Aging Precipitation Behavior of 18Cr-16Mn-2Mo-1.1N High Nitrogen Austenitic Stainless Steel and Its Influences on Mechanical Properties

The solution-treated (ST) condition and aging precipitation behavior of 18Cr-16Mn-2Mo-1.1N high nitrogen austenitic stainless steel (HNS) were investigated by optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results show that the ST condition of 18Cr-16Mn-2Mo-1.1N HNS with wN above 1% is identified as 1100 ℃ for 90 min, followed by water quenching to make sure the secondary phases completely dissolve into austenitic matrix and prevent the grains coarsening too much. Initial time-temperature-precipitation (TTP) curve of aged 18Cr-16Mn-2Mo-1.1N HNS which starts with precipitation of 0.05% in volume fraction is defined and the 'nose' temperature of precipitation is found to be 850 ℃ with an incubation period of 1 min. Hexagonal intergranular and cellular Cr2N with a=0.478 nm and c=0.444 nm precipitates gradually increase in the isothermal aging treatment. The matrix nitrogen depletion due to the intergranular and a few cellular Cr2N precipitates induces the decay of Vickers hardness, and the increment of cellular Cr2N causes the increase in the values. Impact toughness presents a monotonic decrease and SEM morphologies show the leading brittle intergranular fracture. The ultimate tensile strength (UTS), yield strength (YS) and elongation (El) deteriorate obviously. Stress concentration occurs when the matrix dislocations pile up at the interfaces of precipitation and matrix, and the interfacial dislocations may become precursors to the misfit dislocations, which can form small cleavage facets and accelerate the formation of cracks.

MDCFS: few-shot object detection with multilevel decoupled classifiers

Few-shot object detection poses unique challenges as it requires effectively learning novel classes with limited labeled data. Current approaches often suffer from biases towards base classes during fine-tuning， leading to suboptimal performance on detecting novel classes. Additionally， in complex scenes， the confusion between foreground and background objects further affects the accuracy and robustness of the model. To address these issues， we propose the Multilevel Decoupling Classification Few-Shot Algorithm (MDCFS). we decouple the standard classifier into a parallel foreground classifier and a background classifier in the Few-Shot Object Detection (FSOD) setting. This decoupling enables the independent separation of positive samples from noisy negative samples， alleviating the foreground-background confusion problem commonly encountered in few-shot detectors. For Generalized Few-Shot Object Detection (G-FSOD)， where the few-shot dataset contains base classes， we further decouple the foreground classification head into a base class classification head and a novel class classification head. To ensure balance， we assign more weight to the novel class classification head， effectively addressing the bias towards base classes. Furthermore， we optimize the initial weights of the few-shot fine-tuning stage， significantly reducing training time and mitigating catastrophic forgetting in G-FSOD. Additionally， we incorporate metric learning into our model with minimal cost. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach. Compared to state-of-the-art few-shot object detection methods based on fine-tuning， MDCFS achieves performance improvements of up to 6.3% on the PASCAL VOC dataset and 1.5% on the COCO dataset.

Metal nanoparticles decorated CoFe-(oxy)hydroxysulfides nanosheets fabricated by a general strategy for electrocatalytic water splitting

This study presents a novel method to fabricate metal-decorated,sulfur-doped layered double hydroxides （M/SLDH） through spontaneous redox and sulfurization *** developed Ag/SLDH and Pt/SLDH catalysts with abundant heterogeneous interfaces and hierarchical nanostructures demonstrated outstanding oxygen evolution reaction （OER） and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） performance,achieving low overpotentials of 212 and 35 mV at 10 ma cm-2in 1 M KOH,*** both anode and cathode in water splitting,they required only 1.47 V to reach 10 ma cm-2and exhibited high structural robustness,maintaining stability at 1000 ma cm-2for 300 ***-situ Raman analysis revealed that the synergistic effects of metal nanoparticles and S doping significantly promote the transformation into the S-Co1-xFexOOH layer,which serves as the active phase for water ***,ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy （UPS） and density functional theory （DFT） analyses indicated that incorporating metal nanoparticles and S doping increase electron density near the Fermi level and reduce reaction energy barriers,thus enhancing intrinsic OER and HER *** study provides a scalable strategy for synthesizing high-performance electrocatalysts for water splitting,with promising potential for broader applications.

Mixed matrix membranes(MMMs)have demonstrated significant promise in energy-intensive gas separations by amalgamating the unique properties of fillers with the facile processability of ***,achieving a simultaneous enhancement of permeability and selectivity remains a formidable challenge,due to the difficulty of achieving an optimal match between polymers and *** this study,we incorporate a porous carbon-based zinc oxide composite(C@ZnO)into high-permeability polymers of intrinsic microporosity(PIMs)to fabricate *** dipole–dipole interaction between C@ZnO and PIMs ensures their exceptional compatibility,mitigating the formation of non-selective voids in the resulting ***,C@ZnO with abundant interconnected pores can provide additional low-resistance pathways for gas transport in *** a result,the CO_(2) permeability of the optimized C@ZnO/PIM-1 MMMs is elevated to 13,215 barrer,while the CO_(2)/N_(2) and CO_(2)/CH4 selectivity reached 21.5 and 14.4,respectively,substantially surpassing the 2008 Robeson upper ***,molecular simulation results further corroborate that the augmented membrane gas selectivity is attributed to the superior CO_(2) affinity of C@*** summary,we believe that this work not only expands the application of MMMs for gas separation but also heralds a paradigm shift in the application of porous carbon materials.

The microstructural evolution of 18Crl 8Mn2Mo0.77N high nitrogen austenitic stainless steel in aging treatment was investigated by optical microscopy （OM）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. The results show that hexagonal intergranular and cellular Cr2N with a=0.478 nm and c=0.444 nm and body-centered cubic intermetaUic X phase with a=0.892 nm precipitate gradually in the isothermal aging treatment. The matrix nitrogen depletion due to the intergranular Cr2N precipitation induces the decay of Vickers hardness, and the formation of cellular Cr2N and X phase causes the increase in the values. The impact toughness presents a monotonic decrease and SEM morphologies show the leading brittle intergranular fracture. The tensile strength and elongation deteriorate obviously except for the sample aged for 1 h in yield strength. Stress concentration occurs when the matrix dislocations pile up at the pre- cipitation and matrix interfaces, and the interracial dislocations may become precursors to the misfit dislocations, which can form small cleavage steps and accelerate the formation of cracks.

Effects of yttrium and zirconium additions on inclusions and mechanical properties of a reduced activation ferritic/martensitic steel

The effects of two alloying elements,i.e.,yttrium(Y)and zirconium(Zr),on the inclusion,microstructure,tensile property and impact toughness of reduced activation ferritic/martensitic(RAFM)steel are *** size and number of particles were determined by optical microscopy,and the particle types were examined by scanning electron *** size of?20% and?85% of the inclusions lied in the range of 0.5-1.0μm and 0.5-3.0μm,*** Y-and Y-Zr-containing specimens,the density of the fine inclusions,with a size less than 0.5μm,was found to be 1.06×10^17 and 9.82×10^16 m^-*** specimens were normalized at 1323 K for 30 min and tempered at 923 and 1023 K for 90 min,resulting in the formation of tempered martensite with M23C6 carbides and MX ***-containing RAFM steel tempered at 923 K formed M23C6 carbides and nano-sized carbides with Zr,conferring superior strength balance and impact *** yield strength of alloy reached 695 MPa,and a low ductile-brittle transition temperature of 238 K was maintained.

The effects of magnesium(Mg)on the microstructure and properties of 440C stainless bearing steel melted under pressurized conditions were *** Mg improved the cleanliness of molten steel,modified the inclusions in steel,enhanced the distribution of carbides,and improved the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of experimental *** detail,the contents of TO,S,and N in steel decreased from 0.0013 to 0.0003 wt.%,from 0.0032 to 0.0018 wt.%and from 0.0088 to 0.0049 wt.%,*** addition,the transformation order of oxide inclusions in steel is Al_(2)O_(3)→MgO∙Al_(2)O_(3)→MgO,where the content of Mg in steel sharply increased from 0.00 to 29×10^(-4),81×10^(-4),and 160×10^(-4)wt.%,and the transformation order of S-containing inclusions in steel is MnS→Mg–S–Mn(–MgO)→Mg–O–***,the number and size of inclusions and the proportion of large-size inclusions in steel decreased ***,the network structure of carbides in steel collapsed,the size of carbides was reduced,and the distribution was more ***,the tensile strength,impact toughness,and pitting corrosion resistance of the experimental steel were significantly improved.

Protective effects of huanglian Wendan Decoction aganist cognitive deficits and neuronal damages in rats with diabetic encephalopathy by inhibiting the release of inflammatory cytokines and repairing insulin signaling pathway in hippocampus

huanglian Wendan decoction(HLWDD) has been used for the treatment of symptom of "Re", one of major causes in diabetes and metabolic disorders, according to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. The present study aimed at investigating the cerebral protective effects of HLWDD on diabetic encephalopathy(DE), one of the major diabetic complications. The effects of HLWDD and metformin were analyzed in the streptozocin(STZ) + high-glucose-fat(HGF) diet-induced DE rats by gastric intubation. In the present study, the effects of HLWDD on cognition deficits were investigated after 30-day intervention at two daily dose levels(3 and 6 g·kg^(-1)). To explore the potential mechanisms underlying the effects of HLWDD, we detected the alterations of neuronal damages, inflammatory cytokines, and impaired insulin signaling pathway in hippocampus of the DE rats. Based on our results from the present study, we concluded that the protective effects of HLWDD against the cognitive deficits and neuronal damages through inhibiting the release of inflammatory cytokines and repairing insulin signaling pathway in hippocampus of the DE rats.
