Immediate implantation of ultrafine fiber slow-release system based on cell electrospinning to induce osteogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells

This study presents the development and evaluation of a poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrate)(P34HB)ultrafine fiber slow-release system for in vivo osteogenic induction of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(HUCMSCs).Utilizing dual-nozzle and cell electrospinning techniques,the system encapsulates L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate magnesium(AsP),βB-glycerophosphate sodium and dexamethasone(DEX)within the'fbers,ensuring sustained osteogenic *** scaffold's morphology,characterization,hydrophilicity,mechanical properties and cellular behavior were *** subcutaneous implantation in rabbits was con-ducted to observe its ectopic osteogenic induction *** fabricated P34HB ultrafine fiber slow-release *** ization *** distribution of HUCMSCs and inducing components within the scaffold,with no chemical reactions affecting the active *** vitro tests showcased a prolonged release of DEX and ASP,while biocompatibility assays highlighted the scaffold's suitability for cellular *** Red,type I collagen,and osteopontin(OPN)staining verifed the scaffold's potent osteogenic induction effect on ***,immediate implantation into New Zealand White rabbits led to significant new bone formation within 8 *** findings underscore the system's potential for immediate in vivo implantation without prior in vitro induction,marking a promising advancement in bone tissue engineering.

The OsCLV2s-OsCRN1 co-receptor regulates grain shape in rice

The highly conserved CLV–WUS negative feedback pathway plays a decisive role in regulating stem cell maintenance in shoot and floral meristems in higher plants,including Arabidopsis,rice,maize,and ***,we find significant natural variations in the OsCLV2c,OsCLV2d,and OsCRN1 loci in a genome-wide association study of grain shape in ***2a,OsCLV2c,OsCLV2d,and OsCRN1 negatively regulate grain length–width ratio and show distinctive geographical distribution,indica–japonica differentiation,and artificial selection ***,OsCLV2a and OsCRN1 interact biochemically and genetically,suggesting that the two components function in a complex to regulate grain shape of ***,the genetic contributions of the haplotypes combining OsCLV2a,OsCLV2c,and OsCRN1 are significantly higher than those of each single gene alone in controlling key yield *** findings identify two groups of receptor-like kinases that may function as distinct co-receptors to control grain size in rice,thereby revealing a previously unrecognized role of the CLV class genes in regulating seed development and proposing a framework to understand the molecular mechanisms of the CLV–WUS pathway in rice and other crops.

Experimental and numerical simulation study on the erosion behavior of the elbow of gathering pipeline in shale gas field

During the production period of shale gas, proppant particles and rock debris are produced together,which will seriously erode the elbows of gathering pipelines. In response to this problem, this paper takes the elbow of the gathering pipeline in the Changning Shale Gas Field as an example to test the erosion rate and material removal mechanism of the test piece at different angles of the elbow through experiments and compares the four erosion models with the experimental results. Through analysis, it is found that the best prediction model for quartz sand-carbon steel erosion is the Oka model. Based on the Oka model, FLUenT software was used to simulate and analyze the law of erosion of the elbow of the gas gathering pipeline under different gas flow velocities, gas gathering pressure, particle size, length of L1,and bending directions of the elbow. And a spiral pipeline structure is proposed to reduce the erosion rate of the elbow under the same working conditions. The results show that this structure can reduce erosion by 34%.

As a prevailing cathode material of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),LicoO_(2)(Lco)still encounters the tricky problems of structural collapse,whose morphological engineering and cation doping are crucial for surmounting the mechanical strains and alleviating phase degradation upon ***,we propose a strategy using a zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)as the self-sacrificing template to directionally prepare a series of LiNi_(0.1)co_(0.9)O_(2)(LNco)with tailorable electrochemical *** rational selection of sintering temperature imparts the superiority of the resultant products in lithium storage,during which the sample prepared at 700℃(LNco-700)outperforms its counterparts in cyclability(156.8 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C for 200 cycles in half cells,1 C=275 mA g^(-1))and rate capability due to the expedited ion/electron transport and the strengthen mechanical *** feasibility of proper Ni doping is also divulged by half/full cell tests and theoretical study,during which LNco-700(167 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C for 100 cycles in full cells)surpasses Lco-700 in battery performance due to the mitigated phase deterioration,stabilized layered structu re,ameliorated electro nic co nductivity,a nd exalted lithium sto rage *** work systematically unveils tailorable electrochemical behaviors of LNco to better direct their practical application.

Modification of BCC phase and the enhanced reversible hydrogen storage properties of Ti-V-Fe-Mn alloys with varied V/Fe ratios

Ti-V-based alloys are proved of huge potential in storing hydrogen,but the incomplete reversible hydrogen storage capacity caused by overstability of V hydride has limited the large-scale *** this study,Ti_(32)V_(40+x)Fe_(23-x)Mn_(5)(x=0,4,8,12,at.%)alloys were designed,and the effects of V/Fe ratio on phase constitution and hydrogen storage properties were *** main phase of the alloys is body-centered cubic(BCC)phase,and the lattice constants of the BCC phase decrease with the decrease of V/Fe ***,C14 Laves phase exists in alloys with a Fe content of 19at.%to 23at.%.For hydrogenation,the C14 Laves phase can accelerate the hydrogen absorption rate,but the hydrogen absorption capacity is *** the decrease of V/Fe ratio,the hydride gradually *** to its large lattice constant and high hydrogen absorption phase content,the Ti_(32)V_(52)Fe_(11)Mn_(5)alloy shows the most enhanced hydrogen storage properties with hydrogenation and dehydrogenation capacities of 3.588wt.%at 298 K and 1.688wt.%at 343 K,*** hydrogen absorption capacity of this alloy can be reserved to 3.574wt.%after 20 cycles of hydrogen absorption and desorption.

This study entailed an investigation of the mechanical properties,microstructural and texture orientation evolutions of Cu-Cr-co-Ti alloys prepared via twostage cryorolling and intermediate aging *** this end,X-ray diffraction and electron backscatter diffraction were *** results indicate that the two-stage cryorolling and intermediate aging treatments led to the development of profuse twin bundles and significantly enhanced the mechanical *** initial cryorolling led to coplanar slip and developed a strong Y({111})orientation,accelerating the formation of Goss({011})orientation and a Brass-type *** intermediate aging treatment relieved the restriction on dislocation slip and reoriented the grains toward the copper({112})and Z({111})*** Z orientation,with a relatively high volume fraction,dominated the *** cryorolling intensified twinning and shear banding,transforming the copper-type shear bands into Brass-type shear bands with rhomboidal prism *** areas inside the Brasstype shear bands exhibited a Y orientation,and the areas outside the shear bands exhibited a stable Brass-type *** evident decrease in the weighted Schmid factors demonstrated that the two-stage cryorolling and intermediate aging treatment can modify the texture evolution and aid the design of high-performance Cu alloys.

Boost VS_(2) electrochemical reactive kinetics by regulating crystallographic planes and coupling carbon matrix for high performance sodium-ion storage

Vanadium disulfide(VS_(2)) as a typical two-dimensional transition metal chalcogenide has excellent competitiveness for sodium-ion storage due to its wide layer spacing(0.575 nm),high theoretical capacity of 932mAh·g^(-1) originating from multi-electron electrochemical ***,continuous sodiation process accompanied by crystal structural evolution and collapse cause rapid capacity ***,novel few-layer VS_(2)nanosheets with open(001) crystal planes are in-situ constructed on reduced graphene oxide to solve these issues mentioned *** indicates that few-layer VS_(2)provides more Na^(+) storage activity due to the low Na^(+)surface migration energy barrier on exposed crystal(001)*** flexible and high electronic conductivity of carbon matrix also effectively builds multi-level buffer structure and electron transport kinetics to boost the Na^(+)insertion/conversion reactive activity on VS_(2) as well as Na^(+) pseudocapacitance storage kinetics on edges and defects of nano *** coupling effects result in high rate capability and long cycling stability as a battery/capacitor *** delivers conspicuous high energy density of 81 and 40 Wh·kg^(-1) at power density of 118 and 10,286W·kg^(-1),as well as 80% energy retention rate after 5000cycles,confirming its great application potential in sodiumbased storage devices.

The energy Sources and the Explosion Mechanism of Ca-rich Supernova PTF 10iuv

In this paper,we perform the detailed modeling for the light curves(LCs)of PTF 10iuv which is a calcium-rich(Ca-rich)supernova(SN)to constrain the physical properties of its ejecta and the energy sources,as well as the explosion *** find that the^(56)Ni model and the56Ni plus circumstellar interaction model fail to explain the LCs,while the four-element(^(56)Ni,^(48)Cr,^(52)Fe,and^(44)Ti)model can account for the *** ejecta mass of PTF10iuv derived by the model(1.52_(-0.25)^(+0.34)M_(⊙))is consistent with that of the merger of a sub-Chandrasekhar mass white *** early-time LCs were mainly powered by^(56)Ni whose mass is~0.03 M_(⊙),while the contributions of^(48)Cr and^(52)Fe can be *** derived^(44)Ti mass(~0.25 M_(⊙))is~1.8 times the upper limit of the derived^(44)Ti mass of Ca-rich SN *** suggest that subtracting the contributions of the host-galaxy,which are unknown,and including the flux from other long-lived elements(e.g.,^(57)co,^(55)Fe,^(60)co)can reduce the amount of^(44)Ti,and that this value can be regarded as an upper limit.
