Process modeling gas atomization of close-coupled ring-hole nozzle for 316L stainless steel powder production

The paper aims at modeling and simulating the atomization process of the close-coupled ring-hole nozzle in vacuum induction gas atomization(VIGA)for metallic powder *** of all,the primary atomization of the ring-hole nozzle is simulated by the volume of fluid(VOF)coupled large eddy simulation(LES)*** simulate the secondary atomization process,we use the method of selecting the droplet sub-model and the VOF *** results show that the ring-hole nozzle forms a gas recirculation zone at the bottom of the delivery tube,which is the main reason for the formation of an annular liquid film during the primary *** addition,the primary atomization process of the ring-hole nozzle consists of three stages:the formation of the serrated liquid film tip,the appearance and shedding of the ligaments,and the fragmentation of *** the same time,the primary atomization mainly forms spherical droplets and long droplets,but only the long droplets can be reserved and proceed to the secondary ***,increasing the number of ring holes from 18 to 30,the mass median diameter(MMD,d_(50))of the primary atomized droplets decreases first and then increases,which is mainly due to the change of the thickness of the melt ***,the secondary atomization of the ring-hole nozzles is mainly in bag breakup mode and multimode breakup model,and bag breakup will result in the formation of hollow powder,which can be avoided by increasing the gas velocity.

Transcriptome sequencing and metabolome analysis reveal the mechanism of Shuanghua Baihe Tablet in the treatment of oral mucositis

Oral mucositis(OM) caused by cancer therapy is the most common adverse reaction in the radiotherapy of head and neck tumors. In severe cases, it can lead to the interruption of treatment, which affects the control of the disease and the quality of *** Baihe Tablet(SBT) is a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) formula, which is administerd to treat OM in China. It has been clinically effective for more than 30 years, but the underlying mechanism is not completely understood. With the development of multiple omics, it is possible to explore the mechanism of Chinese herbal compound prescriptions. Based on transcriptomics and metabolomics, we explored the underlying mechanism of SBT in the treatment of OM. An OM model of rats was established by 5-FU induction, and SBT was orally administered at dosages of 0.75 and 3 g·kg;·d;. In order to search for SBT targets and related metabolites, the dysregulated genes and metabolites were detected by transcriptomics and metabolomics. Immune related indicators such as interleukin-17(IL-17) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) were detected by EliSA. Treg cell disorders was analyzed by flow cytometry. Our results showed that SBT significantly alleviated the symptoms of OM rats and the inflammatory infiltration of ulcer *** SBT administration, inflammatory related metabolic pathways including linoleic acid metabolism, valine, leucine and isoleucine biosynthesis were significantly altered. Furthermore, the production of proinflammatory factors like IL-17 and TNF-α, were also dramatically reduced after SBT administration. Besides, the infiltration degree of Treg cells in the spleen of OM modeling rats was significantly improved by SBT administration, thus maintaining the immune balance of the body. The current study demonstrates that SBT regulates inoleic acid metabolism, glycerophospholipid metabolism and amino acid metabolism, and inhibits IL-17/TNF signal transduction to restore Treg and Th17 cell homeostasis in OM

The present work was mainly focused on the single and binary adsorption of methylene blue(MB)and methyl orange(MO)from alcohol aqueous solution over rice husk based activated carbon(RHAC).The study of single dye adsorption equilibrium experiments found that the Langmuir adsorption model was consistent with the adsorption behavior of RHAC on MB and MO,indicating that it was a single layer *** adsorption behavior con-formed to the pscudo-second-order kinetic *** binary dye adsorption experiments showed that the Lang-muir-Freundlich model could be applied to describe the adsorption behavior of RHAC on MB and *** with the single dye system,the adsorption capacity on the binary dye system was larger,and there was"competitive adsorption"and"synergistic adsorption"effects ***,the pseudo-second-order kinetic model also fit for the binary dye adsorption behavior.

Cooling and wetting of soil decelerated ground freezingethawing processes of the active layer in xing'an permafrost regions in Northeast China

The accelerated or decelerated freezingethawing processes of the active layer in xing'an permafrost regions are crucial for the protection of *** better understand the freezingethawing processes of the active layer and its driving factors,according to the observation from 2017 to 2020 of soil temperature and water content in the active layer of forest and peatland in two representative hemiboreal ecosystems in the Da xing'anling Mountains,Northeast China,the study explored in detail the effects of climatic conditions and local factors on the hydrothermal and freezingethawing processes of active layer *** results showed that during the freezingethawing cycles of 2017-2020,freezing and thawing start times in the peatland and forest ecosystems soils were generally delayed,and it took longer for the active layer soil to completely thaw than to *** annual average soil temperature in the peatland's active layer(5-80 cm)was 0.7-2.0℃ lower than that in the forest,and the annual average soil moisture content on the peatland was 5.5%-26.7%higher than that in the *** with the forest ecosystem soils,the ground surface freezing time of the peatland was delayed by 3e10 d,and the freezing rate decreased by 1.1-1.5 cm d1,while the beginning time of thawing was advanced by 22-27 d,and the thawing rate decreased by 1.3-1.4 cm d^(-1).In the process of decreasing soil temperature and increasing soil moisture content,the freezing and thawing rate of the active layer would be reduced,decelerating the freezingethawing processes of the active layer in the process of decreasing soil temperature and increasing soil moisture *** results provide the key original data for studying the formation and evolution of active layer and permafrost in the xing'an permafrost regions in Northeast China and can be used to validate the prediction of ecosystem succession under the combined influences of climate change and permafrost degradation.

Southern East Asia,including Guangxi and Fujian provinces in China,is home to diverse ethnic groups,languages,and *** studies suggest a high complexity regarding population dynamics and the history of southern East ***,large-scale genetic studies on ancient populations in this region are hindered by limited sample ***,using highly efficient DNA capture techniques,we obtain 48 complete mitochondrial genomes of individuals from Guangxi and Fujian in China and reconstruct their maternal genetic history over the past 12,000 *** find a strong connection between southern East Asians dating to~12,000-6000 years ago and present-day Southeast *** addition,stronger genetic affinities to northern East Asians are observed in historical southern East Asians than Neolithic southern East Asians,suggesting increased interactions between northern and southern East Asians over ***,we reveal dynamic connections between ancient southern East Asians and populations located in surrounding regions,as well as a shift in maternal genetic structure within the populations over time.

End-stage liver disease score and future liver remnant volume predict post-hepatectomy liver failure in hepatocellular carcinoma

Impact mechanism of gas temperature in metal powder production via gas atomization

This paper aims at studying the influence mechanism of gas temperatures(300 K,400 K,500 K,and 600 K)on gas atomization by simulating the integral atomization process of the close-coupled nozzle in vacuum induction gas atomization(VIGA).The primary atomization is simulated by the volume of fluid(VOF)approach,and the second atomization is studied by the discrete phase model(DPM)combined with the instability breakage *** results show that,at an increased gas temperature,the influences of gas-liquid contact angle and gas temperature in the recirculation zone on the primary atomization are virtually ***,increasing the gas temperature will increase the gas-liquid relative velocity near the recirculation zone and decrease the melt film thickness,which are the main reasons for the reduced mass median diameter(MMD,d50)of primary atomized *** the secondary atomization,increasing the gas temperature from 300 K to 600 K results in an increase in the droplet dispersion angle,which is beneficial to the formation of spherical metal *** addition,increasing the gas temperature,the positive effect of gas-liquid relative velocity increase on droplets refinement overweighs the negative influence of the GMR decrease,resulting in the reduced MMD and diameter distribution *** the analysis of the atomization mechanism,the increase in atomization efficiency caused by increasing the temperature of the atomizing gas,including primary atomization and secondary atomization,is mainly due to the increase in the gas drag force difference between the inner and outer sides of the annular liquid film.
