrix,norank_o_Rokubacteriales,and *** between soil environmental factors and microbial communities indicated that cation exchange capacity and total phosphorus were two key factors in shaping the composition of native microbial ***,Arthrobacter,Leptothrix,and Sphingobium were found to be significantly positively correlated with PFAS concentrations,indicating that these genera could tolerate the stress exerted by PFASs,along with the stress imposed due to the presence of heavy metals or/and PAHs.
