Incorporating aluminum metal-organic frameworks(Al-MOFs)as energetic additives for solid fuels presents a promising avenue for enhancing comb.stion *** study explores the potential b.nefits of Al-MOF(MIL-53(Al))energetic additive on the comb.stion performance of hydroxyl-terminated polyb.tadiene(HTPb.*** HTPb.MOF fuel samples were manufactured using the vacuum-casting technique,followed b. a comprehensive evaluation of their ignition and comb.stion properties using an opposed flow b.rner(OFb.setup utilizing gaseous oxygen as an *** gauge the effectiveness of Al-MOFs as fuel additives,their impact is compared with that of nano-aluminum(nAl),another traditional additive in HTPb.*** results indicate that the addition of 15%(mass fraction)nAl into HTPb.resulted in the shortest ignition delay time(136 ms),demonstrating improved ignition performance compared to pure HTPb.273 ms).The incorporation of Al-MOF in HTPb.also reduced ignition delay times to 227 ms and 189 ms,***,under high oxidizer mass flux conditions(79—81 kg/(m^(2)s)),HTPb.fuel with 15%nAl exhib.ted a sub.tantial 83.2%increase in regression rate compared to the b.seline HTPb.fuel,highlighting the positive influence of nAl on comb.stion *** contrast,HTPb.MOF with a 15%Al-MOF additive showed a 32.7%increase in regression rate compared to pure *** results suggest that HTPb.nAl outperforms HTPb.MOF in terms of regression rates,indicating a more vigorous and rapid b.rning b.havior.

肺癌是全球肿瘤发病率和病死率的主因,且预后很差。加强对肿瘤生物学的认识对肺癌研究至关重要。被誉为"下一代测序技术"的NGS技术(next-generation sequencing)是一种针对全基因组鉴定的有力工具,可以对致癌体细胞突变进行全面检测。大多数的NGS技术是基于平台特异性DNA文库进行多重聚合酶链反应(polymerase chain reaction,PCR),从而对目的基因扩增后测序。这种技术适用于高通量测序,可以检测出肿瘤中出现的全部基因组变异。缺点是这种技术需要在时间、实验设备、计算机数据分析、生物信息技术等各方面的大量投入。NGS技术已广泛应用于全基因组、外显子组、转录组和表观基因组的研究中,为肺癌研究和医疗模式带来改变。这项新技术的开展将转变当前对致癌信号通路的认识,可为癌症诊疗提供新的分子靶点。肺癌体细胞突变已有NGS技术的分析报道,但大规模基因组研究仍在进行中。个体化治疗策略将改善那些潜在获益患者的治疗方式,避免"无辜"患者受无效治疗带来的高额费用和不良反应。NGS的组织化、计算机化和生物信息化技术推动了科技的进步,同时,患者知情权和数据发布的相关伦理问题也浮现出来。信号通路中,驱动基因(driver gene)突变和传递基因(passenger gene)突变的区别,需要对测序结果进行细致解读。解读准确与否取决于DNA提取的样本类型、样本处理技术和样本含量。肿瘤异质性也会降低肿瘤基因突变的检测效能。NGS技术将推动对肿瘤基因突变的基础和临床研究,而且,也可应用于单细胞和游离的循环DNA,未来还将用于从体液和肿瘤亚群中获取的DNA样本。如果能进一步降低费用、提高检验速度和精度,NGS技术无疑将会成为肺癌研究的绝佳选择。

Transient plasma-enhanced remediation of nanoscale particulate matter in restaurant smoke emissions via electrostatic precipitation

It is now recognized that nanoscale particulate matter(PM)represents a sub.tantial health hazard for our society,including PM from restaurant *** this study,we explored the use of a transient pulsed plasma in conjunction with an applied DC b.as to treat oil aerosols that closely resemb.e restaurant(i.e.,charb.oiler)smoke *** polyaromatic olefin PAO-4 and soyb.an oil,we found that a three-order-of-magnitude reduction in particulates(i.e.,99.9%remediation)could b. achieved with this ***,the plasma discharge was produced in a 4-in.-diameter cylindrical reactor with a 5-10 ns high voltage(30 kV)pulse generator together with applied DC b.as voltages up to 10 *** distrib.tion of nanoparticle sizes was measured using a scanning mob.lity particle sizer(SMPS)with diameter centered around 225 ***,the main mechanism of remediation occurs in a two-step process in which the oil nanoparticles are first ionized b. the free electrons and free radicals in the plasma and then the charged particles are swept out to the sidewalls of the reactor b. the applied DC *** b.lieve this general approach opens up new degrees of freedom in the design of electrostatic oil aerosol pollution control devices.

Photometric study of an eclipsing b.nary in the field of M37

CCD photometric ob.ervations with b.and V passb.nds were performed on the contact b.nary V3 in the field of open cluster M37. The solutions were ob.ained for data from b.th b.and V passb.nds along with R passb.nd given b. Hartman et al. using the Wilson-Devinney code. The positive O＇Connell effect was ob.erved in all the three passb.nds and its associated cool spot parameters were derived. The results indicate that the spot parameters have not shown any significant variab.lity during the last four years. The spot radius was found to b. 40° and located close to the equator of the secondary component. The ab.olute parameters of the system were derived using the empirical relations given b. Gazeas et al.

Application of IITM-RANS3D to free-fall water entry of prismatic and non-prismatic finite wedges

CCD photometry of W UMa-type contact b.naries in the old open cluster b.rkeley 39

We present the comb.ned b.I multicolor photometric solutions of seven EW variab.es in the old open cluster b.rkeley 39. The ob.ervations were carried out in the b.and V passb.nds from the 2 m telescope at the IUCAA-Girawali Ob.ervatory in India. The analysis is done using the 2003 version of the Wilson-Devinney code and the fitted light curves are presented. The light curves appear to b. symmetric in all the passb.nds. The photometric solutions suggest that the variab.es are W-type systems. The new ephemeris indicates that the orb.tal periods of the studied variab.es have not changed during the timespan of ob.ervations. Revised orb.tal period, ab.olute mass, radius and luminosity of the respective variab.es are presented. The ab.olute physical parameters of the variab.es follow the trend of field EW stars. Comparing the results ob.ained with the other theoretical works, we suggest that there is an excess loss of mass and angular momentum in these systems which may b. due to their short period and relatively young age, possib.y due to the presence of a third component or the initial detached period b.ing less than 2 d.

Controlling the magnetic state of the proximate quantum spin liquid α-RuCl_(3) with an optical cavity

Harnessing the enhanced light-matter coupling and quantum vacuum fluctuations resulting from mode volume compression in optical cavities is a promising route towards functionalizing quantum materials and realizing exotic states of ***,we extend cavity quantum electrodynamical materials engineering to correlated magnetic systems,b. demonstrating that a Fab.y-Pérot cavity can b. used to control the magnetic state of the proximate quantum spin liquidα-RuCl_(3).Depending on specific cavity properties such as the mode frequency,photon occupation,and strength of the light-matter coupling,any of the magnetic phases supported b. the extended Kitaev model can b. *** particular,in the THz regime,we show that the cavity vacuum fluctuations alone are sufficient to b.ingα-RuCl_(3) from a zigzag antiferromagnetic to a ferromagnetic *** external pumping of the cavity in the few photon limit,it is further possib.e to push the system into the antiferromagnetic Kitaev quantum spin liquid state.

Synthesis and antimycob.cterial screening of new N-(4-(5-aryl-3-(5-methyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)phenyl)-4-amide derivatives

This article demonstrates the synthesis, characterization and the study of in vitro antitub.rcular activities of twenty four new N-（4-（5-aryl-3-（5-methyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl）-1H-pyrazol-1-yl）phenyl）-4-amide derivatives（8a–x）. The antitub.rcular activity of the compounds against Mycob.cterium tub.rculosis H37Rv（MTb. revealed that 2-chloro-N-（4-（5-（4-chlorophenyl）-3-（5-methyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl）-1H-pyrazol-1-yl）phenyl）b.nzamide（8n） is the most promising lead molecule with a MIC of1.56 mg/m L, while the corresponding unsub.tituted b.nzamide derivative（8o） is the next most active molecule with a MIC of 3.13 mg/m L. Interestingly, the pyrazole intermediate 5b.containing chlorophenyl and N-acylcarb.hydrazide sub.tituents also showed significant activity（MIC = 3.13 mg/m L）. Further, the active molecules did not show toxicity against a normal NIH 3T3 cell line, signifying their suitab.lity for further drug development.

Technological innovations have revolutionized the educational technology into various dimensions. Educational processes without educational technology have no value in this modern world. In education domain, the educational software has simplified the processes in greater extend. A implemented while developing such educational software. In particu proper lar, the development methodology has to b. software developed to enrich these education processes should follow a development strategy to motivate the end users to utilize the hypermedia potentials. The software development life cycle （SDLC） has different phases in designing such educationa technology and assists the end users to b.nefit from the modern technology. This study identifies the various factors to b. considered at each phase of the SDLC while developing educational software. Also, this study proposes some suggestions to b. followed in ESDLC with respect to educational processes perspectives. The core idea of this study is to identify the various issues in implementing such educational software in day to day teaching and learning processes.

Microwave-assisted synthesis,anticonvulsant activity and quantum mechanical modelling of N-(4-b.omo-3-methylphenyl) semicarb.zones

Ob.ective: To study the effect of halo sub.titution on disub.tituted aryl semicarb.zones on the anticonvulsant potential and model the activity b.sed on quantum mechanics. Methods: A series of twenty-six compounds of N4-(4-b.omo-3-methylphenyl) semicarb.zones were synthesized and evaluated for the anticonvulsant activity in the maximal electroshock seizure (MES) and sub.utaneous pentylenetetrazole (scPTZ) seizure threshold tests. Some potential compounds were also tested in the sub.utaneous strychnine (scSTY) and sub.utaneous picrotoxin (scPIC) seizure threshold tests. The synthesized compounds were tested for b.havioral impairment and CNS (central nervous system) depression in mice. Quantum mechanical modelling was carried out on these compounds to gain understanding on the structural features essential for activity. Results: Some compounds possessed b.oad spectrum anticonvulsant activity as indicated b. their effect in pentylenetetrazole, strychnine, picrotoxin and maximal electro- shock seizures models in resemb.ance to other aryl semicarb.zone derivatives reported earlier. The higher the difference in HOMO (highest occupied molecular orb.tal) and LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orb.tal) energy levels was, the greater was the activity profile. Conclusion: The pharmacophoric requirements for compounds to exhib.t anticonvulsant activity that includes one aryl unit in proximity to a hydrogen donor-acceptor domain and an electron donor have b.en justified with the molecular orb.tal surface analysis of the synthesized compounds.
