The title compound,（E）-5-methoxy-2-（（4-methoxyphenylimino）methyl）phenol（C15H15NO3）,crystallizes in monoclinic,space group P21/c with a=9.4361（6）,b=10.6212（5）,c=12.9338（9）,β=93.064（5）o,V=1294.41（14）3,Z=4,Dc=1.320 g/cm3,F（000）=544,Rint=0.116,T=296 K,μ=0.09 mm-1,the final R=0.051 and wR=0.148 for 1836 observed reflections with i2σ（i）.An extensive two-dimensional network of C–H…O hydrogen bonds and π-ring interactions are responsible for the crystal *** hydrogen bonds and C–H…π interactions produce R22（14）,R44（30） and R44（31） *** addition to the molecular geometry from X-ray experiment,the molecular geometry of the title compound in the ground state has been calculated using the semi-empirical（AM1 and PM3） and density functional theory method（DFT）（B3LyP） with 6-31G（d） basis *** determine the conformational flexibility,molecular energy profile of the title compound was obtained by semi-empirical（PM3 and AM1） and DFT/B3LyP calculations with respect to the selected degree of torsional freedom,which varied from –180° to ＋180° in a step of 10°.

Asymmetric hydrogenation reaction is one of the most efficient synthetic methods to form useful chiral compounds for synthetic chemistry,medicinal chemistry and material ***,the enantioselectivity of many hydrogenation reactions is controlled by steric hindrance between the chiral ligand and ***,Zhang group developed a highly asymmetric hydrogenation of 2-aryl and 2-alkyl acrylic acids catalyzed by a Rh(l)catalyst with a chiral Wudaphos *** excellent enantioselectivity of this asymmetric reaction was proposed to be controlled by ion-pair interaction between the substrate and chiral *** this study,a systematic density functional theory study has been carried out to investigate the reaction mechanism and origin of the *** computational results suggest that this reaction follows the classic mechanism involving oxidative addition of H_(2),migratory insertion and reductive *** from the C=C coordination to the metal in the common oxidative addition step,our study found that the chelation of the carboxyl group of the substrate to the cationic Rh(l)metal is more favorable in this oxidative addition *** high enantioselectivity is proposed to be dictated by a better catalyst/substrate geometric complementarity in the major pathway to have less distortion of the catalyst for a strong ion-pair interaction.

This paper proposes a cryptographic technique on images based on the Sudoku *** is a number puzzle,which needs applying defined protocols and filling the empty boxes with *** a small size of numbers as input,solving the sudoku puzzle yields an expanded big size of numbers,which can be used as a key for the Encryption/Decryption of *** this way,the given small size of numbers can be stored as the prime key,which means the key is compact.A prime key clue in the sudoku puzzle always leads to only one solution,which means the key is always *** feature is the background for the paper,where the Sudoku puzzle output can be innovatively introduced in image *** solution is expanded to any size image using a sequence of expansion techniques that involve filling of the number matrix,Linear X-y rotational shifting,and reverse shifting based on a standard zig-zag *** crypto key for an image dictates the details of positions,where the image pixels have to be *** is made at two levels,namely pixel and sub-pixel(RGB)levels for an image,with the latter having more effective *** brought-out technique falls under the image scrambling method with partial *** metrics are impressive and are given by a Histogram deviation of 0.997,a Correlation coefficient of 10−2 and an NPCR of 99.98%.Hence,it is evident that the image cryptography with the sudoku kept in place is more efficient against Plaintext and Differential attacks.

Flexible spin valves were prepared by magnetron sputtering on polyimide substrates. The buffer layer that reduces significantly the effect of the polymer substrate on the spin valve microstructure and magnetoresistive properties was revealed. Bending deformation was applied to the microobjects based on the flexible spin valves in parallel to anisotropy axes. it was revealed that during the bend the magnetoresistance changes due to the joint impact of both the change of the magnetic field projection on the film plane and the change of the magnetic properties of the ferromagnetic layers. The obtained dependences have been used in construction of bending sensor, in which the flexible spin valve microstripes were united into the Wheatstone bridge.

水稻生育过程中，ＲｕＢＰ羧化酶活性与光合速率、ＲｕＢＰ加氧酶活性与光呼吸速率、ＲｕＢＰ羧化酶活性与加氢酶活性以及光合速率与光呼吸速率之间是相关的。籼型品种与粳型品种间酶活性的高低及光合、光呼吸速率的高低基本一致，籼型三系杂交稻（Ｆ１）无明显的光合优势。酶的羧化活性的高低只在一定范围内与光合速率的高低平行。在正常生育条件下，酶蛋白的数量不是水稻光合速率的限制因子。

Plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)is a promising surface treatment to generate adherent and thick anti-corrosive coating on light-weight metals(Al,Mg,Ti,etc.)using an eco-friendly alkaline *** energy plasma,however,inevitably generates porous structures that limit their practical *** present study proposes a straight-forward simple method by utilizing sub-zero electrolyte(268 K)to alter the plasma characteristics during formation of the protective coating on AZ31 Mg alloy via PEO with a comparison to the electrolyte at room temperature(298 K).in refrigerated electrolyte,the formation of micro-defects is suppressed relatively at the expense of low coating growth,which is measured to be twice lower than that at 298 K due to the temperature-dependent soft plasma discharges contributing to the development of the present *** a consequence,corrosion resistance of the sample processed at 268 K is superior to that of 298K,implying that the effect of coating thickness is less dominant than that of *** phenomenon is interpreted in relation to the ionic movement and oxide solidification controlled by soft plasma discharges arising from the temperature gradient between electrolyte and surface of the substrate during PEO.

The open question of where, when, and how the heavy elements beyond iron enrich our Universe has triggered a new era in nuclear physics studies. Of all the relevant nuclear physics inputs, the mass of very neutron-rich nuclides is a key quantity for revealing the origin of heavy elements beyond iron. Although the precise determination of this property is a great challenge, enormous progress has been made in recent decades, and it has contributed significantly to both nuclear structure and astrophysical nucleosynthesis studies. in this review, we first survey our present knowledge of the nuclear mass surface, emphasizing the importance of nuclear mass precision in r-process calculations. We then discuss recent progress in various methods of nuclear mass measurement with a few selected examples. For each method, we focus on recent breakthroughs and discuss possible ways of improving the weighing of r-process nuclides.

Qualitative Land Suitability Evaluation for Main irrigated Crops in the Shahrekord Plain, iran: A Geostatistical Approach Compared with Conventional Method

The purity of soil map units and their quality for various uses like land suitability evaluation are always *** main objective of this study was to compare the precision of qualitative land suitability classification based on geostatistical and conventional soil mapping methods for main irrigated crops in the Shahrekord Plain,Central iran.A regular grid sampling method consisting 104sample points was designed and soil samples were *** kriged maps were achieved for all studied soil attributes after physico-chemical ***,to combine kriged maps and ecological requirements of the studied crops,a script was designed in iLWiS 3.4 software and consequently,kriged qualitative land suitability maps were *** qualitative land suitability was also mapped based on the representative pedon analysis in each soil map ***,comparison of the conventional and kriged maps was carried out using the statistical method,error *** results showed that the overall accuracies of wheat,sugar beet,potato and alfalfa maps were 39.8%,24.3%,18.7%and 18.6%at subclass category,respectively,whereas these values increased to80.9%,82.3%,23.7%and 82.3%at class level,***,it can be stated that thanks to the relative facility of conventional soil survey compared with geostatistical methods,this method can be expressed as a preferable way for handling a usual land suitability evaluation design;but using soil map units as land suitability delineations may lead to unsatisfactory results in estimation of quantity and type of existing limitations.
