The development of highly efficient,solution-processable,and environmentally stable perovskite quantum dots(PQDs)is crucial for their accurate high-resolution patterning and subsequently enabling the practical deployment of PQD based emissive display *** study presents an innovative strategy for integrating all-inorganic PQDs and ultraviolet(UV)crosslinkable acrylate polymer at a structural and functional *** achievement is accomplished by meticulous design and one-pot synthesis of UV-crosslinkable CsPbX3(X=Cl,Br,I)PQDs solution,which exhibit outstanding environmental *** the solution-processable characteristics of the resulting UV-crosslinkable PQDs,precise patterning of high-resolution(2μm,7608 pixels·in.-1)and colorful PQDs microarrays can be readily achieved through inkjet printing and high-throughput photolithography(~2μm in pitch line/space patterning).The UV cross-linked process guarantees a homogeneous distribution of PQDs,effectively mitigating coffee ring effect and improving the overall quality of stereoscopic *** photo-cured PQDs film,which undergoes free radical photopolymerization,displays an impressive photoluminescence quantum yield(PL QY)of up to 89.2%,reaching 98%of the value observed in the solution *** approach outlined in this research is both cost-effective and pragmatic,exhibiting tremendous promise for diverse system-level integrated optoelectronic devices,such as ultra-high-resolution micro-light-emitting device(micro-LED)displays.

Full-spectrum phosphor-converted white-light-emitting diodes(pc-WLED)are emerging as a mainstream technology in semiconductor ***,high-performance blue phosphor which can be excited efficiently by a 400 nm NUV diode chip is still ***,we present a blue-emitting Na_(3)KMg_(7)(PO_(4))6:Eu^(2+)phosphor synthesized by the solid-reaction ***,we find that the using of Li_(2)CO_(3)as flux can significantly improve the crystal quality and thus the emission efficiency of the ***,the excitation peak of the phosphor shifts from 365 to 400 nm,which is pivotal for efficient NUV(400 nm)diode chip *** practical Eu^(2+)concentration is also enhanced by using Li_(2)CO_(3)as flux,and the absorption efficiency is greatly *** phosphor exhibits superior PL thermal stability,namely retains 94%integrated photoluminescence intensity at 150℃of that at 25℃.As a result,the optimized phosphor shows an emission band peaked at 437 nm with a bandwidth of 40 nm and a high external photoluminescence quantum yield of 51.7%.Finally,a pc-WLED was fabricated by using NKMPO:Eu^(2+)blue,Sr_(2)SiO_(4):Eu^(2+)green,CaAlSiN_(3):Eu^(2+)red phosphors,and a 400 nm NUV diode *** shows a high color rendering index of R_(a)=96.4 and a correlated color temperature of 4358 *** results prove that NKMPO:Eu^(2+)is a promising blue phosphor for full-spectrum WLED based on NUV diode chips.

Precursor chemistry towards highly efficient and phase-stable red emitting CsPbI_(3) perovskite nanocrystals

All-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals(CsPbX_(3),X=Cl,Br,I)have attracted considerable scientific and technological interest due to their precise bandgap tunability,high color purity and efficient ***,their poor stability in harsh conditions such as moisture,ultraviolet(UV)light irradiation and high temperature,is a major obstacle for their further commercial ***,by simply using a new type of precursor,namely“HPbX_(3)”(X=Cl,Br,I),we can achieve the coordination equilibrium for Pb precursors during reaction and obtain high-quality perovskite nanocrystals with tremendously enhanced luminous efficiency and chemical stability based on hot-injection *** prepared a-CsPbb nanocrystals exhibit an extremely high photoluminescence quantum yield of 96%and keep stable in air for more than two months without any post-synthesis ***,stability evaluations under UV light irradiation,water or thermal impact are also performed and the results show substantially improved stability of these nanocrystals as compared with the samples prepared using traditional Pbl_(2) as *** temperature-dependent(10-300 K)steady and transient spectral analysis combined with compositional measurements,it is revealed that the lower structural defect density,which is guaranteed by abundant halogen when using HPbX3 as precursor,is the most important reason for such performance enhancement.

The practical application of all-inorganic semiconductor lead halide perovskite nanocrystals(LHP NCs)has been limited by their poor ***,a lot of research on core-shell structure has been done to improve the stability of perovskite NCs,but the effect was far from the application ***,we,for the first time,report a convenient approach to synthesize organic-inorganic double shell CsPbBr_(3)@SiO_(2)@polystyrene(PS)NCs with an inter-core of CsPbBr_(3),the intermediate layer of SiO_(2)shell,and outmost PS ***,the CsPbBr_(3)@SiO_(2)@PS NCs maintained more than 90%of their initial photoluminescence(PL)intensity under one month's ultraviolet lamp irradiation or in 85℃ and 85%relative humidity(RH)*** white-light-emitting-diodes(WLEDs)were fabricated by encapsulating commercial InGaN chip with CsPbBr_(3)@SiO_(2)@PS NCs and K2SiF6:Mn^(4+)(KSF:Mn^(4+))phosphor with a luminous efficacy of~100 lm/W at 20 mA current and a color gamut of 128%of the National Television Standards Committee(NTSC)*** addition,these WLEDs still maintain 91%of the initial luminous efficacy after 1200 h of continuous *** results demonstrated that double shell-protected CsPbBr_(3)perovskite NCs have great potential in the field of WLEDs.

Ballistic transport in nanoscale self-switching devices

Using the Monte Carlo method,a type of semiconductor nano-device called self-switching device (SSD),which has diode-like I-V characteristics,was *** analyzing the microscopic transport behavior of the carriers,we show that the ballistic effects exist in the SSDs when the channel length of the device is extremely short (～120 nm).Furthermore,we show that the ballistic effect doubles the average drift velocity of the carriers (to ～6.0×107 cm/s) in short-channel SSDs,which decreases the transit *** implies that when the dimensions are decreased to nanoscale length,the SSD can operate much faster because the ballistic effect increases the operation speed of the ***,because of the ballistic transport,the energy efficiency may also be improved.

Electronic Ratchet Nanodiodes

Using a two-dimensional ensemble Monte Carlo (EMC) method, electronic nanometer devices with different parameters are studied in detail. Calculation results show that at nanoscale the electric properties of interface inside the devices play an important role in determining the working properties of the devices. By properly arranging device structures, surface charges originated from device fabrication can be exploited to produce a predetermined electric potential in the devices. Based on this fact, two structures that can lead to an asymmetric potential along their nanochannel are proposed for designing strong nonlinear devices. Further studies indicate that Ratchet effect brought by the asymmetric potential results in diode-like current-voltage characteristics of the devices. Through optimizing device parameters, zero threshold voltage can be achieved, which is desired for detecting applications. Moreover, since the devices are at nanoscale, simulation results reveal that used as rectifiers the working frequencies can be up to a few THz.

Riverine sulfate sources and behaviors in arid environment,Northwest China:Constraints from sulfur and oxygen isotopes

The fate of riverine sulfate ion (SO_(4)^(2-)) and its environmental effects in arid environment are difficult to evaluate due to its complicated sources and strongly coupled behaviors with water cycle which is significantly modified by *** understand the sulfur cycle in aquatic systems in arid environment,the chemical and sulfur and oxygen isotopic compositions (δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)) of major rivers around the Badain Jaran Desert,northwestern China,were *** rivers had averaged SO_(4)^(2-)content at 1336μmol/L,over 10times higher than the global *** δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)values ranged from-5.3‰to+11.8‰and+1.6‰to+12.8‰,*** end-member analysis and the inverse model showed that riverine sulfate was mainly derived from evaporites dissolution (0-87%),sulfide oxidation (13%-100%) and precipitation (0-33%),indicating heterogeneity in sulfur sources and behaviors along the river drainage with the lithology variations and climate *** isotopic tools combining with hydro-chemistry compositions could be applied to reveal sulfur cycle in arid *** on the calculation,sulfide oxidation plays the primary role in the headwater and upstream in the Qilian-Mountains area,where sulfide is widely *** the proportion of evaporites dissolution contributing to riverine sulfate is much higher in downstream in a drier ***,less precipitation and higher temperature can lead to more intensive evaporation,affecting the process of sulfide oxidation and enhancing the rates of evaporites dissolution and sulfate precipitation in the basin.

Laboratory evaluation of high-friction thin overlays for pavement preservation

Traditional asphalt concrete(AC)and stone matrix asphalt(SMA),which are used as thin asphalt overlays,are common maintenance strategies to enhancing ride quality,skid resistance,and ***,several studies have used a novel asphalt mixture known as a high-friction thin overlay(HFTO)to improve surface ***,it remains uncertain whether the laboratory properties of HFTO differ significantly from those of conventional *** study aims to evaluate the laboratory properties of HFTO mixtures and compare them with those of AC and *** mixtures with nominal maximum size of 9.5 mm were produced in the laboratory,and performance tests were conducted,including wheel tracking test,low temperature flexural creep test,moisture susceptibility test,Cantabro Abrasion Test,Marshall Test,sand patch test,British pendulum test,and indoor tire-rollingdown *** results showed that the HFTO exhibited a lower tire/pavement noise than the AC and ***,HFTO had superior high-temperature stability,larger macro texture,and higher skid resistance in comparison to those of AC,but lower than those of ***,HFTO mixtures may be considered a suitable replacement for traditional AC mixtures in regions where skid resistance and noise reduction are concerns.

Aldehyde oxidase mediated enantioselective metabolic health risk of dinotefuran

Chiral pollutants often pose significant differential environmental health *** this study,the biotransformation of chiral dinotefuran(DIN)and its enantioselective metabolic toxicity mechanisms have been systemically ***,reversedphase chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry was developed to quantify the content of DIN R/S chiral enantiomer with pg level sensitivity,revealing a lower elimination rate constant(K_(e))of S-DIN(0.730 h^(-1))than R-DIN(0.746 h^(-1)).Secondly,the interaction mechanism between DIN metabolism and important endogenous bioactive molecules,such as aldehyde oxidase(AOX)and neurotransmitters,was *** DIN nitro-group was converted into a guanidine group by the reducing site of nearby flavin adenine dinucleotide(FAD)in AOX with the preferred higher affinity of ***,the endogenous tryptophan(Trp)aldehyde metabolic intermediate,5-hydroxyindoleacetaldehyde(5-HIAL),provides a persistent electron donor for DIN reduction via the oxidation-catalyzed site in AOX,resulting in remarkable up-regulation of monoamine neurotransmitters such as serotonin and ***,the higher level of neurotransmitters further mediated dysregulation of oxylipin homeostasis via the serotonergic pathway,where S-DIN exhibited more pronounced liver lipid damage and environmental health risk with the accumulated lipid biomarkers,oxidized triglyceride(OxTG)and oxidized sphingomyelin(OxSM).This study elucidates the AOX-mediated enantioselectivity metabolic pathway of DIN,providing a new analytical method for chiral pollutants and paves the way for their health risk assessments.
