Boyd^interpolation theorem for quasilinear operators is generalized in this paper,which gives a generalization for both the Marcinkiewicz interpolation theorem and Boyd^interpolation *** using this new interpolation theorem,we study the spherical fractional maximal functions and the fractional maximal commutators on rearrangement-invariant quasi-Banach function *** particular,we obtain the mapping properties of the spherical fractional maximal functions and the fractional maximal commutators on generalized Lorentz spaces.

We introduce the martingale Morrey spaces built on Banach function spaces. We establish the Doob＇s inequality, the Burkholder-Gundy inequality and the boundedness of martingale transforms for our martingale Morrey spaces. We also introduce the martingale block spaces. By the Doob＇s inequality on martingale block spaces, we obtain the Davis＇ decompositions for martingale Morrey spaces.

The deep cement mixing(DCM)is used to improve the capacity and reduce the settlement of the soft ground by forming cemented clay *** investigation on the mechanical behaviour of the DCM samples is limited to either laboratory-prepared samples or in-situ samples under unconfined *** this study,a series of drained and undrained triaxial shearing tests was performed on the in-situ cored DCM samples with high cement content to assess their mechanical *** is found that the drainage condition affects significantly the stiffness,peak and residual strengths of the DCM samples,which is mainly due to the state of excess pore water pressure at different strain levels,*** positive before the peak deviatoric stress and negative after the peak deviatoric stress,in the undrained *** slope of the failure envelope changes obviously with the confining pressures,being steeper at lower stress levels and flatter at higher stress *** strength parameters,effective cohesion and friction angle obtained from lower stress levels(c′0 andφ′0)are 400 kPa and 58°,respectively,which are deemed to be true for design in most DCM applications where the in-situ stress levels are normally at lower values of 50-200 ***,the computed tomography(CT)scanning system was adopted to visualize the internal structures of DCM *** is found that the clay pockets existing inside the DCM samples due to uneven mixing affect markedly their stress-strain behaviour,which is one of the main reasons for the high variability of the DCM samples.

It has long been asserted that failure to recover from central nervous system diseases is due to the system's intricate structure and the regenerative incapacity of adult *** over recent decades,numerous studies have established that endogenous neurogenesis occurs in the adult central nervous system,including humans'.This has challenged the long-held scientific consensus that the number of adult neurons remains constant,and that new central nervous system neurons cannot be created or ***,we present a comprehensive overview of the alterations and regulatory mechanisms of endogenous neurogenesis following central nervous system injury,and describe novel treatment strategies that to rget endogenous neurogenesis and newborn neurons in the treatment of central nervous system *** nervous system injury frequently results in alterations of endogenous neurogenesis,encompassing the activation,proliferation,ectopic migration,diffe rentiation,and functional integration of endogenous neural stem *** of the unfavorable local microenvironment,most activated neural stem cells diffe rentiate into glial cells rather than ***,the injury-induced endogenous neurogenesis response is inadequate for repairing impaired neural *** have attempted to enhance endogenous neurogenesis using various strategies,including using neurotrophic factors,bioactive materials,and cell reprogramming *** alone or in combination,these therapeutic strategies can promote targeted migration of neural stem cells to an injured area,ensure their survival and diffe rentiation into mature functional neurons,and facilitate their integration into the neural *** can integration re plenish lost neurons after central nervous system injury,by improving the local *** regulating each phase of endogenous neurogenesis,endogenous neural stem cells can be harnessed to promote effective regeneration of newborn ***

This study aimed to report the outcomes of active surveillance(AS)in the management of low-risk prostate cancer(PCa).It recruited87 men who were prospectively followed up according to the Prostate Cancer Research International Active Surveillance(PRIAS)protocol with local adaptation at SH ho Urology Centre,Prince of Wales hospital,hong Kong,*** investigated the predictorsof disease progression and found that baseline prostate-specific antigen density(PSAD)and the presence of the highest ProstateImaging-Reporting and Data System(PI-RADS)score 5 lesion on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)are significantly correlatedwith disease ***,men with PSAD>0.2 ng ml^(−2)or PI-RADS 4 or 5 lesions had significantly worse upgradingfree survival compared to those with PSAD≤0.2 ng ml−2 and PI-RADS 2 or 3 *** study concludes that AS is a safe andeffective management strategy for selected patients to defer radical treatment and that most disease progression can be detectedafter the first repeated *** combination of PSAD>0.2 ng ml^(−2)and PI-RADS 4 or 5 lesions may serve as a useful predictorof early disease progression and provide a guide to optimize follow-up protocols for men in different risk groups.

Low-thermal-budget,electrically active,and thick polysilicon films are necessary for building a microelectromechanical system(MEMS)on top of a complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS).however,the formation of these polysilicon films is a challenge in this ***,for the first time,the development of in situ phosphorus-doped silicon films deposited under ultrahigh-vacuum conditions(~10^(−9)Torr)using electron-beam evaporation(UHVEE)is *** process results in electrically active,fully crystallized,low-stress,smooth,and thick polysilicon films with low thermal *** crystallographic,mechanical,and electrical properties of phosphorus-doped UHVEE polysilicon films are *** films are compared with intrinsic and boron-doped UHVEE silicon *** spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and atomic force microscopy(AFM)are used for crystallographic and surface morphological *** curvature,cantilever deflection profile and resonance frequency measurements are employed to study the mechanical properties of the ***,resistivity measurements are conducted to investigate the electrical properties of the *** vertical,high-aspectratio micromachining of UHVEE polysilicon has been developed.A comb-drive structure is designed,simulated,fabricated,and characterized as an actuator and inertial sensor comprising 20-μm-thick in situ phosphorus-doped UHVEE films at a temperature less than 500℃.The results demonstrate for the first time that UHVEE polysilicon uniquely allows the realization of mechanically and electrically functional MEMS devices with low thermal budgets.

Multiple helicenes display distinct aromatic cores characterized by highly twisted rings that are shared or fused with constituent helicene *** these aromatic cores unlocks avenues for creating multiple helicenes with distinct properties and *** we report the synthesis of a quadruple[6]helicene featuring pyrene as the aromatic *** synthesis involved key steps of the annulativeπ-extension reaction and Scholl *** extending multiple helicenes along the axial direction,the degree of contortion of the aromatic core can be controlled from nearly flat to highly ***,quadruple[6]-helicene exhibits a significant red-shift of 0.49 eV compared to quadruple[4]-helicenes,of which the red-shift arises from bothπ-extension and augmented effective conjugation due to enhanced *** chemical calculations demonstrate that the degree of contortion in the pyrene core adeptly governs the energy levels of the hoMO and LUMO,which offers an alternative strategy beyond mere enlargement of theπ*** intriguing serendipitous finding reveals the formation of one-molecule-thick supramolecular homochiral nanosheets through selfinterlocking interactions of enantiomers in single crystals,a rare packing motif for multiple helicenes.
