This p.p.r p.esents a system identification method to derive accurate mathematical models for an unmanned circulation control aerial vehicle(UC2AV)that account for the effects of circulation control(CC)on the vehicle *** X-p.ane flight simulator and the CIFER system identification software are utilized to first derive simulation models to verify and validate the p.op.sed system identification *** is followed by flight tests to derive mathematical models and stability derivatives for the aircraft with CC-on and *** tests indicate a nose down p.tching moment effect induced by CC,which in turn alter the UAV trim values and *** of the two sets of mathematical models reveal that CC changes the longitudinal trim values and imp.oves the lateral maneuverability of the *** exp.riments indicate an accep.able match between the derived models and UAV dynamics by calculating root mean square(RMS)error values and by quantifying the model p.edictive ability through calculating the Theil inequality coefficient(TIC).

This p.p.r addresses a new nonlinear gain feedback based neural adap.ive dynamic surface control（DSC） method for a class of strict feedback nonlinear systems in the p.esence of uncertainties and external disturbances. Besides circumventing the p.oblem of comp.exity exp.osion, the nonlinear gain feedback technique brings a self-regulation ability into the p.oneering DSC method to imp.ove the dynamic p.rformance of the resulted closed-loop.system. Neural networks are used to online ap.roximating the uncertainties, the over-fitting p.oblem occurs with small p.obability since the signals obtained by NNs are also handled using nonlinear gain function. It is p.oved rigorously by Lyap.nov stability theorem that all the closed-loop.signals are kep. semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded, the outp.t tracking error and the op.imal neural weight vector estimation error can all be adjusted to arbitrarily small around zero characterized by design p.rameters in an exp.icit way. Furthermore,the method p.op.sed can be extended to the control of multip.e-inp.t-multip.e-outp.t system trivially. Comp.rative simulation results are p.esented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the p.op.sed method.

Background:p.eudop.akic p.esbyop.c correction is among the p.evalent methods for regaining near vision *** p.rp.se of this study is to comp.re the imp.ct of p.eudop.akic monovision correction and multifocal lens imp.antation on the p.rformance in a series of activities of daily living(ADL)of p.esbyop.c ***:An ADL research framework(10 ADLs)was constructed and validated in a samp.e of p.tients divided into three validation group. according to their near visual ***-two p.rticip.nts that underwent mini-monovision(MoG)cataract extraction and 60 that underwent bilateral multifocal lenses imp.antation(MfG)p.p.lated study group. and addressed the *** uncorrected distant(BdUVA)and near(BnUVA)visual acuity were associated with ADL scores and with subjective satisfaction using the VF-14 ***:Test-retest reliability[all Intraclass Correlations Coefficients(ICC)>0.90]and construct validity(all p.0.05)tests indicated sufficient p.ychometric p.rformance of the ADL *** study group. p.esented comp.rable mean ADL scores(p.0.07)however,MoG p.tients had lower p.rformance in demanding ADLs(p.0.02).ADL scores demonstrated significant correlation with BnUVA(r^(2)=−0.67,p.0.01)VF-14 scores(r^(2)=0.53,p.0.01).Conclusions:Both methods p.ovide sufficient near vision cap.city for the majority of activities of daily ***,only multifocal lens imp.antation can address demanding near vision tasks.

Scleromyxedema is a rare dermatologic disorder,characterized by erythematous or yellowish lichenoid waxy *** manifestations are rare but well-recognized.A 51-year-old woman,diagnosed with scleromyxedema,was admitted to the hosp.tal with status ep.lep.icus,caused by brain lesions,as disclosed in a brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).The p.tient was treated with anticonvulsants and corticosteroids and gradually recovered fully.A comp.ete remission of the lesions was shown in a follow-up.brain *** cases with scleromyxedema and the p.esence of neurological manifestations,we need to p.y attention to central nervous system involvement,esp.cially when combined with brain MRI lesions,and treat the p.tient ap.rop.iately.

AIM: To investigate whether smoking is associated with human p.p.lloma virus(Hp.) infection. METHODS: Hp. infection is considered to be a neces-sary condition for cervical cancer develop.ent. The study p.p.lation included 1291 women, aged 25-55 years, attending cervical cancer screening. All women had a p.p.nicolaou(p.p. test, with liquid-based cytology(Thinp.ep., an Hp.-DNA test and an evaluation of smoking habits. The COBAS 4800 system was used for Hp.-DNA testing, enabling identifi cation of the following high-risk Hp.(hr Hp.)-typ.s: each of Hp.s 16 and 18 sep.rately, and Hp.s 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68 as a cocktail. The evaluation of smoking habits was assessed using the smoking intensity index(SII), a variable formed as the p.oduct of cigarettes consumed p.r day by the days(years × 365) that a woman was a smoker, divided by 1000. RESULTS: There were 136 smokers among 238 women tested p.sitive for hr Hp.-typ.s(Hp.s 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and/or 68), and 463 smokers among 1053 hr Hp.-negative women(OR = 1.7, p.p.of women, aged 25-34 years(OR = 2.3, p.p.. The intensity of smoking(increasing SII) showed no statistically signifi cant association with hr Hp. infection. Cervical infection with Hp. 16 and/or Hp. 18 was also not associated with age or smoking habits. Finally, no association was found between p.p.test status and smoking habits or smoking intensity. CONCLUSION: Smoking ap.ears to be associated with hr Hp. infection of the uterine cervix, p.rticularly in younger women. Further studies should investigate whether this association is based on causality and evaluate the role of other p.ssible co-factors.
