In this paper,the electromagnetic performance of variable flux memory(VFM)machines with series-magnetic-circuit is investigated and compared for different rotor *** on a V-type VFM machine,five topologies with different interior permanent magnet(IPM)arrangements are evolved and optimized under same *** on two-dimensional(2-D)finite element(FE)method,their electromagnetic performance at magnetization and demagnetization states is *** reveals that the iron bridge and rotor lamination region between constant PM(CPM)and variable PM(VPM)play an important role in torque density and flux regulation(FR)***,the global efficiency can be improved in VFM machines by adjusting magnetization state(MS)under different operating conditions.

Polaron dynamics in a system of highly ordered conjugated polymer chains is investigated based on the tight binding model. With the interchain coupling enhancing,it takes longer time for the electron added to the system to induce a localized polaron state. Beyond a certain strength of the interchain coupling,the electron evolves into a two-dimensional delocalized polaron state. Dynamical simulations suggest that the well-ordered organic molecule systems with two-dimensional polarons exhibit higher mobilities than the systems with intrachain localized polarons,as also suggested by earlier experiments.

The pore structural characteristics have been the key to the studies on the mechanisms of fluids flow in porous media. With the development of experimental technology, the modern high-resolution equipments are capable of capturing pore structure images with a resolution of microns. But so far only 3D volume data of millimeter-scale rock samples can be obtained losslessly. It is necessary to explore the way of virtually reconstructing larger volume digital samples of porous media with the representative structural characteristics of the pore space. This paper proposes a reconstruction method of porous media using the structural characteristics captured by the data templates of multiple-point geostatistics. In this method, the probability of each structural characteristic of a pore space is acquired first, and then these characteristics are reproduced according to the probabilities to present the real structural characteristics in the reconstructed images. Our experimental results have shown that: (i) the deviation of LBM computed permeability respectively on the virtually reconstructed sandstone and the original sample is less than 1.2%; (ii) the reconstructed sandstone and the original sample have similar structural characteristics demonstrated by the variogram curves.

Using the methods of dynamical systems for two generalized Boussinesq systems, the existence of all possible solitary wave solutions and many uncountably infinite periodic wave solutions is obtained. Exact explicit parametric representations of the travelling solutions are given. To guarantee the existence of the above solutions, all parameter conditions are determined.

AIM: To prepare a cancer vaccine (H(22)-DC) expressing high levels of costimulatory molecules based on fusions of hepatocarcinoma cells (H(22)) with dendritic cells (DC) of mice and to analyze the biological characteristics and induction of specific CTL activity of H(22)-DC. METHODS: DCs were isolated from murine spleen by metrizamide density gradient centrifugation, purified based on its characteristics of semi-adhesion to culture plates and FcR-,and were cultured in the medium containing GM-CSF and IL-4. A large number of DC were harvested. DCs were then fused with H(22) cells by PEG and the fusion cells were marked with CD11c MicroBeads. The H(22)-DC was sorted with Mimi MACS sorter. The techniques of cell culture, immunocytochemistry and light microscopy were also used to test the characteristics of growth and morphology of H(22)-DC in vitro. As the immunogen, H(22)-DC was inoculated subcutaneously into the right armpit of BALB/C mice, and their tumorigenicity in vivo was observed. MTT was used to test the CTL activity of murine spleen in vivo. RESULTS: DC cells isolated and generated were CD11c+ cells with irregular shape, and highly expressed CD80, CD86 and CD54 molecules. H22 cells were CD11c- cells with spherical shape and bigger volume, and did not express CD80, CD86 and CD54 molecules.H(22)-DC was CD11c+ cells with bigger volume, being spherical, flat or irregular in shape, and highly expressed CD80, CD86 and CD54 molecules, too. H(22)-DC was able to divide and proliferate in vitro, but its activity of proliferation was significantly decreased as compared with H(22) cells and its growth curve was flatter than H(22) cells. After subcutaneous inoculation over 60 days, H(22)-DC showed no tumorigenecity in mice, which was significantly different from control groups (P1). The spleen CTL activity against H(22) cells in mice implanted with fresh H(22)-DC was significantly higher than control groups (P 1). CONCLUSION: H(22)-DC could significantly st

This article is devoted to the study of high order accuracy difference methods tor the Cahn-rnmara equation. A three level linearized compact difference scheme is derived. The u^ique solvability and uaconditional convergence of the difference solution are proved. The convergence order is O（T2＋h4） in the maximum norm. The mass conservation and the non-increase of the total energy are also verified. Some numerical examples are given to demonstrate the theoretical results.
