The voltage drop appearing at Mg anode-electrolyte interface is a critical issue for the battery power and energy density of aqueous primary Mg-air *** respective voltage loss is typically assigned to the deposits layer forming on the anode surface during *** this work,we experimentally and computationally investigate the critical factors affecting the voltage drop at Mg anode towards a deeper understanding of the contribution of deposit and its growth.A two-dimensional(2D)mathematical model is proposed to compute the voltage drop of Mg-0.15Ca wt.%alloy(Mg-0.15Ca)by means of a semi-empirical formulas and experiments-based modification model,considering the effect of discharge current density,the negative difference effect(NDE)and surface deposits layer *** model is utilized to simulate the discharge potential of the anode at predefined experimental current *** computed voltage drop(half-cell voltage)is in good agreement with the experimental *** applicability of the mathematical model is successfully validated on the second material(namely high-purity Mg).

Superhydrophobic surface(SHS) has been well developed, as SHS renders the property of minimizing the water/solid contact interface. Water droplets deposited onto SHS with contact angles exceeding 150°, allow them to retain spherical shapes, and the low adhesion of SHS facilitates easy droplet collection when tilting the substrate. These characteristics make SHS suitable for a wide range of applications. One particularly promising application is the fabrication of microsphere and supraparticle materials. SHS offers a distinct advantage as a universal platform capable of providing customized services for a variety of microspheres and supraparticles. In this review, an overview of the strategies for fabricating microspheres and supraparticles with the aid of SHS, including cross-linking process, polymer melting,and droplet template evaporation methods, is first presented. Then, the applications of microspheres and supraparticles formed onto SHS are discussed in detail, for example, fabricating photonic devices with controllable structures and tunable structural colors, acting as catalysts with emerging or synergetic properties, being integrated into the biomedical field to construct the devices with different medicinal purposes, being utilized for inducing protein crystallization and detecting trace amounts of analytes. Finally,the perspective on future developments involved with this research field is given, along with some obstacles and opportunities.

Multimodal sentiment analysis aims to understand people’s emotions and opinions from diverse ***-nating or multiplying various modalities is a traditional multi-modal sentiment analysis fusion *** fusion method does not utilize the correlation information between *** solve this problem,this paper proposes amodel based on amulti-head attention ***,after preprocessing the original ***,the feature representation is converted into a sequence of word vectors and positional encoding is introduced to better understand the semantic and sequential information in the input ***,the input coding sequence is fed into the transformer model for further processing and *** the transformer layer,a cross-modal attention consisting of a pair of multi-head attention modules is employed to reflect the correlation between ***,the processed results are input into the feedforward neural network to obtain the emotional output through the classification *** the above processing flow,the model can capture semantic information and contextual relationships and achieve good results in various natural language processing *** model was tested on the CMU Multimodal Opinion Sentiment and Emotion Intensity(CMU-MOSEI)and Multimodal Emotionlines Dataset(MElD),achieving an accuracy of 82.04% and F1 parameters reached 80.59% on the former dataset.

Ultracold atoms endowed with tunable spin-orbital-angular-momentum coupling(SOAMC)represent a promising avenue for delving into exotic quantum phenomena. Building on recent experimental advancements, we propose the generation of synthetic gauge fields, and by including exotic vortex phases within spinor Bose–Einstein condensates, employing a combination of a running wave and laguerre–Gaussian laser fields. We investigate the ground-state characteristics of the SOAMC condensate, revealing the emergence of exotic vortex states with controllable orbital angular momenta. It is shown that the interplay of the SOAMC and conventional spin-linear-momentum coupling induced by the running wave beam leads to the formation of a vortex state exhibiting a phase stripe hosting single multiply quantized singularity. The phase of the ground state will undergo the phase transition corresponding to the breaking of rotational symmetry while preserving the mirror symmetry. Importantly, the observed density distribution of the ground-state wavefunction, exhibiting broken rotational symmetry, can be well characterized by the synthetic magnetic field generated through light interaction with the dressed spin state. Our findings pave the way for further exploration into the rotational properties of stable exotic vortices with higher orbital angular momenta against splitting in the presence of synthetic gauge fields in ultracold quantum gases.

Vehicle detection plays a crucial role in the field of autonomous driving ***,directly applying deep learning-based object detection algorithms to complex road scene images often leads to subpar performance and slow inference speeds in vehicle *** a balance between accuracy and detection speed is crucial for real-time object detection in real-world road *** paper proposes a high-precision and fast vehicle detector called the feature-guided bidirectional pyramid network(FBPN).Firstly,to tackle challenges like vehicle occlusion and significant background interference,the efficient feature filtering module(EFFM)is introduced into the deep network,which amplifies the disparities between the features of the vehicle and the ***,the proposed global attention localization module(GAlM)in the model neck effectively perceives the detailed position information of the target,improving both the accuracy and inference speed of ***,the detection accuracy of small-scale vehicles is further enhanced through the utilization of a four-layer feature pyramid *** results show that FBPN achieves an average precision of 60.8% and 97.8% on the BDD100K and KITTI datasets,respectively,with inference speeds reaching 344.83 frames/s and 357.14 frames/*** demonstrates its effectiveness and superiority by striking a balance between detection accuracy and inference speed,outperforming several state-of-the-art methods.

The replacement of winter wheat varieties has contributed significantly to yield improvement worldwide,with remarkable progress in *** on two sets of data,production yield from the National Bureau of Statistics of China and experimental yield from literature,this study aims to(1)illustrate the increasing patterns of production yield among different provinces from 1978 to 2018 in China,(2)explore the genetic gain in yield and yield relevant traits through the variety replacement based on experimental yield from 1937 to 2016 in China,and(3)compare the yield gap between experimental yield and production *** results show that both the production and experimental yields significantly increased along with the variety *** national annual yield increase ratio for the production yield was 1.67%from 1978 to 2018,varying from 0.96%in Sichuan Province to 2.78%in Hebei Province;such ratio for the experimental yield was 1.13%from 1937 to *** yield gap between experimental and production yields decreased from the 1970s to the *** study reveals significant increases in some yield components consequent to variety replacement,including thousand-grain weight,kernel number per spike,and grain number per square meter;however,no change is shown in spike number per square *** biomass and harvest index consistently and significantly increased,whereas the plant height decreased significantly.

On the convergence of tracking differentiator with multiple stochastic disturbances

This paper investigates the convergence, noise-tolerance, and filtering performance of a tracking differentiator in the presence of multiple stochastic disturbances for the first time. We consider a general case wherein the input signal is corrupted by additive colored noise, and the tracking differentiator is disturbed by additive colored noise and white noise. The tracking differentiator is shown to track the input signal and its generalized derivatives in the mean square sense. Further, the almost sure convergence can be achieved when the stochastic noise affecting the input signal is vanishing. Herein, numerical simulations are performed to validate the theoretical results.

The demand for optically transparent temperature sensors in intelligent devices is ***,the performance of these sensors,particularly in terms of their sensitivity and resolution,must be further *** study introduces a novel transparent and highly sensitive temperature sensor characterized by its ultrathin,freestanding design based on a Mn-Co-Ni-O *** Mn-Co-Ni-O-based sensor exhibits remarkable sensitivity,with a temperature coefficient of resistance of−4%℃^(−1),and can detect minuscule temperature fluctuations as small as 0.03℃.Additionally,the freestanding sensor can be transferred onto any substrate for versatile application while maintaining robust structural stability and excellent resistance to interference,indicating its suitability for operation in challenging *** practical utility in monitoring the surface temperature of optical devices is demonstrated through vertical integration of the sensor and a micro light-emitting diode on a polyimide ***,an experiment in which the sensor is implanted in rats confirms its favorable biocompatibility,highlighting the promising applications of the sensor in the biomedical domain.
