We recently experienced a case of intestinal myiasis caused by maggots of fly, Sarcophagidae. A 61-year-old Japanese man presented in August 2015 with a 2-day his-tory of diarrhea and white maggots in his stool. Two days before his presentation, he took Chinese noodles and lettuce. At his presentation, we observed a number of discharged insect bodies in his stool. The insect bodies were identified as the larvae of the 3rd instar flesh fly Sarcophagidae based on macroscopic and microscopic examinations. We finally diagnosed as intestinal myiasis due to the fact that the patient had the insect bodies mixed in his diet, lettuce. A few days after the treatment with antibiotics, his symptoms disappeared. Accurate diagnosis of intestinal myiasis in developed countries is necessary to avoid ineffective treatment.

Dodecylamine Derivative of Hydroxocobalamin Acts as a Potent Inhibitor of Cobalamin-Dependent Methionine Synthase in Mammalian Cultured COS-7 Cells

We evaluated whether the dodecylamine derivative of hydroxocobalamin acts as a potent inhibitor of cobalamin-dependent enzymes in an African green monkey kidney cell, COS-7. When the dodecylamine derivative (1.0 μmol/L) did not show any cytotoxicity in the cultured cells, the derivative could not affect methylmalonyl-CoA mutase (holo-enzyme) activity, but significantly inhibit methionine synthase (holo-enzyme) activity in the cell homogenates of COS-7 grown in 1.0 μmol/L hydroxocobalamin-supplemented medium. An immunoblot analysis indicated that the dodecylamine derivative could not decrease the protein level of methionine synthase, but significantly inhibit the enzyme activity.

Narrow-band imaging observation of colorectal lesions using NICE classification to avoid discarding significant lesions

AIM: To assess the risk of failing to detect diminutive and small colorectal cancers with the "resect and discard" ***: Patients who received colonoscopy and polypectomy were recruited in the retrospective study. Probable histology of the polyps was predicted by six colonoscopists by the use of NICE classification. The incidence of diminutive and small colorectal cancersand their endoscopic features were assessed. RESULTS: In total, we found 681 cases of diminutive(1-5 mm) lesions in 402 patients and 197 cases of small(6-9 mm) lesions in 151 patients. Based on pathology of the diminutive and small polyps, 105 and 18 were non-neoplastic polyps, 557 and 154 were low-grade adenomas, 18 and 24 were high-grade adenomas or intramucosal/submucosal(SM) scanty invasive carcinomas, 1 and 1 were SM deeply invasive carcinoma, respectively. The endoscopic features of invasive cancer were classified as NICE type 3 ***: The risk of failing to detect diminutive and small colorectal invasive cancer with the "resect and discard" strategy might be avoided through the use of narrow-band imaging observation with the NICE classification scheme and magnifying endoscopy.

目前为了减少功率失配损失,一般太阳能模组串联时都配置旁路二极管以提供一个能量散逸的途径;而在并联运行前,还将配置阻断二极管以防止功率逆向传送。本文基于上述新配置条件重点考察了随机阴影导致的光伏阵列运行失配特性,并比较了不同串并联模式下的阵列抗失配能力。研究结果表明:由于多辐射强度导致功率曲线多峰走向的趋势,常规单调MPPT算法可能因只检测到伪极大值点而失效;其次,局部辐射强度导致的"门槛效应",即局部阴影的变化并不一定对全局功率输出有影响;最后,为了相对提高输出功率,提出全阵列设计时应优先考虑并联的建议。

秩文水泥公司和石川岛—播磨重工业公司共同努力,把秩文一厂的预热器窑改造为预分解窑以达到最低水平的能耗.象秩文分解炉,压力损失低的轴流式旋风筒和半双系列预热器这些新东西都装在这台窑上.它烧重油,热耗低,日产2500吨时为722千卡/公斤熟料(30224千焦耳/公斤),其产量相当于改造前的2倍多.尽管窑上装了五级预热器系统,预热器风机的电耗仅为6.5度/吨熟料.1980年6月底,该窑由烧重油改为烧煤后,以日产2400吨,热耗745千卡/公斤熟料(3119千焦耳/公斤)的良好状态运行,同时每吨熟料生产成本降低9美元.基于上述成功的经验,Kumagaya厂800厂/D的SF窑的改造已开始,二台气流分解炉由一台秩文分解炉代替,因而形成了半双系列NSF系统.

光伏直流模块化结构能各自独立实现最大功率点跟踪(MPPT),减少由于模块之间运行失配而导致的功率损失。但级联运行的方式常由于DC变流器的变换比率限制导致并不是所有太阳能模组都能运行在最佳功率位置。考虑光伏模组最佳工作电流(MPP电流)与短路电流之间的近似比例匹配,在电流步长足够精确以及模组参数I0和Rs在线辨识或有离线策略依据的情况下,实际运行功率裕度可由工作电流与最佳MPP电流之间的功率积分计算得出。所提出的光伏实际运行裕度定量评估方法,可用以解决失配场景下的级联结构2级控制(功率控制和电压控制)运行点优化问题。重点考察了一些典型失配场景,仿真结果也证实了功率裕度评估方法及工况运行矫正的有效性。
