Ultrathin and flexible MXene-contained electromagnetic interference shielding composite paper designed with a protective hydrogel film

MXene-contained paper is a good choice to design ultrathin and flexible electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding ***,the deficiencies in strength and stability of MXene-contained paper impede its practical ***,a composite paper was proposed to address the problems,in which a filter paper was modified with a three-layer structured surface via a facile layer-by-layer coating ***,the TEMPO-oxidized cellulose nanofibers(TOCN)/cationic starch(CS)/MXene gel layer and TOCN/MXene nacre structure layer ensured the good EMI shielding and mechanical performances of the composite paper,while the uppermost TOCN/CS hydrogel film layer mainly protected *** composite paper achieved an EMI SE of 40.3 dB at a thickness of merely 0.1894 mm(SE/t value of ca.212.8 dB mm^(−1),SSE/t values of ca.13216 dB cm 2 g^(−1))and the total MXene dosage was 20 g m^(−2).Its tensile strength could be up to 11.7 MPa while the original filter paper was 6.4 *** pieces of this composite papers could be easily packed together to attain an EMI SE of nearly 70 ***,the hydrogel film layer efficiently protected the MXene and maintained the EMI shielding performance of the composite paper when immersed in different liquids including water,HCl(1 M)and ethanol,due to the dense and compact structure of hydrogel film *** work provides a practical way to develop ultrathin,flexible and durable EMI shielding materials.

Physics-informed neural networks are a useful machine learning method for solving differential equations,but encounter challenges in effectively learning thin boundary layers within singular perturbation *** resolve this issue,multi-scale-matching neural networks are proposed to solve the singular perturbation *** by matched asymptotic expansions,the solution is decomposed into inner solutions for small scales and outer solutions for large scales,corresponding to boundary layers and outer regions,***,to conform neural networks,we introduce exponential stretched variables in the boundary layers to avoid semiinfinite region *** results for the thin plate problem validate the proposed method.

Large eddy simulation study of 3D wind field in a complex mountainous area under different boundary conditions

Large eddy simulations generally are used to predict 3D wind field characteristics in complex mountainous *** simulation boundary conditions,such as the height and length of the computational domain or the characteristics of inflow turbulence,can significantly impact the quality of *** this study,we examined these boundary conditions within the context of the mountainous terrain around a long-span cable-stayed bridge using a wind tunnel *** sizes of computational domains and turbulent incoming wind velocities were used in large eddy *** results show that when the height of the computational domain is five times greater than the height of the terrain model,there is minimal influence from the top wall on the wind field characteristics in this complex mountainous *** the length of the wake region of the computational domain has negligible effects on the wind *** in the inlet boundary reduces the length of the wake region on a leeward hill with a low slope,but has less impact on the mean wind velocity of steep hills.

Multiscale observation in wide-spatial radar surveillance based on coherent FDA design

Wide-spatial radar surveillance missions are challenging tasks, requiring an increased power budget and agility in transmission aimed at extracting information from multiple targets in different environments. These requirements necessitate high transmitting degrees of freedom(DOF) to achieve the objective of multiscale observation for specific tasks in specialized regions of interest. herein, we exploit the multiscale observation ability in wide-spatial radar surveillance based on frequency diverse array(FDA)radar. The proposed method facilitates spatial anisotropic control of multiple radar resources, including the transmitting waveforms, beampattern, and bandwidth. By utilizing a coherent FDA radar, we offer principles for the selection of baseband waveforms, in addition to the quantitative design of the beampattern gain and optimal bandwidth from the perspective of detection. The feasibility of the proposed method is validated through numerical experiments, thus indicating the potential in wide-spatial radar surveillance. Moreover,this work can be regarded as a preliminary attempt to gauge the efficacy of the computational array, a novel academic concept.

As a highly invasive malignancy,esophageal cancer(EC)is a global health issue,and was the eighth most prevalent cancer and the sixth leading cause of cancerrelated death worldwide in *** to its highly immunogenic nature,emerging immunotherapy approaches,such as immune checkpoint blockade,have demonstrated promising efficacy in treating EC;however,certain limitations and challenges still *** addition,tumors may exhibit primary or acquired resistance to immunotherapy in the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME);thus,understanding the TIME is urgent and crucial,especially given the importance of an immunosuppressive microenvironment in tumor *** aim of this review was to better elucidate the mechanisms of the suppressive TIME,including cell infiltration,immune cell subsets,cytokines and signaling pathways in the tumor microenvironment of EC patients,as well as the downregulated expression of major histocompatibility complex molecules in tumor cells,to obtain a better understanding of the differences in EC patient responses to immunotherapeutic strategies and accurately predict the efficacy of ***,personalized treatments could be developed to maximize the advantages of immunotherapy.

Chloro-propylene Sulfite as Electrolyte Additive for Li/S Batteries

Chloro-propylene sulfite （CIPS） was employed as electrolyte additive of Li/S batteries for the first time. Linear potential sweep test showed that the CIPS keeps high electrochemical stability even under the voltage of 5.0V. Being used as electrolyte additive in Li/S batteries, CIPS displayed an excellent property for self-discharge prohibition. With CIPS additive the Li/S cells initial discharge capacity was 856.2 mAh·g^-1 and 830.8 mAh·g^-1 at the current density of 15 mA.g and 30 mA·g^-1 , after 30 cycles the discharge capacities were contained at as high as 753.8 mAh.g and 715.6 mAh·g^-1. By means of infrared spectra, TG/DTA experiment and element conten analysis the speculated reason of CIPS＇s novel function as additive was proposed.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF VENTILATED SUPERCAVITIES WITH A DYNAMIC PITCHING MODEL

An investigation of the ventilated supercavitation for a supercavitating vehicle pitching up and down in the supercavity was carded out in a high-speed water tunnel. The emphasis is laid on the understanding of the interaction of the vehicle aft body with the cavity boundary. The flow characteristics were measured and the stability of supercaviting flow with different pitching frequencies and amplitudes was analyzed. In particular, the objectives of this study are to understand the effect of the impact upon the cavity distortion, and to quantify the impact process by investigating the evolution of the pressure inside the cavity and then the loads on the vehicle during the pitching motion. It is also shown that the evolution of the pressure detected in different,as inside the supercavity, is coherent and uniform during the periods of the pitching motion. This study is of direct relevance to reliable and accurate prediction of hydrodynamic loads associated with the slamming and impact on supercavitating vehicles.

Prediction of contact resistance of electrical contact wear using different machine learning algorithms

H62 brass material is one of the important materials in the process of electrical energy transmission and signal transmission,and has excellent performance in all *** the wear behavior of electrical contact pairs is particularly complex when they are in service,we evaluated the effects of load,sliding velocity,displacement amplitude,current intensity,and surface roughness on the changes in contact *** learning(ML)algorithms were used to predict the electrical contact performance of different factors after wear to determine the correlation between different factors and contact *** forest(RF),support vector regression(SVR)and BP neural network(BPNN)algorithms were used to establish RF,SVR and BPNN models,respectively,and the experimental data were trained and *** was proved that BP neural network model could better predict the stable mean resistance of H62 brass alloy after *** analysis shows that the load and current have great influence on the predicted electrical contact *** wear behavior of electrical contacts is influenced by factors such as load,sliding speed,displacement amplitude,current intensity,and surface roughness during *** learning algorithms can predict the electrical contact performance after wear caused by these *** results indicate that an increase in load,current,and surface roughness leads to a decrease in stable mean resistance,while an increase in displacement amplitude and frequency results in an increase in stable mean resistance,leading to a decline in electrical contact *** reduce testing time and costs and quickly obtain the electrical contact performance of H62 brass alloy after wear caused by different factors,three algorithms(random forest(RF),support vector regression(SVR),and BP neural network(BPNN))were used to train and test experimental results,resulting in a machine learning model suitable for predicting the stable mean
