A model of white blood cell membrane chromatography (WB-CMC) was established to screen active component from Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz. The component can antagonize Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4); inhibit inflammatory reaction. In the model of WB-CMC, cell membrane stationary phase (CMSP) was prepared by immobilizing the rabbit white blood cell membrane (WBCM) onto the surface of silica carrier; taxinol was used as a model molecule. The active component which can act on WBCM; its receptor (such as TLR4) as an effective target in A. macrocephala was determined by using a replacement experiment. The anti-inflammatory effects of the active component were tested by using pharmacological methods in vivo. The results indicated that the retention characteristics of atractylenolide I as active component was similar to that of taxinol in the model of WB-CMC. And so, atractylenolide I acted on the WBCM; TLR4; its anti-inflammatory activity was related with antagonizing TLR4. Therefore, the interaction between the active component; WBCM; its receptor can be simulated by the model of WB-CMC in vitro. This model can be used to screen active components; to study effective characteristics for acting on definite targets.

A model of vascular endothelial cell membrane chromatography was established by using an ECV304 cell membrane stationary phase (ECV304 CMSP) prepared by immobilizing the ECV304 cell membrane onto the surface of silica carrier. The surface and chromatographic characteristics of ECV304 CMSP were studied. The active component from Caulophyllum robustum was screened by using the model of vascular endothelial cell membrane chromatography. The interaction between the active component and membrane receptor was determined by using a replace experiments. The effect of the active component was tested by using tube formation of ECV304 cell. The results indicated that the model of ECV304 cell membrane chromatograph (ECV304 CMC) can stimulate the interaction between drug and receptor in vitro and the retention characteristics of taspine as active component was similar to that of model molecule in the model of ECV304 CMC. And therefore, taspine acted on VEGFR2 and inhibited the tube formation of ECV304 cell induced by VEGF. This model can be used to screen definite active component as a screening model.

MWCNTs-Co(II) and Pd(II) were prepared through grafting silylated-salicylaldimine Pd(II) and Co(II) on multiwalled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) for ethylene oligomerization. The structures of the two MWCNTs-supported catalysts were characterized by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analyses(TGA) and nitrogen adsorption and desorption. And the influence of the supported pattern on the catalytic properties for ethylene oligomerization was investigated. The results revealed that the silylated-salicylaldimine complexes were grafted on the inner and outer surfaces of the carbon nanotubes and the pore size and BET surface area of MWCNTs decreased. Compared with the homogeneous catalysts, the two MWCNTs-supported catalysts had higher selectivity for hexene and 1-hexene in the presence of diethylaluminum chloride(DEAC) with a small molecule size due to confinement effect. MWCNTs-Pd exhi-bited higher activity and higher selectivity for C8+ olefin compared to MWCNTs-Co due to electronic factors. The catalytic activities of MWCNTs-Pd and MWCNTs-Co decreased from 24.18×105g·(mol Pd·h)–1 and 20.57×105g·(mol Co·h)–1 to 19.79×105g·(mol Pd·h)–1 and 13.14×105g·(mol Co·h)–1 after the third recycle reaction, respectively.

The efficiencies of 6 kinds of macromolecules with dendritic structure in improving the flow properties of crude oil were investigated. The dendritic additives were synthesized using low-generation dendritic poly(amidoamine) and alkyl longchain acrylic esters as starting materials, and their structures were characterized by the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance and elemental analysis. The effects on the pour point and rheological properties of crude oil samples were studied. Efficiencies of dendritic long-chain esters were not only influenced by the alky chain length, but also by the generation of dendrimer. The longer the alkyl chain of dendritic long-chain ester was, the better the effect in the reduction of pour point and apparent viscosity was. Efficiencies of 1.5 generation dendritic long-chain ester with 8 branched chains for the reduction of pour point and apparent viscosity were superior to those of 0.5 generation dendritic long-chain ester with 4 branched chains. Under the same conditions, efficiencies of 1.5 generation dendritic eighteen ester were superior to those of other 1.5 generation dendritic long-chain esters for the reduction of pour point and viscosity of crude oil.

The hybrid Wireless-Optical Broadband Access Network(WOBAN)provides a new and promising architecture for broadband access network by combining the beneficial properties of wireless and optical access *** avoid huge data loss,WOBAN needs to be designed with a high availability *** purpose of this paper is to protect the Passive Optical Network at the back-end using the backup radios in Wireless Mesh Network at the *** proposed protection scheme is based on a connection availability ***,we assigned several backup Optical Network Units(ONUs)for each primary ONU not satisfying the availability requirement of primary optical *** the availability requirement of backup optical connection,each backup ONU needed to reserve the residual capacity as the backup capacity to fully protect the traffic demand of its primary ***,we selectively deployed the additional radio interfaces as the backup radios for the wireless routers in the front-end under the availability requirement of backup wireless connection,in order to establish the wireless-backup-path between each pair of primary and backup *** backup radio on the wireless-backup-path will retain the backup radio capacity for rerouting traffic,so as to decrease the possibility of traffic block in case of *** aimed to design efficient heuristic algorithms and yield suboptimal solutions for minimizing the consumption of backup ONU capacity and the cost of backup *** results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed scheme compared to previous works.

This work is concerned with consensus control for a class of leader-following multi-agentsystems (MASs).The information that each agent received is corrupted by measurement *** the impact of noises on consensus,time-varying consensus gains are adopted,based on whichconsensus protocols are *** using the tools of stochastic analysis and algebraic graph theory,asufficient condition is obtained for the protocol to ensure strong mean square consensus under the *** condition is shown to be necessary and sufficient in the noise-free ***,by using a common Lyapunov function,the result is extended to the switching topology case.

Bile acids(BAs)are natural metabolites in mammals and have the potential to function as drugs against viral ***,the limited understanding of chenodeoxycholic acid(CDCA)receptors and downstream signaling,along with its lower suppression efficiency in inhibiting virus infection limits its clinical *** this study,we demonstrate that farnesoid X receptor(FXR),the receptor of CDCA,negatively regulates interferon signaling,thereby contributing to the reduced effectiveness of CDCA against virus *** deficiency or pharmacological inhibition enhances interferon signaling activation to suppress virus ***,FXR impairs the DNA binding and transcriptional abilities of activated interferon regulatory factor 3(IRF3)through *** IRF3 transcriptional activity by FXReIRF3 interaction significantly undermines the expression of Interferon Beta 1(IFNB1)and the antiviral response of cells,especially upon the CDCA *** FXR-deficient cells,or when combined with Z-guggulsterone(GUGG)treatment,CDCA exhibits a more potent ability to restrict virus ***,these findings suggest that FXR serves as a limiting factor for CDCA in inhibiting virus replication,which can be attributed to the“signaling-brake”roles of FXR in interferon *** FXR inhibition represents a promising pharmaceutical strategy for the clinical application of BAs metabolites as antiviral drugs.

Multiple new variants of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Co V-2)have constantly emerged,as the delta and omicron variants,which have developed resistance to currently gained neutralizing *** highlights a critical need to discover new therapeutic agents to overcome the variants *** the availability of vaccines against coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),the use of broadly neutralizing antibodies has been considered as an alternative way for the prevention or treatment of SARS-Co V-2 variants ***,we show that the nasal delivery of two previously characterized broadly neutralizing antibodies(F61 and H121)protected K18-h ACE2 mice against lethal challenge with SARS-Co V-2 *** broadly protective efficacy of the F61 or F61/F121 cocktail antibodies was evaluated by lethal challenge with the wild strain(WIV04)and multiple variants,including beta(B.1.351),delta(B.1.617.2),and omicron(B.1.1.529)at 200or 1000 TCID_(50),and the minimum antibody administration doses(5-1.25 mg/kg body weight)were also evaluated with delta and omicron *** prophylactic protections were found in all challenged groups with both F61 and F61/H121 combination at the administration dose of 20 mg/kg body weight,and corresponding mice lung viral RNA showed negative,with almost all alveolar septa and cavities remaining ***,low-dose antibody treatment induced significant prophylactic protection against lethal challenge with delta and omicron variants,whereas the F61/H121 combination showed excellent results against omicron *** findings indicated the potential use of broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibodies as prophylactic and therapeutic agent for protection of current emerged SARS-Co V-2 variants infection.

Synthesis and Surface Activity of Cashew-Based Anion-Nonionic Surfactants

Four novel anion-nonionic surfactants were synthesized using cashew phenol as raw material. The four structures were characterized by IR and elemental analysis. Their surface activities were investigated. Their critical micelle concentrations (CMC) are 9.30 × 10 –3 mol/L, 8.50 × 10–3 mol/L, 8.10 × 10–3 mol/L and 7.71 ×–3 mol/L respectively, and the corresponding surface tensions at CMC are 28.38 mN/m, 28.60 mN/m, 30.40 mN/m and 30.00 mN/m respectively. The contact angles of the solutions on sheet galsses were measured to observe their surface wettabilities. The effects of their concentrations, the concentrations of NaCl and temperature on their foaming capacity and foam stability were studied.
