Twelve healthy rats were divided into the T-2 toxin group receiving gavage of 1 mg/kg T-2 toxin and the control group receiving gavage of normal saline. Total relative concentrations of T-2 toxin and HT-2 toxin in the skeletal system（thighbone, knee joints, and costal cartilage） were significantly higher than those in the heart, liver, and kidneys（P 〈 0.05）. The relative concentrations of T-2 toxin and HT-2 toxin in the skeletal system（thighbone and costal cartilage） were also significantly higher than those in the heart, liver, and kidneys. The rats administered T-2 toxin showed rapid metabolism compared with that in rats administered HT-2 toxin, and the metabolic conversion rates in the different tissues were 68.20%-90.70%.

Few effective treatments for chronic Keshan disease have been available till *** efficacy of long-term selenium supplementation in the treatment of chronic Keshan disease with congestive heart failure is *** study aimed to determine whether selenium supplementation is associated with a decreased risk of cardiac death in chronic Keshan disease with congestive heart failure by ten years of follow-up.A retrospective long-term follow-up analysis was performed on a monitored cohort consisting of 302 chronic Keshan disease patients with a mean age of 40.8±11.4 *** the 302 chronic Keshan disease patients,170(56.3%)were given selenium supplementation until the end point of *** proportional hazards regression models were used to identify the independent predictors of cardiac *** results showed that during the follow-up,there were 101 deaths of patients with chronic Keshan disease in the selenium supplementation group(101/170,59.4%)and 98 in non-selenium supplementation group(98/132,74.2%).Multivariate analyses suggested that selenium supplementation was associated with a decreased risk of cardiac death(HR 0.39,95%CI 0.28-0.53)after adjustment for baseline age,sex,cigarette smoking,family history of Keshan disease,body mass index(BMI),heart rate,electrocardiogram(ECG)abnonnalities,blood pressure,initial cardiothoracic ratio,left ventricular可ection fractions(LVEF)and whole-blood selenium *** ten-year follow-up analysis indicated that selenium supplementation,specifically combined with the use of angiotensinconverting cnzyme inhibitor and beta blocker therapy,improved the survival of patients with chronic Keshan disease with congestive heart ***,selenium deficiency,male,combined ECG abnonnalities,LVEF,and fast heart rate increased the risk of cardiac events.

Nitrogen containing austenitic stainless steels(N-ASS)are widely utilized to fabricate various structural components in tokamak type fusion reactors owing to their suitable mechanical and functional *** components are exposed to a range of temperatures(4-500 K)and interact closely with the magnetic fields that are used to control and contain the plasma within the tokamak ***-40(N40)or XM-11 stainless steel is one such N-ASS used for fabricating structural components in the mag-netic and vacuum vessel systems in tokamak *** of most of the larger components in the magnetic and vacuum vessel systems typically involves some type of fusion-based welding *** study presents a double-sided friction stir welding(FSW)approach as an alternative to fusion welding processes to join 12 mm thick N40 plates to obtain joints with a low fraction ofδferrite(a detrimen-tal ferromagnetic phase),high joint efficiency,no sensitization and loss of hardness in the heat affected zone,and minimal nitrogen desorption from the weld *** double-sided FSW approach yielded superior weldments when compared to similar joints accomplished by fusion welding for application in tokamak devices.

Objective:Docosahexaenoic acid(DHA,22:6,n-3)is a major structural component of neural tissue critical to neurotransmission and mood *** maternal dietary intake coupled with accelerated maternal-fetal transfer of DHA compound risk for maternal *** objective of this investigation was to determine if maternal DHA supplementation is efficacious in reducing symptoms of postpartum ***:This pilot investigation was a randomized,double-blinded,placebo controlled investigation of the role of DHA in preventing risk for postpartum *** were assigned to:i)Placebo(no DHA,corn oil capsule),ii)DHA(300 mg DHA,fish oil capsule).Capsules were consumed from 24 to 40 weeks gestation(1 capsule 5 days/week).Forty-two participants were recruited(n=20,intervention;n=22,placebo).Maternal DHA status and depressive symptoms were followed from 24 to 40 weeks gestation using the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D)and the Postpartum Depression Screening Scale(PDSS)from 2 weeks to 6 months ***:PDSS total scores were significantly lower(p=0.016;46.03±2.17,intervention vs.52.11±2.4,placebo)in the intervention group with less anxiety/insecurity(p=0.03),emotional lability(p=0.04)and loss of self(p=0.02).Conclusions:Women in the DHA intervention group had fewer symptoms of postpartum depression compared to the placebo *** results support the notion that the consumption of DHA by pregnant women can be efficacious in preventing depressive symptoms and highlight a need for further larger-scale investigations using the PDSS in tandem with a diagnostic evaluation.

Interposers with through-silicon vias(TSVs)play a key role in the three-dimensional integration and packaging of integrated circuits and microelectromechanical *** the current practice of fabricating interposers,solder balls are placed next to the vias;however,this approach requires a large foot print for the input/output(I/O)***,in this study,we investigate the possibility of placing the solder balls directly on top of the vias,thereby enabling a smaller pitch between the solder balls and an increased density of the I/O *** reach this goal,inkjet printing(that is,piezo and super inkjet)was used to successfully fill and planarize hollow metal TSVs with a dielectric *** under bump metallization(UBM)pads were also successfully printed with inkjet technology on top of the polymer-filled vias,using either Ag or Au *** reliability of the TSV interposers was investigated by a temperature cycling stress test(−40℃ to+125℃).The stress test showed no impact on DC resistance of the TSVs;however,shrinkage and delamination of the polymer was observed,along with some micro-cracks in the UBM *** proof of concept,SnAgCu-based solder balls were jetted on the UBM pads.

目的体外培养大骨节病(Kashin-Beck disease,KBD)患者和正常对照的关节软骨细胞并对比观察细胞形态、Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ和Ⅹ型胶原表型及基质金属蛋白酶13(MMP-13)的表达变化,以明确KBD软骨细胞的生长特性。方法依据我国"大骨节病临床诊断标准"和病理学变化特征,选择KBD患者为KBD组(n=8),并设立正常对照组(n=8)。在无菌手术条件下采集关节软骨,胶原酶等消化、分离后进行软骨细胞培养,光镜及透射电子显微镜观察形态,免疫组织化学及流式细胞术观察细胞Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅹ型胶原和MMP-13的体外表达变化,对比研究KBD软骨细胞表型表达的特点。结果KBD软骨细胞内空泡及核变形现象较正常增多,并有绒毛及胶原纤维不规则排列等超微结构变化。两组间Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅹ型胶原表型表达差异显著,其中KBD组Ⅱ型胶原表型表达显著低于对照组(t=-5.54,P<0.001),而MMP-13表达显著增高(t=3.70,P<0.01)。结论KBD软骨细胞Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅱ、Ⅹ型胶原表型和MMP-13的表达不同于正常对照组,以软骨细胞的退行性和增生性变化为著。
