A light-weight high-entropy alloy （LWHEA） A120Be20Fe10SilsTi35 has been developed to have unique mechanical properties and oxidation resistance. One major and two minor phases are observed in the as-east microstructure. The density of the alloy is 3.91 gcm-3, and its hardness is HV 911, which is higher than quartz. The hardness and hardness to density ratio are the highest of all light-weight alloys reported before. In addition, it has excellent oxidation resistance at 700℃ and 900℃, which far exceeds that of Ti-6A1-4V. Thus, the combination of properties is promising for high-temperature applications, which require light weight, wear-resistant and oxidation-resistant components.

With the rapid growth of electronic commerce and associated demands on variants of Internet based applications,application systems providing network resources and business services are in high demand around the *** guarantee robust security and computational efficiency for service retrieval,a variety of authentication schemes have been ***,most of these schemes have been found to be lacking when subject to a formal security ***,Chang et al.(2014) introduced a formally provable secure authentication protocol with the property of ***,based on our analysis,the proposed scheme fails to provide the property of user-untraceability as claimed,and is insecure against user impersonation attack,server counterfeit attack,and man-in-the-middle *** this paper,we demonstrate the details of these malicious attacks.A security enhanced authentication scheme is proposed to eliminate all identified weaknesses.

The approach of utilizing combustion synthesis to make fine particles of SiO2, A12O3 and TiO2 is a quite modern technology. Through the chemical reaction in post-flame region, fine SiO2 particles can be formed with high purity on plate surface. Therefore, the combustion synthesis of SiO2 powders is an important area for further research and development especially for the application of SiO2 in the semiconductor industry. This investigation proposes an experimental approach （i.e., a gas-phase combustion synthesis） using two different kinds of organic compounds, Hexamethyldisilazane （HMDSA） and Hexamethyldisioxane （HMDSO）, as the silicon precursors. A premixed gas burner is chosen with C3H8 as fuel air as oxidant and part of the air was used as the carrying gas to entrain HMDSA/HMDSO vapor into the combustible mixture. Observations show that the C3H8/air flame changed color from a pale-blue flame to light yellow and then orange when different amounts of precursors were introduced. Through the chemical reaction in the post-flame region, fine SiO2 particles were formed in the gas phase and then quenched and collectal on an aluminum flat plate. The objective of this paper is to study the effects of HMDSO and HMDSA concentrations and flame temperatures on the synthesis of SiO2 particles.

The controversial outcomes in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)highlight the need for developing effective systemic neoadjuvant treatment strategies to improve clinical *** optimal treatment cycles in patients with mCRC for metastasectomy remain undeﬁ*** retrospective study compared the efﬁcacy,safety,and survival of cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy/targeted therapy for such ***-four patients with mCRC who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy/targeted therapy following metastasectomy were enrolled between January 2018 and April ***-eight patients received 6 cycles of chemotherapy/targeted therapy,whereas 36 patients received≥7 cycles(median,13;range,7–20).Clinical outcomes,including response,progression-free survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),and adverse events,were compared between these two *** the 64 patients,47(73.4%)were included in the response group,and 17(26.6%)were included in the nonresponse *** analysis revealed chemotherapy/targeted therapy cycle and pretreatment serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)level as independent predictors of the response as well as overall survival and chemotherapy/targeted therapy cycle as an independent predictor of progression(all p0.05).The median OS and PFS were 48 months(95%CI,40.855–55.145)and 28 months(95%CI,18.952–37.48)in the≥7-cycle group and 24 months(95%CI,22.038–25.962)and 13 months(95%CI,11.674–14.326)in the 6-cycle group,respectively(both p<0.001).The oncological outcomes in the≥7-cycle group were signiﬁcantly better than those in the 6-cycle group,without signiﬁcant increases in adverse ***,prospective randomized trials are mand

Thirteen samples of PM(coarse)and PM2.5(fine)were collected by Universal Air Sampler from February to March,2010 in Kaohsiung for investigating the impact of chemical composition of Asian dust storms(DS)and non-DS(NDS)in southern *** on back trajectories,two dust storm episodes were identified by different transport *** analysis results were used to distinguish the behavior of metallic composition and particle size(coarse and fine particle fraction)between two DS(DSI and DSII)and NDS *** two DS episodes,metallic elements of Mn,Co,Al,Ca,Fe and Mg were significantly higher in concentrations of coarse fraction compared with NDS *** elemental ratios of DSI/NDS and DSII/NDS were from 3.1 to 3.9 and 9.0 to28.2,*** fraction in fine size particles was observed during NDS periods,while the coarse fraction contributed major mass during two DS *** mass ratios(coarse particle/PM10)for NDS,DSI and DSII were approximately 29%,55%and 72%,*** elements showed higher enrichment factor(EF)values during NDS periods,compared with two DS *** may be ascribed to the excessive impact of crustal elements such as Al carried by two DS episodes.

Objective: This study evaluated the effectiveness of acupuncture treatment on postoperative pain in patients with degenerative lumbar spine disease, and explored the relationship between the postoperative analgesic effect of acupuncture and the sensation of acupuncture experienced by the ***: This retrospective study analyzed the medical records of 97 patients who had undergone an operation by the same surgeon due to degenerative lumbar disease. These patients were divided into acupuncture group(n = 32), patient-controlled analgesia(PCA) group(n = 27), and oral analgesia group(n = 38) according to the different postoperative analgesic methods. During their hospitalization, patients completed daily evaluations of their pain using a visual analogue scale(VAS), and injection times of supplemental meperidine were recorded. Also, the Chinese version of the Massachusetts General Hospital Acupuncture Sensation Scale(C-MASS) was used in the acupuncture ***: Each of the three treatment groups showed significant reductions in postoperative pain, as shown by reduced VAS scores. The acupuncture group, however, had less rebound pain(P < 0.05) than the other two groups. Both the acupuncture and PCA groups experienced acute analgesic effects that were superior to those in the oral analgesia group. In addition, the higher the C-MASS index on the second day after surgery, the lower the VAS score on the fourth day after surgery. There was also a significant difference in the“dull pain” in the acupuncture ***: The results demonstrated that acupuncture was beneficial for postoperative pain and discomfort after simple surgery for degenerative spinal disease. It is worth noting that there was a disproportionate relevance between the patient’s acupuncture sensation and the improvement of pain VAS score.
