Gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and have gained considerable research and treatment interest,especially in the last two decades. GISTs are driven by mutations commonly found in the KIT gene and less commonly in the platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha gene,BRAF gene and succinate dehydrogenase gene. GISTs behave in a spectrum of malignant potential,and both the tumor size and mitotic index are the most commonly used prognostic criteria. Whilst surgical resection can offer the best cure,targeted therapy in the form of tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) has revolutionized the management options. As the first-line TKI,imatinib offers treatment for advanced and metastatic GISTs,adjuvant therapy in high-risk GISTs and as a neoadjuvant agent to downsize large tumors prior to resection. The emergence of drug resistance has altered some treatment options,including prolonging the first-line TKI from 1 to 3 years,increasing the dose of TKI or switching to second-line TKI. Other newer TKIs,such as sunitinib and regorafenib,may offer some treatment options for imatinib-resistant GISTs. New molecular targeted therapies are being evaluated,such as inhibitors of BRAF,heat shock protein 90,glutamine and mitogenactivated protein kinase signaling,as well as inhibitors of apoptosis proteins antagonist and even immunotherapy. This editorial review summarizes the recent research trials and potential treatment targets that may influence our future patient-specific management of GISTs. The current guidelines in GIST management from Europe,North America and Asia are highlighted.

Tropical cyclones(TCs)are one of the most serious types of natural disasters,and accurate TC activity predictions are key to disaster prevention and ***,TC track predictions have made significant progress,but the ability to predict their intensity is obviously lagging *** present,research on TC intensity prediction takes atmospheric reanalysis data as the research object and mines the relationship between TC-related environmental factors and intensity through deep ***,reanalysis data are non-real-time in nature,which does not meet the requirements for operational forecasting ***,a TC intensity prediction model named TC-Rolling is proposed,which can simultaneously extract the degree of symmetry for strong TC convective cloud and convection intensity,and fuse the deviation-angle variance with satellite images to construct the correlation between TC convection structure and *** TCs'complex dynamic processes,a convolutional neural network(CNN)is used to learn their temporal and spatial *** real-time intensity estimation,multi-task learning acts as an implicit time-series *** model is designed with a rolling strategy that aims to moderate the long-term dependent decay problem and improve accuracy for short-term intensity *** multiple tasks are correlated,the loss function of 12 h and 24 h are *** testing on a sample of TCs in the Northwest Pacific,with a 4.48 kt root-mean-square error(RMSE)of 6 h intensity prediction,5.78 kt for 12 h,and 13.94 kt for 24 h,TC records from official agencies are used to assess the validity of TC-Rolling.

This review compares the different types of membrane processes for air *** main categories of membrane-based dehumidification are identified–membrane contactors using porous membranes with concentrated liquid desiccants,separative membranes using dense membrane morphology with a pressure gradient to drive the separation of moisture from air,and adsorptive membranes using nanofibrous membranes which adsorb and capture moisture to realise *** upon the importance of dehumidification and humidity control for urban sustainability and energy efficacy,this review critically analyses and recognizes the three unique categories of membrane-based air dehumidification ***,the discussion is broken into three sections-one for each category-discriminating in terms of the driving force,membrane structure and properties,and its performance *** will notice that despite having the same objective to dehumidify air,the polymers used amongst each category differs to suit the operating requirements and optimize dehumidification *** the end of each section,a performance table or summary of dehumidifying membranes in its class is *** final section concludes with a comparative review of the three categories on membrane-based air dehumidification technologies and draw inspiration from parallel research to rationalise the potential and innovative use of promising materials in membrane fabrication for air dehumidification.

A general solution of sun tracking for an arbitrarily oriented heliostat towards an arbitrarily located target on the earth is published. With the most general form of solar tracking formulae, it is seen that the used azimuthelevation, spinning-elevation tracking formulae etc. are the special cases of it. The possibilities of utilizing the general solution and its significance in solar energy engineering are discussed.

In this article, we report the principle and conceptual design of a fundamentally different technology in fabricating high precision aberration free optical devices. The tip-tilt of facet in a mirror array is produced by digitally controlled line-tilts of rows and columns. It has not only provided a cost-effective designing methodology in optical physics but also led to a much finer precision of 1 mili arc sec or less. As examples of the application of the proposed digitalised optics, two case studies have been given： a 10 m Schmidt telescope （off-axis） and an 8 m Cassegrain telescope （on-axis）.

Assessing the Applicability of Multi-Source Precipitation Products over the Chinese Mainland and Its Seven Regions

Satellite-based and reanalysis precipitation products provide valuable information for various ***,their performance varies widely across regions due to different data sources and production *** paper evaluated the daily performance of four precipitation products(MSWEP,ERA5,PERSIANN,and TRMM)for seven regions of the Chinese mainland,using observations from 2462 ground stations across the country as a *** used four statistical and four classification indicators to describe their spatial and temporal accuracy,and capability to detect precipitation events while analyzing their *** results show that according to the precipitation char-acteristics and accuracy of different types of precipitation products over the Chinese mainland,MSWEP was the most suitable product over the Chinese mainland,having the lowest root mean square error and mean absolute error,along with the highest coefficient of *** was followed by TRMM and ERA5,whereas PERSIANN lagged behind in terms of *** terms of different regions,MSWEP still performed well,especially in North China and East *** accuracy of the four precipitation products was relatively low in the summer months,and they all overestimated in the northwest *** other months,MSWEP and TRMM were better than PERSIANN and *** four precipitation products had good detection performance over the Chinese mainland,with probability of detection above ***,with the increase of precipitation threshold,the detection capability of the four products decreased,and MSWEP and ERA5 had good detection capability for moderate ***’s detection capability for heavy rain and rainstorms was better than that of the other three products,and PERSIANN’s detection capability for moderate rain,heavy rain and rainstorms was relatively poor,with a large deviation.

Li metal anode holds great promise to realize high-energy battery ***,the safety issue and limited lifetime caused by the uncontrollable growth of Li dendrites hinder its commercial ***,an interlayer-bridged 3D lithiophilic rGO-Ag-S-CNT composite is proposed to guide uniform and stable Li plating/*** 3D lithiophilic rGO-Ag-S-CNT host is fabricated by incorporating Ag-modified reduced graphene oxide(rGO)with S-doped carbon nanotube(CNT),where the rGO and CNT are closely connected via robust Ag-S covalent *** strong Ag-S bond could enhance the structural stability and electrical connection between rGO and CNT,significantly improving the electrochemical kinetics and uniformity of current ***,density functional theory calculation indicates that the introduction of Ag-S bond could further boost the binding energy between Ag and Li,which promotes homogeneous Li nucleation and ***,the rGO-Ag-S-CNT-based anode achieves a lower overpotential(7.3 mV at 0.5 mA cm^(−2)),higher Coulombic efficiency(98.1%at 0.5 mA cm^(−2)),and superior long cycling performance(over 500 cycles at 2 mA cm−2)as compared with the rGO-Ag-CNT-and rGO-CNT-based *** work provides a universal avenue and guidance to build a robust Li metal host via constructing a strong covalent bond,effectively suppressing the Li dendrites growth to prompt the development of Li metal battery.

Objective:To evaluate the quality of Arnebiae Radix(AR)and Dictamni Cortex(DC)and study the efficacy of herbal extracts of these two herbs on the treatment of allergic contact dermatitis(ACD).Methods:Qualitative and quantitative analysis of effective components was performed using High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography(HPTLC),High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC),and HPLC-Quadrupole Time of Flight-Mass Spectrometry(HPLC-QTOF-MS).In vitro allergic ACD 3D model was established by incubating 3D reconstructed human epidermis(RHE)with skin sensitizer,potassium dichromate.A total of 65 gene expression that were associated with ACD,which included 24 antioxidant responsive element(ARE)and 41 SENS-IS genes were quantified by q *** than or equal to 10 ARE genes and 18 SENN-IS genes were induced by 1.3-fold,demonstrating the successful establishment of in vitro ACD *** extracts of AR and DC were applied on the in vitro ACD model to study the ***:Batch 3 of AR and batch 2 of DC showed presence of all active ingredients with the highest *** ingredients of the herbs were extracted using a special oil and formulated into herbal oil *** herbal oil extracts were able to down regulate the induced genes in the in-vitro ACD skin model,bringing the tissue back to homeostatic ***:The oil extracts showed the potent efficacy of using AR and DC in ACD *** combination study will be done to optimize the formulation ratio which will be developed into a topical cream.
