Nowadays,force sensors play an important role in industrial production,electronic information,medical health,and many other ***-dimensional material-based filed effect transistor(2D-FET)sensors are competitive with nano-level size,l.w.r power consumption,and accurate ***,few of them has the capability of impulse detection which is a path function,expressing the cumulative effect of the force on the particle over a period of *** we fabricated the flexible polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)gate dielectric MoS_(2)-FET for force and impulse sensor *** systematically investigated the responses of the sensor to constant force and varying forces,and achieved the conversion factors of the drain current signals(I_(ds))to the detected impulse(I).The applied force was detected and recorded by I_(ds)with a l.w.power consumption of~30 *** sensitivity of the device can reach~8000%and the 4×1 sensor array is able to detect and locate the normal force applied on ***,there was almost no performance loss for the device as left in the air for two months.

Electronic commerce is impacting almost all commercial activities. The resulting emerging commercial activities bring with them many new modeling and optimization problems. This survey reviews pioneering works in this new area, covering topics in advertising strategy, web page design, automatic pricing, auction methods, brokerage strategy, and customer behavior analysis. Mathematical models for problems in these areas and their solution algorithms are discussed. In addition to presenting and commenting on these works, we also discuss possible extensions and related problems. The objective of this survey is to encourage more researchers to pay attention to this emerging area.

Specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators including maresin 1 mediate resolution but the levels of these are reduced in Alzheimer's disease brain, suggesting that they constitute a novel target for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease to prevent/stop inflammation and combat disease pathology. Therefore, it is important to clarify whether they counteract the expression of genes and proteins induced by amyloid-β. with this objective, we analyzed the relevance of human monocyte–derived microglia for in vitro modeling of neuroinflammation and its resolution in the context of Alzheimer's disease and investigated the pro-resolving bioactivity of maresin 1 on amyloid-β42–induced Alzheimer's disease–like inflammation. Analysis of RNA-sequencing data and secreted proteins in supernatants from the monocyte-derived microglia showed that the monocyte-derived microglia resembled Alzheimer's disease–like neuroinflammation in human brain microglia after incubation with amyloid-β42. Maresin 1 restored homeostasis by down-regulating inflammatory pathway related gene expression induced by amyloid-β42 in monocyte-derived microglia, protection of maresin 1 against the effects of amyloid-β42 is mediated by a re-balancing of inflammatory transcriptional networks in which modulation of gene transcription in the nuclear factor-kappa B pathway plays a major part. we pinpointed molecular targets that are associated with both neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease and therapeutic targets by maresin 1. In conclusion, monocyte-derived microglia represent a relevant in vitro microglial model for studies on Alzheimer's disease-like inflammation and drug response for individual patients. Maresin 1 ameliorates amyloid-β42–induced changes in several genes of importance in Alzheimer's disease, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for Alzheimer's disease.

Inclusive fitness benefits depend on recognizing the right individuals to interact with. Social insect nests protect themselves from non-kin intruders through nestmate recognition based on chemical cues. The recognition cues on adult individu- als are from a mixture of genetic and environmental sources, but the ontogeny and use of recognition cues on eggs has not been previously assessed. we studied recognition by workers of eggs that were either nestmates or non-nestmates, and the ontogeny of recognition cues on eggs in the ant Formica fusca, a species with precise egg recognition abilities. workers were able to dis- criminate among freshly laid eggs with no nest derived cues on them, and the egg surface chemicals varied among nests in these eggs, suggesting that queen derived cues are used in nestmate recognition. The results are discussed in the light of their implica- tions on deceptive social parasite strategies and within colony conflicts

Race-specific disease resistance in plants is mediated by Resistance （R） proteins that recognize pathogen at- tack and initiate defence responses. Most R proteins contain a central NB-ARC domain and a C-terminal leucine-rich repeat （lRR） domain. we analyzed the intramolecular interaction of the lRR domain of tomato R protein Mi-1.2 with its N- terminus. we expressed the CC-NB-ARC and lRR parts in trans and analyzed functional transcomplementation and physical interactions. we show that these domains functionally transcomplement when expressed in trans. Known autoactivating lRR domain swaps were found to induce a hypersensitive response （HR） upon co-expression. likewise, autoactivating mutants in the NB subdomain transcomplemented to induce HR. Point mutations in the ARC2 subdomain that induce strong autoactivation in the full-length Mi-1.2 protein, however, fail to induce HR in the transcomplementation assay, These data indicate distinct functions for the NB-ARC subdomains in induction of HR signalling. Furthermore, dissociation of the lRR is not required to release its negative regulation, as in all combinations of CC-NB-ARC and lRR domains tested, a physical interaction was observed.

The inertia friction welding process is a non-linear process because of the interaction between the temperature field and the material properties as well as the friction force. A thermo-mechanical coupled finite element model is established to simulate the temperature field of this process. The transient temperature distribution during the inertia friction welding process of two similar workpieces of GH4169 alloy is calculated. The region of the circular cross-section of the workpiece is divided into a number of four-nodded isoparametric elements. In this model, the temperature dependent thermal properties, time dependent heat inputs, contact condition of welding interface, and deformation of the flash were considered. At the same time, the convection and radiation heat losses at the surface of the workpieces were also considered. A temperature data acquisition system was developed. The temperature at some position near the welding interface was measured using this system. The calculated temperature agrees well.w.th the experimental data. The deformation of the flash and the factor affecting the temperature distribution at the welding interface are also discussed.

lithium-sulfur （li-S） batteries have gained great attention due to the high theoretical energy density and l.w.cost,yet their further commercialization has been obstructed by the notorious shuttle effect and sluggish redox ***,we supply a strategy to optimize the electron structure of Ni2P by concurrently introducing B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P （Vp-B-Ni2P）,thereby enhancing the bidirectional sulfur *** study indicates that the simultaneous introduction of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P causes the redistribution of electron around Ni atoms,bringing about the upward shift of d-band center of Ni atoms and effective d-p orbital hybridization between Ni atoms and sulfur species,thus strengthening the chemical anchoring for lithium polysulfides （liPSs） as well as expediting the bidirectional conversion kinetics of sulfur ***,theoretical calculations reveal that the incorporation of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P selectively promotes li2S dissolution and nucleation ***,the li-S batteries with Vp-B-Ni2P-separators present outstanding rate ability of 777 m A h g-1at 5 C and high areal capacity of 8.03 mA h cm-2under E/S of 5μl mg-1and sulfur loading of 7.20 mg *** work elucidates that introducing heteroatom and vacancy in metal phosphide collaboratively regulates the electron structure to accelerate bidirectional sulfur conversion.

Pathogens use effector proteins to manipulate their hosts. During infection of tomato, the fungus Fusarium oxysporum secretes the effectors Avr2 and Six5. whereas Avr2 suffices to trigger I-2-mediated cell death in heterologous systems, both effectors are required for I-2-mediated disease resistance in tomato. How Six5 participates in triggering resistance is unknown. Using bimolecular fluorescence complementation assays we found that Avr2 and Six5 interact at plasmodesmata. Single-cell transformation revealed that a 2xRFP marker protein and Avr2-GFP only move to neighboring cells in the presence of Six5. Six5 alone does not alter plasmodesmatal transduction as 2xRFP was only translocated in the presence of both effectors. In SIX5-expressing transgenic plants, the distribution of virally expressed Avr2-GFP, and subsequent onset of I-2-mediated cell death, differed from that in wild-type tomato. Taken together, our data show that in the presence of Six5, Avr2 moves from cell to cell, which in susceptible plants contributes to virulence, but in I-2 containing plants induces resistance.

The effect of 2-butyne-1, 4-diol （BD） on the deposition behavior of the Co-Ni alloy was investigated by linear sweep voltammetry. The results showed that BD could prevent the deposition of the Co-Ni alloy. The effect of BD concentration in the sulfate plating bath, on the structure of the Co-Ni deposit was studied by energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope, and X-ray diffraction, respectively. As a result, BD could smoothen the deposit surface and decrease the diameter of the grain, but too much of BD was not good for the size of the grain. In general, a hexagonal close-packed （hcp） phase of the Co-Ni alloy, with a preferentially oriented （110） plane, was prepared by electrodeposition in the presence of BD. The Co-Ni alloy as a catalyst for the electro-oxidation of ethanol in alkaline medium was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The deposit plated from the bath containing BD possessed better electro-oxidation of ethanol performance compared with that of the deposit plated from only the sulfate plating bath, but too much of BD was not beneficial for catalytic activity. The Co-Ni film was suitable as a magnetic recording material.
