Two new types of signaling compounds have been discovered in wildfire smoke due to their ability to stimulate seed germination. The first discovered were karrikins, which share some structural similarity with the strigol- actone class of plant hormones, and both signal through a common F-box protein. However, karrikins and strigolactones operate through otherwise distinct signaling pathways, each distinguished by a specific a/13 hydrolase protein. Genetic analysis suggests that plants contain endogenous compounds that signal specifically through the karrikin pathway. The other active compounds discovered in smoke are cyanohydrins that release germination-stimulating cyanide upon hydrolysis. Cyanohydrins occur widely in plants and have a role in defense against other organisms, but an additional role in endogenous cyanide signaling should also now be considered.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Atalantia monophylla(***)leaf in different solvent crude extracts and fractions against eggs of Spodoptera litura(***).Methods:Hexane,ethyl acetate and chloroform solvent extracts of *** leaf and 12 fractions from hexane extract were screened at 5.0%t,2.5%,1.0%and 0.5%for crude extracts and 1000,500,250 and 125 mg/kg for fractions against the eggs of *** for the ovicidal ***_(50)and lC_(90)were calculated using probit ***:Hexane crude extract showed maximum ovicidal activity of 61.94%at 5.0%concentration with a correlation value of r^2=0.81,and least lC_(50)value of3.06%.Hexane extract was fractionated using silica gel column chromatography and 12 fractions were *** 9 was active which showed maximum ovicidal activity of 75.61%at 1000mg/kg with the lC_(50)value of 318.65 mg/kg and lC_(90)value of 1473.31 mg/*** linear regression analysis,significant and high correlation(r^2=0.81%)was seen between concentration and ovicidal activity of hexane crude extracts and its active ***:As per our knowledge,this is the first report for ovicidal activity of *** against ***,*** could be used for the management of *** and other insect pests.

聚羟基链烷酸酯(PHA)具有广泛的物理性能,可替代多种化学原料,因此在多个领域中已得到应用。然而,PHA的生产成本较高,是石油基塑料的4-5倍,严重影响了 PHA的广泛应用。因此,需要一种低成本并提高PHA产量的装置。根据嗜盐菌的特点,可以开发出非灭菌连续发酵装置,该装置对于降低PHA的生产成本,促进PHA产业的可持续发展具有重要意义。从黑龙江省大庆地区盐碱土中筛选出高产PHA的嗜盐菌菌株,通过苏丹黑和异染颗粒染色法确定PHA的积累,通过形态观察和分子生物学技术将该菌株鉴定为Halomonassp.并命名为 ZY-1。初步研究了营养培养和发酵条件对菌株ZY-1合成PHA的影响以及生长规律。结果表明,最好的碳源是葡萄糖;NH4Cl的最佳浓度为1 g/l;KH2PO4的最佳浓度为1.5 g/l;菌株ZY-1在pH=9时合成PHA的能力最强,为2.8g/l。在此条件下,采用两种分批补料的方法来提高PHA的产量,第一种是将葡萄糖浓度控制在20-50 g/l,PHA最高产量为5.76 g/l,占细胞干重的48%,是摇瓶发酵产PHA的2.05倍。第二种策略是通过单个脉冲将葡萄糖浓度增加到100g/l的高浓度,PHA的最终产量为4.9g/l,占细胞干重的42%,是摇瓶发酵PHA产量的1.75倍。使用红外光谱(FTIR)对由乙酸钠(2C),葡萄糖(6C)和油酸(18C)制成的三种不同材料与PHB标准样品进行分析比较。结果表明,三种材料的特征吸收峰与PHB标准样品的特征吸收峰相同,表明菌株ZY-1使用不同碳源为材料合成的产物PHA。通过X射线衍射(XRD),扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和差示扫描量热法(DSC)分析了三种PHA材料的物理性能。结果表明,碳源的碳链越长,合成的PHA的韧性,透明度和成膜性越好,且结晶度越低。三种PHA的熔融温度相似,在160至170℃之间,具有出色的热稳定性。为了探索PHA的降解,本实验分析了 PHA在不同环境中的降解。结果表明,土壤中PHA的失重率大于PBS缓冲液。在不同的pH溶液中,PHA的失重率为:pH 12.0>pH 9.0>pH 3.0>pH 7.0。总言之,PHA材料具有良好的生物降解性。为了开发用于PHA合成的低成本碳源,文章研究了稻草和油酸中PHA的积累。结果表明,在秸秆培养基中发酵84小时,PHA的最高产量为0.0805 g/l,合成的PHA为棕色粉末。在秸秆油酸介质中,当秸秆上清液与油酸的体积比为45:1时,PHA的产量达到1.57 g/l。PHA相对透明且坚韧,可合成更好的生物膜。
