The selective oxidation of methane under mild conditions remains the“Holy Grail of Catalysis”.The key to activating methane and inhibiting over-oxidation of target oxygenates lies in designing active *** nanoparticles were loaded onto TiO_(2) nanofibers using the photo-deposition *** resulting catalysts were found to effectively convert methane into C1 oxygenated products under mild *** with previously reported catalysts,it delivers a superior performance of up to 2510.7 mmol·g_(Cu)^(-1)·h^(-1) productivity with a selectivity of around 100%at 80℃for 5 *** characterizations and density functional theory(DFT)calculations indicate that TiO_(2) in the mixed phase of anatase and rutile significantly increases the Cu^(+)/CuO ratio of the supported Cu species,and this ratio is linearly related to the formation rate of oxygen-containing *** CuI site promotes the generation of active O species from H_(2)O_(2) dissociation on Cu_(2)O(111).These active O species reduce the energy barrier for breaking the C-H bond of CH_(4),thus boosting the catalytic *** methane conversion mechanism was proposed as a methyl radical pathway to form CH_(3)OH and CH_(3)OOH,and then the generated CH_(3)OH is further oxidized to HOCH_(2)OOH.

Background:Climate change profoundly shapes the population health at the global ***,there was still insufficient and inconsistent evidence for the association between heat exposure and chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods:In the present study,we studied the association of heat exposure with hospitalizations for cause-specific CKD using a national inpatient database in China during the study period of hot season from 2015 to *** time-series regression models and random-effects Meta-analysis were developed to estimate the city-specific and national averaged associations at a 7 lag-day span,***:A total of 768,129 hospitalizations for CKD was recorded during the study *** results showed that higher temperature was associated with elevated risk of hospitalizations for CKD,especially in sub-tropical *** a 1℃ increase in daily mean temperature,the cumulative relative risks(RR)over lag 0-7 d were 1.008[95% confidence interval(CI)1.003-1.012]for *** attributable fraction of CKD hospitalizations due to high temperatures was 5.50%.Stronger associations were observed among younger patients and those with obstructive *** study also found that exposure to heatwaves was associated with added risk of hospitalizations for CKD compared to non-heatwave days(RR=1.116,95%CI 1.069-1.166)above the effect of daily mean ***:Short-term heat exposure may increase the risk of hospitalization for *** findings provide insights into the health effects of climate change and suggest the necessity of guided protection strategies against the adverse effects of high temperatures.

High Mountain Asia(HMA)shows a remarkable warming tendency and divergent trend of regional precipitation with enhanced meteorological *** rapid thawing of the HMA cryosphere may alter the magnitude and frequency of nature *** reviewed the influence of climate change on various types of nature hazards in HMA region,including their phenomena,mechanisms and *** reveals that:1)the occurrences of extreme rainfall,heavy snowfall,and drifting snow hazards are escalating;accelerated ice and snow melting have advanced the onset and increased the magnitude of snowmelt floods;2)due to elevating trigger factors,such as glacier debuttressing and the rapid shift of thermal and hydrological regime of bedrock/snow/ice interface or subsurface,the mass flow hazards including bedrock landslide,snow avalanche,ice-rock avalanches or glacier detachment,and debris flow will become more severe;3)increased active-layer detachment and retrogressive thaw slumps slope failures,thaw settlement and thermokarst lake will damage many important engineering structures and infrastructure in permafrost region;4)multi-hazards cascading hazard in HMA,such as the glacial lake outburst flood(GLOF)and avalanche-induced mass flow may greatly enlarge the destructive power of the primary hazard by amplifying its volume,mobility,and impact force;and 5)enhanced slope instability and sediment supply in the highland areas could impose remote catastrophic impacts upon lowland regions,and threat hydropower security and future water *** future,ongoing thawing of HMA will profoundly weaken the multiple-phase material of bedrock,ice,water,and soil,and enhance activities of nature *** and cascading hazards of high magnitude will prevail in *** the glacier runoff overpasses the peak water,low flow or droughts in lowland areas downstream of glacierized mountain regions will became more frequent and *** escalating hazards in the HMA region requires tackling s

The intracellular lipids in muscle cells of farm animals play a crucial role in determining the overall intramuscular fat(IMF)content,which has a positive impact on meat ***,the mechanisms underlying the deposition of lipids in muscle cells of farm animals are not yet fully *** purpose of this study was to determine the roles of carbohydrate-response element binding protein(ChREBP)and fructose in IMF deposition of *** virus-mediated ChREBP overexpression in tibialis anterior(TA)muscle of chickens,seven 5-d-old male yellow-feather chickens were *** 10 d after virus injection,the chickens were slaughtered to obtain TA muscles for *** fructose administration trial,sixty 9-wk-old male yellow-feather chickens were randomly divided into 2 groups,with 6 replicates per group and 5 chickens per *** chickens were fed either a basal diet or a basal diet supplemented with 10%fructose(purity≥99%).At 4 wk later,the chickens were slaughtered,and breast and thigh muscles were collected for *** results showed that the skeletal ChREBP mRNA levels were positively associated with IMF content in multiple species,including the chickens,pigs,and mice(Plipid accumulation in both muscle cells in vitro and the TA muscles of mice and chickens in vivo(Plipogenesis(DNL)***,activation of ChREBP by dietary fructose administration also resulted in increased IMF content in mice and notably chickens(Plipidomics analysis revealed that ChREBP activation altered the lipid composition of chicken IMF and tented to improve the flavor profile of the *** conclusion,this study found that ChREBP plays a pivotal role in mediating the deposition of fat in chicken muscles in response to fructose-rich diets,which provides a novel strategy for improving meat quality in the livestock industry.

Metal phthalocyanines(MPcs) have gained considerable research attention as hole-transport materials(HTMs) in perovskite solar cells(PSCs) because of their superb stability. However, the photovoltaic performance of MPc-based HTMs in PSCs is still lagging behind their small molecule and polymeric counterparts, largely due to their relatively low hole mobility. Here, we report for the first time the application of a copper naphthalocyanine derivative(namely t Bu-Cu Nc) as a hole-transport material(HTM)in perovskite solar cells(PSCs), and systematically study its optoelectronic and photovoltaic property compared with its Cu Pc analog(t Bu-Cu Pc). Combined experiments disclose that the extension of π-conjugation from Pc to Nc core leads to not only an enhanced hole-carrier mobility associated with a stronger intermolecular interaction, but also an elevated glass transition temperature(T_g) of 252 °C. The resultant PSCs employing t Bu-Cu Nc deliver an excellent power conversion efficiency of 24.03%, which is the record efficiency reported for metal complex-based HTMs in PSCs. More importantly, the encapsulated t Bu-Cu Nc-based devices also show dramatically improved thermal stability than the devices using the well-known SpiroOMe TAD, with a T_(80)lifetime for more than 1,000 h under damp-heat stress. This study unfolds a new avenue for developing efficient and stable HTMs in PSCs.

Seed vigor is a crucial trait for the direct seeding of *** we examined the genetic regulation of seed vigor traits in rice,including germination index(GI)and germination potential(GP),using a genome-wide association study *** major quantitative trait locus,qGI6/qGP6,was identified simultaneously for both GI and *** candidate gene encoding the cytochrome c oxidase subunit 5B(OsCOX5B)was validated for qGI6/*** disruption of OsCOX5B caused the vigor traits to be significantly lower in Oscox5b mutants than in the japonica Nipponbare wild type(WT).Gene co-expression analysis revealed that OsCOX5B influences seed vigor mainly by modulating the tricarboxylic acid cycle *** glucose levels were significantly higher while the pyruvic acid and adenosine triphosphate levels were significantly lower in Oscox5b mutants than in WT during seed *** elite haplotype of OsCOX5B facilitates seed vigor by increasing its expression during seed ***,we propose that OsCOX5B is a potential target for the breeding of rice varieties with enhanced seed vigor for direct seeding.

Background and Aims:SARS-CoV-2 vaccines-associated autoimmune liver diseases have been reported in several case ***,the safety and immunogenicity after primary and booster inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in patients with autoimmune liver diseases(AILD)is still ***:Eighty-four patients with AILD were prospectively followed up after the second dose(primary)of inactivated SARS-CoV-2 *** of them received the third dose(booster)of inactivated *** events(AEs),autoimmune activation,and liver inflammation exacerbation after primary and booster vaccination were ***,dynamics of antireceptor-binding-domain IgG(anti-RBD-IgG),neutralizing antibodies(NAbs)and RBD-specific B cells responses were ***:The overall AEs in AILD patients after primary and booster vaccination were 26.2%and 13.3%,*** decrease of C3 level and increase of immunoglobulin light chain K andλlevels were observed in AILD patients after primary vaccination,however,liver inflammation was not exacerbated,even after booster *** the seroprevalence and titers of anti-RBD-IgG and NAbs were decreased over time in AILD patients after primary ***,the antibody titers were significantly elevated after booster vaccination(10-fold in anti-RBD-IgG and 7.4-fold in NAbs,respectively),which was as high as in healthy ***,the inferior antibody response was not enhanced after booster vaccination in patients with *** of atypical memory B cells were inversely related to antibody levels,which indicate that the impaired immune memory was partially restored partly by the booster ***:The well tolerability and enhanced humoral immune response of inactivated vaccine supports an additional booster vaccination in AILD patients without immunosuppressants.

The temperature and moisture of the pavement structure can be greatly influenced by the wind speed above pavement *** wind speed above pavement surface not only is dominated by the wind speed of atmosphere,but also it is highly related to the landform and buildings around ***,currently there are no studies about the wind field above pavement surface in consideration of the effect of the landform and buildings.A simulation method,which is combined with geographic information system(GIS),wind data from meteorological observatory and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)software,is employed to study the effect of the landform and the wind speed of atmosphere on the wind field above pavement *** cases are studied,including an urban road,a coastal road and a mountainous ***,the wind field distribution above road surface in different wind directions was studied in our *** indicate that the wind field above pavement surface can be greatly affected by the landforms,buildings and wind *** simulation method can provide reliable results for the wind field above pavement *** maximum relative errors between simulated and measured wind speed can be less than 20%in the analysis of the three *** is recommended that the CFD simulation method is a good tool to accurately know the wind field above pavement surface.

Composite structures consisting of two-dimensional(2D)materials deposited on elastic substrates have a wide range of potential applications in flexible *** such devices,robust 2D film/substrate interfacial adhesion is essential for their reliable performance when subjected to external thermal and mechanical *** better understand the strength and failure behavior of the 2D film/substrate interfaces,two types of graphene/polymer samples with distinct interfacial adhesion properties are fabricated and tested by uniaxially stretching the *** on the interfacial adhesion,two drastically different debonding rates are observed,i.e.,rapid snap-through debonding and more progressive crack *** by the experimental observation,we propose an improved shear-lag model with a trapezoidal-shaped cohesive zone to derive an analytical solution for the decohesion *** theoretical model reveals that the decohesion behavior of the frictional adhesive interface is governed by three dimensionless ***,the dimensionless length of the film essentially determines the decohesion rate;while the other two parameters affect the critical substrate strain to initiate *** fitting the experimental data with the theoretical model,the intrinsic adhesion properties of the two samples are obtained with physically meaningful *** work offers an analytical solution to describing the decohesion behavior of general thin film/substrate systems with a frictional adhesive interface,which is beneficial for characterizing and optimizing the mechanical properties of various thin film/polymer devices.
