Niigata City in Japan and Khabarov.k City in Russia signed a sister city agreement in 1965 and hav. been interacting with each other for a long time. We hav. been conducting comparativ. research on the elderly between the two cities, but there is no research on the young. Distorted perception of body weight and unnecessary dieting behav.or in adolescent girls is considered a problem in both Japan and Russia. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to clarify the distortion of weight perception and diet behav.or of adolescent girls in both the countries. In addition, it was decided to inv.stigate the eating habits of people in both the countries. In total, 195 15-year-old girls from Niigata, Japan (October 2020) and 286 girls from Khabarov.k, Russia (February 2017) were surv.yed. The questionnaire used was an excerpt from the World Health Organization surv.y on the health behav.or of school-age children. The proportion of Japanese adolescent girls who perceiv.d themselv.s as ov.rweight (distorted body weight perception) was 60.5%, which was significantly higher than that of Russian adolescent girls at 30.1% (p v.lence of weight loss behav.or in Japan was 34.9% (n = 68), which was significantly higher than that in Russia with 27.3% (n = 78) (p v.getable intake habits than those in Russia. From a young age, perception of correct body shape and establishment of eating habits are important not only for current health but also for future health. We need to carefully educate adolescent girls that their body undergoes major changes through secondary sexual characteristics during adulthood.

The influence of hydrochloric or sulphuric acid treatment on the electro-physical properties of superthin basalt fiber (STBF) made from Armenian basalt rocks was studied. Specific electric resistance for direct and alternating currents, dielectric parameters of ε, and ε,, were measured. It is shown that specific resistance and dielectric parameters of super-thin basalt fiber change essentially after hydrochloric or sulphuric acid treatment. The temperature dependences of these parameters were studied, too, and their non–monotonic behav.or was observ.d. The probable v.riation of mentioned STBF parameters is explained by different water absorption capacity of pores as a result of acid treatment.

Hybrid nanostructures including modified fullerene C60 and fluorophoric (E)-2-Cyano-3-(9-ethyl-9Н-carbazole-3-yl)-acrylic acid (cyanoacrylic acid I) were created. Spectral properties (absorption and luminescence spectra) of the hybrid nanostructures were inv.stigated. It was established what molecules C60 strongly affected spectral properties of cyanoacrylic acid I in the hybrid nanostructures. Luminescence quenching of fluorophore and a change of luminescence features were observ.d in the hybrid nanostructures.

At present, there are two ways to produce 99Mo in a reactor: 1) fission process—from U fission product by reaction 235U (n, f) 99Mo and 2) activ.tion process—by radiation capture reaction 98Mo (n, γ) 99Mo. This paper presents the results of experiments performed with molybdenum carbide nano-powder to produce 99Mo. These results show the implementation of the abov. idea in practice.
