The microstructure and hydrogen absorption-desorption characteristic of(Ti0.85Zr0.15)1.1Cr1-xMoxMn(x = 0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2 at.%) alloys were *** results showed that the corresponding alloys were determined as a single phase of C14-type Laves *** the increase of Mo content,the maximum and reversible hydrogen absorption capacity decreased,the slope factor Hf *** the studied alloys,(Ti0.85Zr0.15)1.1Cr0.95Mo0.05Mn had the best overall properties for practical application of hydrogen storage *** maximum and reversible hydrogen storage capacity were 1.76 wt% and 1.09 wt%,the slope factor Hfwas 0.51,and its dissociation enthalpy(ΔHd) and entropy change(ΔSd) were 23.1 kJ mol-1H2,93.8 J K-1mol-1 H2at 303 K,*** studying the dissociation pressures of the synthesized metal hydrides,it was found that Mo had a special effect on the dissociation pressure of Ti-Zr-Cr-Mo-Mn *** the four alloys,(Ti0.85Zr0.15)1.1Cr0.95Mo0.05Mn alloy had the largest hydrogen absorption capacity and the fastest hydrogen desorption rate,which can meet the commercialization demand of hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply system.

Macrobenthic community structure in the Changjiang Estuary and its adjacent waters in summer

On the basis of data collected in the summer of 2006 from 27 sampling stations in the Changjiang Estuary and its adjacent waters, the ecological characteristics of macrobenthos and the relationship between the macrobenthos and the environmental factors were studied using hierarchical cluster and non-metric multidimensional scaling （MDS）. The biomass, abundance, Shannon -Wiener＇s and Margalef＇ s indices of the macrobenthos were presented. The results showed that a total of 253 macrobenthic species were found in the research region, and most of them belong to mollusks and polychaetes. The dominant species were Cossurella dimorpha, Eocylichna cylindrella, Episiphon kiaochowwanense, Nassarius semiplicatus, Ocstergrenia variabilis and Sternaspis scutata. The average abundance of the macrobenthos was （313. 15 ±233.4） ind./m^2, and the average biomass was （ 15. 2 ± 11.2 ）g/m^2. The distribution patterns of the abundance and biomass of the macrobenthos were similar. The abundance and biomass in the area close to the estuary were lower than those from the area more distant to the estuary; the central part of the research region had higher abundance and biomass than other parts of the research region. In accordance with the results, four macrobenthic communities with distinct spatial differences were identified. The low abundance and biomass in the area close to the estuary should be caused by the high sedimentation rate. The statistical analysis indicated that the depth is the most important factor affecting the distribution of macrobenthos.

A novel family of diarylethene (DTE)-phthalocyanine (Pc) dyad systems were designed and synthesized. It was found that the significant change in the extension of the linear π-conjugation of DTE when irradiated by 254 nm UV light directly made the absorption of the Q-band of phthalocyanine decrease. Detecting the absorption changes of the Q-band would not induce the reversible photochromic reaction. Therefore, non-destructive readout was feasible based on the spectral changes of the Q-band when such materials were used as storage media.

Simulated photo-degradation of fluorescent dissolved organic matter(FDOM) in Lake Baihua(BH) and Lake Hongfeng(HF) was investigated with three-dimensional excitationemission matrix(3 DEEM) fluorescence combined with the fluorescence regional integration(FRI),parallel factor(PARAFAC) analysis,and multi-order kinetic *** the FRI analysis,fulvic-like and humic-like materials were the main constituents for both BH-FDOM and *** individual components were identified by use of PARAFAC analysis as humic-like components(C1),fulvic-like components(C2),protein-like components(C3) and unidentified components(C4).The maximum 3 DEEM fluorescence intensity of PARAFAC components C1-C3 decreased by about 60%,70% and 90%,respectively after *** multi-order kinetic model was acceptable to represent the photo-degradation of FDOM with correlation coefficient(Radj2)(0.963-0.998).The photo-degradation rate constants(kn) showed differences of three orders of magnitude,from 1.09 × 10-6 to 4.02 × 10-4 min-1,and half-life of multi-order model(T1/2n)ranged from 5.26 to 64.01 *** decreased values of fluorescence index(FI) and biogenic index(BI),the fact that of percent fluorescence response parameter of Region I(PⅠ,n) showed the greatest change ratio,followed by percent fluorescence response parameter of Region II(PⅡ,n,while the largest decrease ratio was found for C3 components,and the lowest T1/2n was observed for C3,indicated preferential degradation of protein-like materials/components derived from biological sources during *** research on the degradation of FDOM by 3 DEEM/FRI-PARAFAC would be beneficial to understanding the photo-degradation of FD OM in natural environments and accurately predicting the environmental behaviors of contaminants in the presence of FDOM.

Halide perovskite nanocrystals are potential catalysts for CO_(2) photoreduction,while,the strong radiative recombination and insufficient stability limit their catalytic performance and ***,we report that layered double hydroxide nanosheets activate CsPbBr_(3) nanocrystals(CLDH)for enhanced photocatalytic CO_(2) *** CLDH heterojunctions show the remarkably enhanced CO_(2) photoreduction performance;without cocatalyst and sacrificial agent,the average electron consumption rate of CLDH(49.16μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1))is approximately 3.7 times higher than that of pristine CsPbBr_(3).Also,CLDH catalyst exhibits a robust stability after ten cycles over 30 h.

The efficient conversion of CO_(2) into hydrocarbon fuels(CH_(4))with high selectivity is considered as a great challenge in photocatalysis owing to the multiple-electron transfer pathway and competitive H_(2) ***,we developed carbon dots(CDs)-modulated S-scheme heterojunction of CDs/NiAl-LDH@In_(2)O_(3)(C-DH@IN)through a facile in-situ hydrothermal *** to the multi-shell nanotube structure,the C-DH@IN shows an enhanced CH_(4) evolution rate of 10.67μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)and higher selectivity of CH_(4)(85.70%)compared with In_(2)O_(3) and Ni Al-LDH@In_(2)O_(3) binary catalyst in the pure water without sacrificial *** spin resonance(ESR)and in situ Fourier transform infrared spectra verify that the constructed S-scheme heterojunction can possess the strong redox capability and the HCOOand CH_(3)O-as critical intermediates play an important role in selective CO_(2) reduction to generate CH_(4).Furthermore,CDs with superior photoabsorption can boost the electron transfer and absorb H^(+),thus improving the integration of H^(+)and CO_(2) ***,this work emphasizes a facile strategy to achieve efficient CO_(2)-to-CH_(4) conversion based on construction of CDs-based heterojunction catalysts.

Background Cold stress has negative effects on the growth and health of mammals, and has become a factor restricting livestock development at high latitudes and on plateaus. The gut-liver axis is central to energy metabolism, and the mechanisms by which it regulates host energy metabolism at cold temperatures have rarely been illustrated. In this study, we evaluated the status of glycolipid metabolism and oxidative stress in pigs based on the gut-liver axis and propose that AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK) is a key target for alleviating energy stress at cold temperatures by dietary fat *** Dietary fat supplementation alleviated the negative effects of cold temperatures on growth performance and digestive enzymes, while hormonal homeostasis was also restored. Moreover, cold temperature exposure increased glucose transport in the jejunum. In contrast, we observed abnormalities in lipid metabolism, which was characterized by the accumulation of bile acids in the ileum and plasma. In addition, the results of the ileal metabolomic analysis were consistent with the energy metabolism measurements in the jejunum, and dietary fat supplementation increased the activity of the mitochondrial respiratory chain and lipid metabolism. As the central nexus of energy metabolism, the state of glycolipid metabolism and oxidative stress in the liver are inconsistent with that in the small intestine. Specifically, we found that cold temperature exposure increased glucose transport in the liver, which fully validates the idea that hormones can act on the liver to regulate glucose output. Additionally, dietary fat supplementation inhibited glucose transport and glycolysis, but increased gluconeogenesis, bile acid cycling, and lipid metabolism. In this work, a series of Pt nanocrystallines（Pt NCs） supported on TiO2 substrate with controlled thickness of carbon layers（C-Pt/TiO2） were synthesized. Well-dispersed Pt NCs were facilely synthesized at room temperature by a photo-reduction process in lytropic liquid crystal（LCs）. Surface tuning of the carbon layers on Pt/TiO2 catalysts was achieved by varying the calcination atmospheres（in argon, air, and oxygen） and characterized by XPS and HRTEM. The influence of the coated carbon layers on the catalytic activity of catalysts is investigated by CO oxidation reaction which presented the following ranks： C-Pt/TiO2-O2〉 C-Pt/TiO2-Air 〉 C-Pt/TiO2-Ar. It is found that the carbon layer coating can stabilize the Pt NCs and enable them anti-sintering at high temperature. This finding provides new insight into understanding the C-Pt/TiO2 ternary system for tuning their catalytic performance.

China has a high incidence of gastric cancer. Secondary prevention of gastric cancer is a major public health problem that must be solved urgently. Modern medicine focuses on the pathogenesis of precancerous lesions of gastric cancer(PLGC), and it has been found that there are a variety of abnormal gene expression patterns in PLGC. This study summarizes recent advances in our understanding of the therapeutic mechanisms of PLGC from various clinical studies;this will provide a reference for studying the therapeutic mechanisms of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the treatment of PLGC from the combined points of view of Traditional Chinese and Conventional medicine.
