Proactive.Se.antic Inte.fe.e.ce.(PSI) and failure.to re.ove. from PSI (frPSI), are.nove. constructs asse.se. by the.LASSI-L. The.e.me.sure. are.se.sitive.to cognitive.change. in e.rly Mild Cognitive.Impairme.t (MCI) and pre.linical AD de.e.mine. by Aβ load using Pe.. The.goal of this study was to compare.a ne. compute.ize. ve.sion of the.LASSI-L (LASSI-Brie. Compute.ize.) to the.standard pape.-and-pe.cil ve.sion of the.te.t. In this study, we.e.amine. 110 cognitive.y unimpaire. (CU) olde. adults and 79 with amne.tic MCI (aMCI) who we.e.administe.e. the.pape.-and-pe.cil form of the.LASSI-L. The.r pe.formance.was compare. with 62 CU olde. adults and 52 aMCI participants e.amine. using the.LASSI-BC. Afte. adjustme.t for covariate. (de.re. of initial le.rning, se., e.ucation, and language.of e.aluation) both the.standard and compute.ize. ve.sions distinguishe. be.we.n aMCI and CU participants. The.pe.formance.of CU and aMCI groups using e.the. form was re.ative.y comme.surate. Importantly, an optimal combination of Cue. B2 re.all and Cue. A short-te.m laboratory incubation e.pe.ime.t was conducte. to inve.tigate.the.e.fe.ts of soil e.e.trical conductivity(e.) and moisture.conte.t on CO_2 and N_2O e.issions from sulfate.base. natural saline.soils. Thre. se.arate.100-m long transe.ts we.e.e.tablishe. along the.salinity gradie.t on a salt-affe.te. agricultural fie.d at Moore.on, North Dakota, USA. Surface.soils we.e.colle.te. from four e.ually space. sampling positions within e.ch transe.t, at the.de.ths of 0–15 and 15–30 cm. In the.laboratory, artificial soil core. we.e.forme. combining soils from both the.de.ths in e.ch transe.t, and incubate. at 60% and 90% wate.-fille. pore.space.WFPS) at 25?C. The.me.sure. de.th-we.ghte. e. of the.saturate. paste.e.tract(e._e. across the.sampling positions range. from 0.43 to 4.65 dS m^(-1). Pote.tial nitroge.(N) mine.alization rate.and CO_2 e.issions de.re.se. with incre.sing soil e._e. but the.re.ative.de.line.in soil CO_2 e.issions with incre.sing e.e.was smalle. at 60% WFPS than at 90% WFPS.
