In this work,particulate matter(PM) emissions from a large two-stroke,low-speed marine diesel engine were investigated when the engine was operated with low-sulfur heavy fuel oil(HFO) at various *** samples were collected in situ from the engine exhaust to determine the detailed physical and chemical *** nanostructure and morphology of the nanoparticles were analyzed using transmission electron microscopy images(TEM).The results show that volatile organic carbon(OC) accounts for more than 80% in the HFO particles and leads to an increase in particle *** thermodynamic conditions of a low-speed engine favor the behavior of capturing the soluble organic components.A large number of spherical char HFO particles with aerodynamic diameters of 0.2 μm-0.5 μm and a suspected inner metal core were *** two peak aerodynamic diameters of the HFO nanoparticles are 15 nm and 86 *** morphological differences among the HFO nanoparticles in varied engine conditions represent the formation process from primary nascent particles to mature graphitized particles caused by *** above study will be valuable for understanding the characteristics of PM emissions from low-sulfur HFO to achieve the ship PM emissions reduction target.

Changes in trace substances in human metabolites, which are related to disease processes and health status, can serve as chemical markers for disease diagnosis and symptom monitoring. Real-time online detection is an inevitable trend for the future of health monitoring, and the construction of chips for detection faces major challenges. The response of sensors often fails to meet the requirements for chipbased detection of trace substances due to the low efficiency of interfacial heterogeneous reactions, necessitating a rational design approach for micro-and nano-structures to improve sensor performance with respect to sensitivity and detection limits. This review focuses on the influence of micro-and nanostructures that used in chip on sensing. Firstly, this review categorizes sensors into chemiresistors, electrochemical sensors, fluorescence sensors, and surface enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) sensors based on their sensing principle, which have significant applications in disease diagnosis. Subsequently, commencing from the application requirements in the field of sensing, this review focuses on the different structures of nanoparticle(NP) assemblies, including wire, layered, core-shell, hollow, concave and deformable structures. These structures change in the size, shape, and morphology of conventional structures to achieve characteristics such as ordered alignment, high specific surface area, space limitation,vertical diffusion, and swaying behavior with fluid, thereby addressing issues such as poor signal transmission efficiency, inadequate adsorption and capture capacity, and slow mass transfer speed during sensing. Finally, the design direction of micro-and nano-structures, and possible obstacles and solutions to promote chip-based detection have been discussed. It is hope that this article will inspire the exploration of interface micro-and nano-structures modulated sensing methods.

The ocean is one of the essential fields of national defense in the future,and more and more attention is paid to the lightweight research of Marine equipment and *** study it is to develop a Machine learning(ML)-based prediction method to study the evolution of the mechanical properties of Al-li alloys in the marine *** obtained the mechanical properties of Al-li alloy samples under uniaxial tensile deformation at different exposure times through Marine exposure *** obtained the strain evolution by digital image correlation(DIC).The strain field images are voxelized using 2D-Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)autoencoders as input data for Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)neural ***,the output data of LSTM neural networks combined with corrosion features were input into the Back Propagation(BP)neural network to predict the mechanical properties of Al-li *** main conclusions are as follows:*** variation law of mechanical properties of2297-T8 in the Marine atmosphere is *** the increase in outdoor exposure test time,the tensile elastic model of 2297-T8 changes slowly,within 10%,and the tensile yield stress changes significantly,with a maximum attenuation of 23.6%.*** prediction model can predict the strain evolution and mechanical response simultaneously with an error of less than 5%.*** study shows that a CNN/LSTM system based on machine learning can be built to capture the corrosion characteristics of Marine exposure *** results show that the relationship between corrosion characteristics and mechanical response can be predicted without considering the microstructure evolution of metal materials.

A Parameter Adaptive Method for Image Smoothing

Edge is the key information in the process of image smoothing. Some edges, especially the weak edges, are difficult to maintain, which result in the local area being over-smoothed. For the protection of weak edges, we propose an image smoothing algorithm based on global sparse structure and parameter adaptation. The algorithm decomposes the image into high frequency and low frequency part based on global sparse structure. The low frequency part contains less texture information which is relatively easy to smoothen. The high frequency part is more sensitive to edge information so it is more suitable for the selection of smoothing parameters. To reduce the computational complexity and improve the effect, we propose a bicubic polynomial fitting method to fit all the sample values into a surface. Finally, we use Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM) to unify the whole algorithm and obtain the smoothed results by iterative optimization. Compared with traditional methods and deep learning methods, as well as the application tasks of edge extraction, image abstraction, pseudo-boundary removal, and image enhancement, it shows that our algorithm can preserve the local weak edge of the image more effectively, and the visual effect of smoothed results is better.

Background Renal transplantation in sensitized candidates remains a highly significant challenge worldwide. The production of panel reactive antibody （PRA） against human leukocyte antigen （HLA） is a major risk factor in presensitized recipients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of HLA matching and recipients＇ PRA on two-year outcome in presensitized renal allograft recipients. Methods We determined the percentage of panel reactivity and specificity of anti-HLA immunoglobulin （Ig） G antibodies in 73 presensitized renal allograft recipients compared with 81 unsensitized recipients （control group）. HLA genotyping of both recipients and corresponding donors was performed by PCR with sequence-specific primers （PCR-SSP）. We analyzed the factors influencing the early graft outcome （two-year rejection rates and survival rates of the grafts）, including HLA mismatching, class and degree of panel reactivity, and target antigen of donors. Results Presensitized recipients had a worse two-year outcome than unsensitized recipients （P=0.019 for rejection rate, P=0.01 for survival rate）. The difference in number of HLA-mismatched alleles with either 6-antigen matching （Ag M） standard or amino acid residue matching （Res M） standard was not significant between the rejection and non-rejection groups of presensitized recipients or between the graft survival group and graft loss group. Compared with the control group, recipients with both PRA-I and PRA-II antibodies had a significantly worse two-year outcome （P=0.001 for rejection rate, P=0.002 for survival rate）. The two-year outcomes of the peak PRA 〉50% group and its subgroup, at-transplant PRA 〉50% group, were significantly worse compared with the control group （P=0.025 and P=0.001 for rejection rate, P=0.043 and P=0.024 for survival rate）. Accurately predicting stock returns is a conundrum in financial *** this conundrum can bring huge economic benefits for investors and also attract the attention of all circles of *** this paper the authors combine semi-varying coefficient model with technical analysis and statistical learning,and propose semi-varying coefficient panel data model with individual effects to explore the dynamic relations between the stock returns from five companies:CVX,DFS,EMN,LYB,and MET and five technical indicators:CCI,EMV,MOM,ln ATR,ln RSI as well as closing price(ln CP),combine semi-parametric fixed effects estimator,semi-parametric random effects estimator with the testing procedure to distinguish fixed effects(FE) from random effects(RE),and finally apply the estimated dynamic relations and the testing set to predict stock returns in December 2020 for the five *** proposed method can accommodate the varying relationship and the interactive relationship between the different technical indicators,and further enhance the prediction accuracy to stock returns.

A unique feature of non-Hermitian systems is the extreme sensitivity of the eigenspectrum to boundary conditions with the emergence of the non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE). A NHSE originates from the point-gap topology of complex eigenspectrum, where an extensive number of eigenstates are anomalously localized at the boundary driven by nonreciprocal dissipation. Two different approaches to create localization are disorder and flat-band spectrum, and their interplay can lead to the anomalous inverse Anderson localization, where the Bernoulli anti-symmetric disorder induces mobility in a full-flat band system in the presence of Aharonov−Bohm (AB) Cage. In this work, we study the localization−delocalization transitions due to the interplay of the point-gap topology, flat band and correlated disorder in the one-dimensional rhombic lattice, where both its Hermitian and non-Hermitian structures show AB cage in the presence of magnetic flux. Although it remains the coexistence of localization and delocalization for the Hermitian rhombic lattice in the presence of the random anti-symmetric disorder, it surprisingly becomes complete delocalization, accompanied by the emergence of NHSE. To further study the effects from the Bernoulli anti-symmetric disorder, we found the similar NHSE due to the interplay of the point-gap topology, correlated disorder and flat bands. Our anomalous localization−delocalization property can be experimentally tested in the classical physical platform, such as electrical circuit.

Mythimna separata is a notorious phytophagous pest which poses serious threats to cereal crops owing to the gluttony of the *** short neuropeptide F(sNPF)and its receptor sNPFR are involved in a diversity of physiological functions,especially in functions related to feeding in insects,it is a molecular target for pest ***,an sNPF and 2 sNPFRs were identified and cloned from *** analysis revealed that the sNPF and its receptors had a highly conserved RLRFamide C-terminus and 7 transmembrane domains,*** sNPF and its receptor genes were distributed across larval periods and tissues,but 2 receptors had distinct expression *** starvation-induced assay elucidated that sNPF and sNPFR expression levels were downregulated under food deprivation and recovered with subsequent *** interference knockdown of sNPF,sNPFR1,and sNPFR2 by injection of double-stranded RNA into larvae not only suppressed food consumption and increased body size and weight,but also led to decrease of glycogen and total lipid contents,and increase of trehalose compared with double-stranded green fluorescent protein ***,molecular docking was performed on the interaction mode between sNPFR protein and its ligand sNPF based on the 3-dimensional models constructed by AlphaFold;the results indicated that both receptors were presumably activated by the mature peptide *** results revealed that sNPF signaling played a considerably vital role in the feeding regulation of *** and represents a potential control target for this pest.
