AIM: To c.mpare venous thromboembolism(VTE) in hospitalized ulc.rative c.litis(Uc. patients w.o respond to medic.l management to patients requiring c.lec.omy. METHODS: Population-based surveillanc. from 1997 to 2009 w.s used to identify all adults admitted to hospital for a flare of Uc.and those patients w.o underw.nt c.lec.omy. All medic.l c.arts w.re review.d to c.nfirm the diagnosis and extrac. c.inic.lly relevant information. Uc.patients w.re stratified by:(1) responsive to inpatient medic.l therapy(n = 382);(2) medic.lly refrac.ory requiring emergent c.lec.omy(n = 309); and(3) elec.ive c.lec.omy(n = 329). The primary outc.me w.s the development of VTE during hospitalization or w.thin 6 mo of disc.arge. Heparin prophylaxis to prevent VTE w.s assessed. Logistic.regression analysis determined the effec. of disease c.urse(i.e., responsive to medic.l therapy, medic.lly refrac.ory, and elec.ive c.lec.omy) on VTE after adjusting for c.nfounders inc.uding age, sex, smoking, disease ac.ivity, c.morbidities, extent of disease, and IBD medic.tions(i.e., c.rtic.steroids, mesalamine, azathioprine, and infliximab). Point estimates w.re presented as odds ratios(OR) w.th 95%***: The prevalenc. of VTE among patients w.th Uc.w.o responded to medic.l therapy w.s 1.3% and only 16% of these patients rec.ived heparinprophylaxis. In c.ntrast, VTE w.s higher among patients w.o underw.nt an emergent(8.7%) and elec.ive(4.9%) c.lec.omy, despite greater than 90% of patients rec.iving postoperative heparin prophylaxis. The most c.mmon site of VTE w.s intra-abdominal(45.8%) follow.d by low.r extremity(19.6%). VTE w.s diagnosed after disc.arge from hospital in 16.7% of c.ses. Elec.ive(adjusted OR = 3.69; 95%c.: 1.30-10.44) and emergent c.lec.omy(adjusted OR = 5.28; 95%c.: 1.93-14.45) w.re signific.nt risk fac.ors for VTE as c.mpared to medic.lly responsive Uc.patients. 该文成功地解答了3个关于非局部应力理论用于纳米梁的问题:(ⅰ)在绝大多数研究中,非局部效应增加导致纳米结构体刚度下降,其现象表现为弯曲挠度增加,固有频率减少,屈曲载荷下降,但为什么Eringen的非局部弹性理论给出了完全相反的结论;(ⅱ)为什么在某些研究结果中,非局部效应消失或是对研究结果无影响,比如纳米悬臂梁在集中载荷作用下的弯曲挠度;(ⅲ)在高阶控制方程中,为什么高阶边界条件不存在.通过应用非局部弹性理论和精确变分原理分析纳米梁的弯曲问题,推导出全新的平衡条件、控制方程、边界条件和静态响应.这些方程和条件包含了与之前的相关研究结果符号相反的高阶微分项,这一差别导致了纳米效应对结构体的影响结果完全相反.还证明之前为大家所公认的纳米梁静态或动态平衡条件实际上没有达到平衡,只有用等效弯矩代替非局部弯矩时,才可达到平衡.这些结论通常是可以被其它方法,比如应变梯度理论、耦合应力模型以及相关实验所证明.

Operation of a dual fluidized bed, c.nsisting of a riser as c.mbustor and bubbling bed as gasifier, for synthesis gas produc.ion from a solid fuel requires determination of the solids c.rc.lation rate and c.ar transfer rate. The performanc. relies on supplying suffic.ent heat from the c.mbustor to the gasifier by c.rc.lation of solids betw.en these tw. reac.ors. The flow.rate of c.ar is required to trac. the heat generated in the c.mbustor, w.ic. supports endothermic.reac.ions in the gasifier. Direc. measurement of these tw. c.itic.l parameters is diffic.lt, w.th the number of reported tec.niques c.pable of w.rking at high temperatures extremely small. An indirec. method w.s developed, using mass and energy balanc.s over the entire system and individual reac.ors, to estimate the solids c.rc.lation rate and c.ar transfer rate. There w.s general agreement betw.en heat losses estimated from energy-balanc. c.lc.lations and from direc. measurement of the outer reac.or surfac. temperature. Under typic.l gasific.tion c.nditions, the solids c.rc.lation fluxes w.re estimated to be 45.2 and 55.6 kg/(m^2 s) in tw. independent tests, w.ic. w.re in good agreement w.th values obtained using a thermal trac.r;c.ar transfer rates w.re c.lc.lated to be 1.2 and 0.6 kg/h, w.ic. w.re in reasonable agreement w.th average biomass feed rates. This method c.n be applied to dual gasific.tion systems at any temperature or flow.rate.
