The cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrdinger equation (CQNLS) plays important parts in the optical fiber andthe nuclear *** using the homogeneous balance principle,the bell type,kink type,algebraic solitarywaves,and trigonometric traveling waves for the cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrdinger equation with variable coefficients(vCQNLS) are derived with the aid of a set of subsidiary high-order ordinary differential equations (sub-equations forshort).The method used in this paper might help one to derive the exact solutions for the other high-order nonlinearevolution equations,and shows the new application of the homogeneous balance principle.

There are abundant hydrothermal sedimentary structures and plant fragment fossils in the siliceous rocks from the Lincang Ge deposit. The major element compositions of these siliceous rocks are characterized by high content SiO2, low TiO2 and Al2O3concentrations, and low Al/(Al+Fe+Mn) ratios (0.01. on average). The siliceous rocks are distinctly enriched in Ge, Sb, As, W, and secondly enriched in Cs, U, Mo and Tl. Their total REE content are generally less than 1.g/g, LREE relatively concentrated, and the values of Eu anomaly and Ce anomaly vary from 0.452 to 5.1.1.and 0.997 to 1.1.4, respectively. Their NAS-normalized REE patterns are plain or left-inclined. The Oxygen isotope compositions of these siliceous rocks are similar to those of the hydrothermal siliceous sinter. The above characteristics, as well as the geological setting of the deposit, indicate these siliceous rocks formed in continental hydrothermal envi- ronment. As the interlayer or cliff of the Ge-rich coal seams, siliceous rocks tightly contacted with ore-body, and the contents of Ge in siliceous rocks vary from 5.6 to 360 μg/g (78 μg/g on aver- age). The Ge content increased in coal which close to the siliceous rocks. With the increase of Ge content, the typical trace element ratios (i.e., Ge/Ga, Nb/Ta and U/Th) and REE patterns of Ge-rich coal are more close to those of the siliceous rocks. The Ge concentrated in coal seams of the Lincang Ge deposit might be transported by the hydrothermal water, which demonstrated by the siliceous rocks, during the coal-forming processes.

The reference [4] proved the consistency of S1.and S2 among Lewis' five strict implication systems in the modal logic by using the method of the Boolean-valued model. But, in this method, the consistency of S3, S4 and S5 in Lewis' five strict implication systems is not decided. This paper makes use of the properties: (1. the equivalence of the modal systems S3 and P3, S4 and P4; (2) the modal systems P3 and P4 all contained the modal axiom T(□p → p); (3) the modal axiom T is correspondence to the reflexive property in VB. Hence, the paper proves: (a) ‖As31. = 1. (b) ‖AS41. = 1. (c) ‖AS5l‖ = 1.in the model(where B is a complete Boolean algebra, R is reflexive property in VB). Therefore, the paper finally proves that the Boolean-valued model VB of the ZFC axiom system in set theory is also a Boolean-valued model of Lewis' the strict implication system S3, S4 and S5.

Exploring efficient photocatalysts for solar driven CO_(2) reduction with water(H_(2)O)as a proton donor is highly imperative but remains a great challenge because the synchronous enhancement of CO_(2) activation,H_(2)O dissociation and proton transfer is hardly achieved on a ***,the sluggish H_(2)O dissociation impedes the photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction involving multiple proton–electron coupling transfer ***,a sulfur-doped BiOCl(S-BiOCl)photocatalyst with abundant oxygen vacancies(OV)is developed,which exhibits broadband-light harvesting across solar spectrum and distinct photothermal effect due to *** photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction with H_(2)O in a gas–solid system,the high CO yield of 49.76μmol·g_(cat)^(-1.·h^(-1. with 1.0%selectivity is achieved over the S-BiOCl catalyst under a simulated *** H_(2)O-assisted CO_(2) reduction reaction on S-BiOCl catalyst is triggered by photocatalysis and the photothermal heating further enhances the reaction *** kinetic isotope experiments indicate that the sluggish H_(2)O dissociation affects the whole photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction *** presence of oxygen vacancies promotes the adsorption and activation of H_(2)O and CO_(2),and the doped S sites play a crucial role in boosting H_(2)O dissociation and accelerating the dynamic migration of hydrogen *** a result,the ingenious integration of OV defects,S sites and photothermal effect in S-BiOCl catalyst conjointly contributes to the significant improvement in photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction performance.

Effects of water phase concentration on the emulsion polymerization of polyaniline

The emulsion polymerization of aniline in three phase system of xylene functionalized protonic acid water was carried out using (NH 4) 2S 2O 4 as oxidant. The influences of water phase concentration on the viscosity, conductivity, transmittance of polyaniline(PAN) latex and its powders were studied. The results show that the properties of PAN prepared through the emulsion polymerization are influenced by the amount of water used in the polymerization. The morphology of PAN varies with the water phase concentration used in the polymerization, which may result in the change of properties of PAN latex and its powders. When the volume fraction of water (φ) is about 20% 30%, the prepared PAN powder has higher conductivity, and the PAN latex has appropriate viscosity and particle size. The consumption of xylene was reduced at high φ value.

The effects of adding cosolvents of diglyme and 1.-crown-5 to the reaction mixture of Wurtz-type coupling of dichlorosilanes on the yield and relative molecular mass dispersity of polymethylphenethylsilane(PMPES) were discussed. The results show that addition of 1.%(volume ratio of diglyme to toluene) diglyme as a cosolvent to the reaction mixture leads to the yield increase of PMPES with a monomodal distribution of relative molecular masses. Adding 1.%diglyme to the reaction mixtures, the yields of polymethylcyclohexylsilane(PMCS) and copolymers (polymethylphenethylsilane-co-methylcyclohexylsilane), (the molar ratios of methylphenethyldichlorosilane to methylcyclohexyldichlorosilane were 2.0, 1.0 and 0.5, and the copolymers were abbreviated by Copolymers I, II, III, respectively) are 47%, 52%, 54%, 53%, respectively. Their relative molecular masses ([`(M)]w )(\bar M_w ) almost reach 1.5. These polysilanes were characterized by 1.-NMR, IR and UV absorption spectrum.

Vocal communication plays an important role in survival,reproduction,and animal social *** and mammals produce com-plex vocal sequence to convey context-dependent *** are conspicuous features of the behavior of most anuran species(frogs and toads),and males usually alter their calling strategies according to ecological context to improve the attractiveness/***,very few studies have focused on the variation of vocal sequence in *** the present study,we used both conventional method and network analysis to investigate the context-dependent vocal repertoire,vocal sequence,and call network structure in serrate-legged small treefrogs Kurixalus *** found that male *** modified their vocal sequence by switching to different call types and increasing repertoire size in the presence of a competitive ***,compared with before and after the playback of advertisement calls,males emited fewer advertisement calls,but more aggressive calls,encounter calls,and compound calls during the playback *** analysis revealed that the mean degree,mean closeness,and mean betweenness of the call networks significantly decreased during the playback period,which resulted in lower *** addition,the increased proportion of one-way motifs and average path length also indicated that the connectivity of the call network decreased in competitive ***,the vocal sequence of *** did not display a clear small-world network structure,regardless of *** study presents a paradigm to apply network analysis to vocal sequence in anurans and has important implications for understanding the evolution and function of sequence patterns.

As a common hyperglycemic disease,type 1.diabetes mellitus(T1.M)is a complicated disorder that requires a lifelong insulin supply due to the immunemediated destruction of pancreaticβ*** it is an organ-specific autoimmune disorder,T1.M is often associated with multiple other autoimmune *** most prevalent concomitant autoimmune disorder occurring in T1.M is autoimmune thyroid disease(AITD),which mainly exhibits two extremes of phenotypes:hyperthyroidism[Graves'disease(GD)]and hypothyroidism[Hashimoto's thyroiditis,(HT)].However,the presence of comorbid AITD may negatively affect metabolic management in T1.M patients and thereby may increase the risk for potential diabetes-related ***,routine screening of thyroid function has been recommended when T1.M is ***,first,we summarize current knowledge regarding the etiology and pathogenesis mechanisms of both ***,an updated review of the association between T1.M and AITD is ***,we provide a relatively detailed review focusing on the application of thyroid ultrasonography in diagnosing and managing HT and GD,suggesting its critical role in the timely and accurate diagnosis of AITD in T1.M.

Simulation of gas-solid flow characteristics of the circulating fluidized bed boiler under pure-oxygen combustion conditions

Under the pressure of carbon neutrality,many carbon capture,utilization and storage technologies have witnessed rapid development in the recent years,including oxy-fuel combustion(OFC)***,the conventional OFC technology usually depends on the flue gas recirculation system,which faces significant investment,high energy consumption,and potential low-temperature corrosion *** these deficiencies,the direct utilization of pure oxygen to achieve particle fluidization and fuel combustion may reduce the overall energy consumption and CO_(2)-capture *** this paper,the fundamental structure of a self-designed 1.0 t·h^(-1. pure-oxygen combustion circulating fluidized bed(CFB)boiler was provided,and the computational particle fluid dynamics method was used to analyze the gas-solid flow characteristics of this new-concept boiler under different working *** results indicate that through the careful selection of design or operational parameters,such as average bed-material size and fluidization velocity,the pure-oxygen combustion CFB system can maintain the ideal fluidization state,namely significant internal and external particle ***,the contraction section of the boiler leads to the particle backflow in the lower furnace,resulting in the particle suspension concentration near the wall region being higher than that in the center ***,the upper furnace still retains the classic core-annulus flow *** addition to increasing solid circulation rate by reducing the average bed-material size,altering primary gas ratio and bed inventory can also exert varying degrees of influence on the gas-solid flow characteristics of the pure-oxygen combustion CFB boiler.
