Pneumonia is a common lung disease that is more prone to affect the elderly and those with weaker respiratory ***,hospital medical resources are limited,and sometimes the workload of physicians is too high,which can affect their ***,a good medical assistance system is of great significance for improving the quality of medical *** study proposed an integrated system by combining transfer learning and gradient-weighted class activation mapping(Grad-CAM).Pneumonia is a common lung disease that is generally diagnosed using ***,in areaswith limited medical resources,a shortage of medical personnel may result in delayed diagnosis and treatment during the critical ***,overworked physicians may make diagnostic ***,having an X-ray pneumonia diagnosis assistance system is a significant tool for improving the quality of medical *** result indicates that the best results were obtained by a ResNet50 pretrained model combined with a fully connected classification layer.A retraining procedure was designed to improve accuracy by using gradient-weighted class activation mapping(Grad-CAM),which detects the misclassified images and adds weights to *** the evaluation tests,the final combined model is named Grad-CAM Based Pneumonia Network(GCPNet)out performed its counterparts in terms of accuracy,precision,and F1 score and reached 97.2%*** integrated system is proposed to increase model performance where Grad-CAM and transfer learning are ***-CAM is used to generate the heatmap,which shows the region that the model is focusing *** outcomes of this research can aid in diagnosing pneumonia symptoms,as themodel can accurately classify chest X-ray images,and the heatmap can assist doctors in observing the crucial areas.

High voltage is necessary for high energy lithium-ion batteries but difficult to achieve because of the highly deteriorated cyclability of the batteries.A novel strategy is developed to extend cyclability of a high voltage lithium-ion battery,lini_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4)/Graphite(LNMO/Graphite)cell,which emphasizes a rational design of an electrolyte additive that can effectively construct protective interphases on anode and cathode and highly eliminate the effect of hydrogen fluoride(HF).5-Trifluoromethylpyridine-trime thyl lithium borate(LTFMP-TMB),is synthesized,featuring with *** anion TFMPTMB-tends to be enriched on cathode and can be preferentially oxidized yielding TMB and radical TFMP-.Both TMB and radical TFMP can combine HF and thus eliminate the detrimental effect of HF on cathode,while the TMB dragged on cathode thus takes a preferential oxidation and constructs a protective cathode *** the other hand,LTFMP-TMB is preferentially reduced on anode and constructs a protective anode ***,a small amount of LTFMP-TMB(0.2%)in 1.0 M LiPF6in EC/DEC/EMC(3/2/5,wt%)results in a highly improved cyclability of LNMO/Graphite cell,with the capacity retention enhanced from 52%to 80%after 150 cycles at 0.5 C between 3.5 and 4.8 *** as-developed strategy provides a model of designing electrolyte additives for improving cyclability of high voltage batteries.

Path-Dependent Progressive Failure Analysis for 3D-Printed Continuous Carbon Fibre Reinforced Composites

In order to predict the damage behaviours of 3D-printed continuous carbon fibre(CCF)reinforced composites,when additional short carbon fibre(SCF)composite components are employed for continuous printing or special functionality,a novel path-dependent progressive failure(PDPF)numerical approach is ***,a progressive failure model using Hashin failure criteria with continuum damage mechanics to account for the damage initiation and evaluation of 3D-printed CCF reinforced polyamide(PA)composites is developed,based on actual fibre placement trajectories with physical measurements of 3D-printed CCF/PA ***,an elastic-plastic model is employed to predict the plastic damage behaviours of SCF/PA ***,the accuracy of the PDPF model was validated so as to study 3D-printed CCF/PA composites with either negative Poisson's ratio or high *** results demonstrate that the proposed PDPF model can achieve higher prediction accuracies in mechanical properties of these 3D-printed CCF/PA *** analyses show that the stress distribution is generally aggregated in the CCF areas along the fibre placement paths,and the shear damage and matrix tensile/compressive damage are the key damage *** study provides a new approach with valuable information for characterising complex 3D-printed continuous fibre-matrix composites with variable mechanical properties and multiple constituents.

Crosslinked solubilizer enables nitrate-enriched carbonate polymer electrolytes for stable,high-voltage lithium metal batteries

High-voltage lithium metal batteries(LMBs)have been considered promising next-generation highenergy-density ***,commercial carbonate electrolytes can scarcely be employed in LMBs owing to their poor compatibility with metallic lithium.N,N-dimethylacrylamide(DMAA)-a crosslinkable solubilizer with a high Gutmann donor number-is employed to facilitate the dissolution of insoluble lithium nitrate(linO3)in carbonate-based electrolytes and to form gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs)through in situ *** Lit solvation structure of the GPEs is regulated using linO3 and DMAA,which suppresses the decomposition of LiPFe and facilitates the formation of an inorganic-rich solid electrolyte ***,the Coulombic efficiency(CE)of the LillCu cell assembled with a GPE increases to 98.5%at room temperature,and the high-voltage LillNCM622 cell achieves a capacity retention of 80.1%with a high CE of 99.5%after 400 *** bifunctional polymer electrolytes are anticipated to pave the way for next-generation high-voltage LMBs.

Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts are the key core materials that determine the performance of fuel cells,metal-air batteries,electrolytic water decomposition,and other *** this work,a green lignin-based non-precious metal OER catalyst was prepared by a simple ***,c arboxylated lignin was used to complex Ni and Co in situ,and then they were placed with sodium hypophosphite in the same tube furnace for upstream and downstream high-temperature calcination to construct a lignin carbon-based Ni-Co bimetallic OER catalyst(NiCoP@C).The synthesized catalyst is a porous bimetallic phosphide with a three-dimensional network structure and high-density electrochemical active ***@C exhibited favorable catalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)with overpotential of 280 mV at 10 mA·cm~(-2)and a Tafel slope of 77 mV·dec~(-1).Additionally,it exhibited remarkable durability during *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that by leveraging the distinctive structure of transition metal phosphide nanoparticles incorporated into a reticulated substrate,the NiCoP@C catalyst offered an increased number of active sites for OER catalysis,significantly enhancing its stability during practical *** present study broadens the utilization pathways of biomass to"turn waste into treasure,"aligning the development concept of green sustainable development.

Alumina–spinel refractories used in slit-type purging plugs are susceptible to cross-sectional damage,resulting in a serious mismatch between their service life and that of ***–calcium hexaluminate refractories have gradually become the new trend in purging plug materials with the development of refining *** thermomechanical damage of slit-type purging plugs with alumina–calcium hexaluminate refractory was investigated by the thermo-solid coupling *** with the polynomial fitting and design of experiments methods,the influence of thermophysical parameters on temperature and thermal stress of alumina–calcium hexaluminate refractories for purging plugs was systematically *** results show that the maximum thermal stress of the purging plugs appears during the stages of steel transporting and stirring,and the vulnerable parts are located above Y=0.323 *** thermal conductivity and the coefficient of thermal expansion of the material are the most sensitive parameters to the temperature and thermal stress inside the structure,*** addition of more calcium hexaluminate can relieve the stress concentration and large deformation around the ***,when the content of calcium hexaluminate is 47 wt.%and in the form of aggregate-binder,the temperature and thermal stress distribution inside the refractory are optimal,which can effectively improve the service life of the slit-type purging plug.
