Development of cost-effective, highly reproducible non-conventional fabrication techniques for anisotropic metal nanostructures is essential to realizing potential applications of plasmonic devices, photonic devices, and surface enhanced Raman scattering （SERS） phenomenon based sensors. This report highlights the fabrication of nanotriangle arrays via nanoimprinting to overcome difficulties in creating large-area SERS active substrates with uniform, reproducible Raman signals. Electron beam lithography of anisotropic nanostructures, formation of arrays of nanotriangles in silicon and the transfer of triangular shapes to polymethylmethacrylate （PMMA） sheets via nanoimprinting have not been reported elsewhere. The reuse of silicon masters offers potential for production of low cost SERS substrates. The SERS activity and reproducibility of nanotriangles are illustrated and a consistent average enhancement factor of up to -2.9 × 1011, which is the highest value reported for a patterned SERS substrate, is achieved.

A new phosphate, Na2.5Y0.5Mg7(PO4)6 was synthesized as single crystals by the flux method and as a powdered sample by the Pechini technique, and investigated by single crystal X-ray diffraction, charge distribution (CD) and 31P NMR spectroscopy. The elementary mechanistic model of adsorption and sorption is based on a simple hypothesis： the adsorption sites are uniformly distnbuted on the surface of the pore walls in the adsorbent, the sorption sites are uniformly distributed in the volume of the polymer. In this first paper we will analyze the simple case where one solute molecule is only allowed to occupy a single adsorption or sorption site. A common elementary occupation law of the free sites is assumed： the differential increase of the number of the adsorbed/sorbed molecules is proportional to the differential increase of the activity of the solute and the concentration of the free （non-occupied） sites in the solid. The proportionality coefficient is called affinity coefficient depending on the solid/solute couple and on the temperature and independent of the concentration of the solute. In adsorption the concentration of the free sites is a surface concentration on the pore walls and in sorption it is expressed by the molarity. The simple monolayer adsorption law of Jovanovic is obtained： n = no（1 - e KP） where n is the number of moles adsorbed when the pressure is P. no is the total number of adsorption sites and K the affinity coefficient for adsorption. The sorption law writes： a = 1/k [Ф/1-Ф] ＋ 1-r/k In [1 ＋ 1/r Ф/1-Ф] where Ф, r and k hold respectively for the volume fraction of the solvent in the polymer, for the ratio of the molar volumes of the solvent to the elementary polymer chain containing one single adsorption site and for the sorption affinity coefficient. The confrontation of these equations to experimental isotherms is satisfactory in comparison with the classical Langmuir and Flory-Huggins equations： the best results are obtained for adsorption of vapors on a 5A zeolite and for all analyzed sorption results.

This article provides a review of the research unde rt aken in order to determine the suitability of utilizing microwave technology in the production of Recycled ABS Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene resin for mouldin gs. The experimental investigation determined the suitability of the existing re cycled ABS material, the mould material used with respect to performance and lon gevity, potential commercial plant and equipment, end mould compression. Introduction Frequency Characterization of ABS The first step in microwave processing of any material is to locate a frequency band suitable for the mateiial, where it absorbs microwave energy readily. To lo cate this band width, the ABS material was characterized in Variable Frequency M icrowave Ovens operating between the frequenc’y ranges of 2.5 GHz to 6.5 GHz an d 6 GHz to 18 GHz. The variable frequency microwave oven records forward and ref lected powers over regular intervals in the swept frequency range and enables ca lculation of Re flec tan ce=Re fla tan ce forwrd PowerForward Power (1) A low reflectance indicates that the material Forward Power absorbs rela tively higher amount of incident microwave energy. Lime-induced iron chlorosis is a major nutritional disorder causing severe plant growth and yield reduction in the calcareous soils of *** understanding the behavior of key metabolic functions of peas on calcareous soils,the identification of useful traits of tolerance,and the exploration of the genotypic differences in response to this constraint remain the most efficient approaches due to their coast,environmental benefits,and *** this purpose,a greenhouse experiment was conducted on three pea genotypes(Alexandra:Alex,Douce de provence:DP,and Merveille de Kelvedon:MK)cultivated on calcareous soil(Fe-deficient)and fertile soil(control).Plant growth,SPAD index,iron nutrition and distribution,photosynthesis,and antioxidant enzymes were deeply analyzed to discriminate genotypic ***-induced iron deficiency reduced SPAD index,plant growth,net photosynthesis,and tissue Fe content against a significant stimulation of the oxidative stress indicators,H2O2 and Malondialdehyde(MDA).Moreover,we reported a significant induction of SOD and CAT activity in shoots and roots of the Alexandra *** use efficiency increased on calcareous soil and clearly discriminated the studied *** genotype was found to be the most tolerant to lime-induced iron *** genotype protects its tissues against oxidative stress by stimulating enzyme activities(SOD and CAT)and develops significant efficiency of Fe uptake,translocation to shoots and use when cultivated on calcareous soil.

In the last decade,North Africa has witnessed significant population growth,particularly those bordering the Mediterranean *** led to increased demand for groundwater,which is an essential source for various water uses such as drinking water supplies and ***,human activities play a crucial role in the different quantitative and qualitative changes in ***,climate changes such as a decrease in precipitation have also led to a shortage of water resources and a decline in the groundwater *** paper presents the impact of climate changes on groundwater resources in the Ain Azel region,Setif,northeastern *** analysis of longterm spatiotemporal variability in rainfall over 63 years(1958–2021)revealed a significant decline in groundwater recharge,especially after *** contrast,the Pettitt and Mann–Kendall tests show increased temperatures with breaks between 1984 and 1986.A piezometric analysis of the alluvial aquifer demonstrated a significant decline in groundwater levels in the last 20 *** analysis showed that groundwater in the region is dominated by Ca–Mg–Cl water type,which indicates the presence of water salinity *** Quality Index(WQI)analysis showed the deterioration of groundwater in the area,which may be caused by several factors:brine intrusion from the Salt Lake(Sebkha)in the north;the dissolution of evaporites(Triassic)and/or anthropogenic sources of agricultural and industrial *** findings provide an overview summarizing the state of groundwater,which will help improve groundwater resource management in the region in the coming years.

In this study,we focus on the numerical modelling of the interaction between waves and submerged structures in the presence of a uniform flow *** the same and opposite senses of wave propagation are *** main objective is an understanding of the effect of the current and various geometrical parameters on the reflection *** wave used in the study is based on potential theory,and the submerged structures consist of two rectangular breakwaters positioned at a fixed distance from each other and attached to the bottom of a wave *** numerical modeling approach employed in this work relies on the Boundary Element Method(BEM).The results are compared with experimental data to validate the *** findings of the study demonstrate that the double rectangular breakwater configuration exhibits superior wave attenuation abilities if compared to a single rectangular breakwater,particularly at low ***,the study reveals that wave mitigation is more pronounced when the current and wave propagation are coplanar,whereas it is less effective in the case of opposing current.

Photocatalytic degradation of Bisphenol A （BPA）, a representative endocrine disruptor chemical, was carried out under irradiation of sunlight in the presence of CexZn1-xO nanophotocatalyst. Cerium （Ce） ions were successfully incorporated into the bulk lattice of ZnO by simple co-precipitation process. The CexZn1-xO composite nanostructures exhibited higher photocatalytic efficiency than pure ZnO in the degradation of BPA under sunlight irradiation and nearly complete mineralization of BPA was achieved. The degradation rate was strongly dependent on factors such as the size and structure of catalyst, doping material concentration, BPA concentration, catalyst load, irradiation time and pH levels. This work suggested that the CexZn1-xO assisted photocatalytic degradation is a versatile, economic, environmentally benign and efficient method for BPA removal in the aqueous environment.

Genetic algorithms are successfully used for decoding some classes of error correcting codes, and offer very good performances for solving large optimization problems. This article proposes a new decoder based on Serial Genetic Algorithm Decoder (SGAD) for decoding Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes. The results show that the proposed algorithm gives large gains over sum-product decoder, which proves its efficiency.
