Distributed Reduced-order Optimal Fusion Kalman Filters for Stochastic Singular Systems

Based on the optimal fusion algorithm weighted by matrices in the linear minimum variance (LMV) sense, a distributed full-order optimal fusion Kalman filter (DFFKF) is given for discrete-time stochastic singular systems with multiple sensors, which involves the inverse of a high-dimension matrix to compute matrix weights. To reduce the computational burden, a distributed reduced-order fusion Kalman filter (DRFKF) is presented, which involves in parallel the inverses of two relatively low-dimension matrices to compute matrix weights. A simulation example shows the effectiveness.

During the climatic fluctuations in the late Late Pleistocene, hominins in China had experienced some significant changes and adaptations in terms of subsistence strategies. Based on the zooarchaeological analyses of the faunal remains from the shuidougou site of North China and the Ma'anshan site of South China, the present study demonstratively indicates that the broad-spectrum diet and its closely-related resource intensification for hominins were already at their places roughly at 33–35 cal ka BP. Compared to hominins of earlier period, who would have preferentially exploited large and medium-sized ungulates, hunter-gathers at later period had otherwise incorporated more small-sized animals(especially the quick ones, such as birds and hares) into their diet. Meanwhile, hominins of the later time had also greatly accelerated extractions and exploitations of the nutritional yields from the large and medium-sized animals. However, it seems clear from the current study that there was significant difference regarding the potential mechanisms for the broad-spectrum adaptations of hominins in the late Late Pleistocene of China.

Two hydrazone ligands （E）-N＇-（2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylidene）-2-hydroxybenzo- hydrazide （HLa） and （E）-N＇-（3,5-dichloro-2- hydroxybenzylidene）-4-methoxybenzohydrazide （HLb） were prepared and characterized by IR, UV-Vis and 1H NMR spectra. Based on the hydrazone ligands, two new structurally similar vanadium（V） complexes, [VOLaL].CH3OH （1） and [vOLbL] （2）, where L is the monoanionic form of benzohydroxamic acid （HL）, were prepared and characterized by IR and UV-Vis spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes as the monoclinic space group P21/n, with a = 7.5208（10）, b = 15.490（2）, c = 20.8929（18） A, β = 96.373（2）°, V = 2418.9（5） A3, Z = 4, R = 0.0831, wR = 0.2607 and GOOF = 1.061. Complex 2 crystallizes as the monoclinic space group P21/c, with a = 11.8577（18）, b = 16.468（2）, c = 12.2288（18） A, β = 106.064（2）°, V= 2294.7（6） A3, Z = 4, R= 0.0741, wR= 0.1745 and GOOF= 1.014. X-ray analysis indicates that the complexes are mononuclear vanadium （V） species, with the V atoms located in the octahedral coordination. The hydrazone ligands and the complexes were evaluated for their antibacterial （Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas fluorescence） and antifungal （Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger） activities by MTT （3-（4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl）-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide） method.

We present a systematic analysis for influence of phaseφon collisions of dissipative solitons,using the cubic-quintic complex Ginzburg-Landau equation in the absence of *** generic outcomes are revealed upon the variation of gain/loss:merger of the two solitons into a single one;quasi-elastic interactions;creation of an extra soliton;and dissipation of the two solitons for *** velocities of the merger-soliton and the extra soliton can be effectively controlled by relative *** above features have potential applications in optical switching and logic gates based on interaction of optical solitons.

Two new heterobimetallic coordination polymers{[Co(NiL)(H2O)3]·4H2O}n(1)and{[Cu(NiL)(H2O)3]·4H2O}n(2)were synthesized based on metalloligand under the same self-assembly conditions.X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that the two compounds involve close-packed zigzag chains,which expand into various three-dimensional supramolecular frameworks through the second interactions such as hydrogen bonds andπ···πstacking *** these two compounds,NiL as a bridging ligand chelates the metal ion nodes via two oxamido carbonyls and carboxylate oxygen *** central Co(Ⅱ)and Cu(Ⅱ)ions in 1 and 2 both exhibit distorted octahedral coordination *** are bridged by macrocyclic oxamido metalloligands fusing the zigzag chains with a‘‘head-to-tail’’*** Ni(Ⅱ)ion in metalloligand is coordinated by four nitrogen atoms with the[NiN4]chromophore exhibiting distorted *** two investigated compounds were further characterized by thermogravimetric analysis and FT-IR *** fluorescent properties of 1 and 2 in the solid state were also investigated.

Cochlear implantation effect on deaf children with gap junction protein beta 2 gene mutation

Background The popularization and promotion of gene diagnosis technology makes it possible to detect deafness genes for children with congenital hearing impairment, and the proportion of gap junction protein beta 2 （GJB2） gene mutations in cochlear implant patients is 26.5%. We did follow-up evaluation on auditory rehabilitation effect for all 31 deaf children with GJB2 gene mutation after cochlear implantation to provide a reference for such patients. Methods Application of ＂the genetic deafness gene chip detection kit＂ and ＂gene complete sequence analysis＂ were applied to conduct detection on common genetic deafness gene mutation hotspots of the hearing impaired children with cochlear implantation. To conduct auditory rehabilitation effect evaluation on all 31 cases of patients with GJB2 genetic deafness after 3, 6 and 12 months of the operation respectively. The single factor repeated measure analysis of variance （ANOVA） was applied to analysis whether there were significant difference among the results of initial consonant of a Chinese syllable recognition at 3 different stages after the operation, the results of vowel of a Chinese syllable recognition at 3 different stages after the operation, and the results of two-syllable recognition at 3 different stages after the operation. Results The 235delC is the high-incidence mutational site in 31 cases of patients with GJB2 genetic deafness, and the total detection rate is up to 90.3% （28/31）. There were significant differences in the initial consonant and the vowel of a Chinese syllable recognition rate, and the two-syllable recognition rates at 3, 6, and 12 months after the operation （P 〈0.01）. Conclusion Cochlear implantation is a safe and effective measure for auditory reconstruction, enabling patients with GJB2 hereditary severe sensorineural deafness to achieve auditory speech recognition effectively.

The variation law of inclusions type and size in the vacuum induction melting process and ingot of Ni-based superalloy containing 70%return material was studied by industrial test sampling,and the mechanism of inclusions formation was analyzed with thermodynamic *** results show that there are mainly two types of composite inclusions in the vacuum induction melting of Ni-based superalloys,which are nitride-and oxide-based composite inclusions,like Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-Cr_(2)O_(3),TiN-(Mo,Nb)C,*** type and proportion of inclusions from the center to the edge of the vacuum induction ingot did not change *** number density of inclusions from the center to the edge of the ingot varied less,and the size of inclusions became smaller from the center to the *** addition,thermodynamic calculations show that oxides(M_(2)O_(3))are present in the liquid phase and mainly contain Al,Ti,Cr,Fe and O *** nitride consists mainly of Ti and N and contains small amounts of Cr,C,Nb,and Mo *** is consistent with the results of industrial *** the temperature decreases,the precipitation phases such as M_(2)O_(3),MN,γ,MC,δ,γ'andμphases are gradually precipitated,where oxides and nitrides are present in the liquid *** contents of O and N elements are the main influencing factors for the inclusions content and precipitation temperature;when the nitrogen content is reduced to below 0.0015%,it can make MN precipitate below the liquid-phase line.
