Laser plasma accelerators(LPAs)enable the generation of.intense and short proton bunches on a micrometre scale,thus of.ering new experimental capabilities to research f.elds such as ultra-high dose rate radiobiology or material *** spectrally broadband,laser-accelerated proton bunches allow f.r tailored volumetric dose deposition in a sample via single bunches to excite or probe specif.c sample *** rising number of.such experiments indicates a need f.r diagnostics providing spatially resolved characterization of.dose distributions with volumes of.approximately 1 cm^(3) f.r single proton bunches to allow f.r f.st online *** we present the scintillator-based miniSCIDOm detector f.r online single-bunch tomographic reconstruction of.dose distributions in volumes of.up to approximately 1 cm^(3).The detector achieves a spatial resolution below 500μm and a sensitivity of.100 *** detector perf.rmance is tested at a proton therapy cyclotron and an LPA proton *** experiments’primary f.cus is the characterization of.the scintillator’s ionization quenching behaviour.

Knowledge regarding the inf.uence of.individual traits on interaction patterns in nature can help understand the topological role of.individuals within a network of.intrapopulation *** tested hypotheses on the relationships between individuals'positions within networks(specialization and centrality)of.4 populations of.the mouse opossum Gracilinanus agilis and their traits(i.e.,body length,body condition,tail length relative to body length,sex,reproductive condition,and botf.y parasitism)and also seasonal ef.ects in the Brazilian *** with lower body length,better body condition,and relatively shorter tail were more specialized(i.e.,less connected within the network).Individuals were also more specialized and less connected during the warm-wet *** relationship between individuals'position in the network and body traits,however,was independent of.*** propose that specialization may arise not only as a result of.pref.rred f.ed-ing strategies by more capable individuals(i.e.,those with better body condition and potentially prone to def.nd and access high-quality f.od resources)but alsobecause of.morphological ***/younger individuals(consequently with less experience in f.raging)and short-tailed individuals(less skilled to explore the vertical strata of.the vegetation)would f.ed only on a subset of.the available f.od resources and consequently become more ***,individuals are more specialized during the warm-wet season because of.high competition(population-dense period)and higher ecological opportunities(resource-rich period).Theref.re,our study reveals the relevance of.individual traits inshaping interactionpatternsandspecialization inpopulations.

The optimum levels of.Lysine and Glutamine needed f.r growth perf.rmance and maintenance of.the chicken broilers were evaluated in a randomized 3 × 4 f.ctorial arrangement of.dietary treatments. The battery cages measured 99 × 66 × 25 cm that can be suf.icient f.r 5 birds. Day old Chicken broilers totaling 180 were assigned to dietary treatments comprising of.3 concentrations of.Lysine (0.85, 1.14, and 1.42) each in combination with 4 concentrations of.Glutamine (0, 1, 2, and 3). Each dietary treatment was replicated 3 times and each replication had 5 birds. The birds were given f.ed and water ad libitum with a 23-hour light regimen f.r a period of.4 weeks. Then, the experimental birds were evaluated f.r body weight gain, f.ed consumption, and f.ed conversion in order to determine their optimum requirement f.r dietary Lysine and Glutamine. Based on the f.ndings of.this study, the highest perf.rmance was observed in birds f.d the diet supplemented with 1.42 lysine and 1% glutamine, but the highest improvement in f.ed conversion was observed in diet contain 1.14 and 1.42 with 1% and 3% glutamine, respectively. Birds f.d 1.42 lysine and 1% glutamine had the highest total body weight gain and f.ed consumption. The lysine requirements in the diet f.r Chicken are between 1.14 and 1.42 with glutamine level of.1%.

Converting TREx-RGB green-channel data to 557.7 nm auroral intensity:methodology and initial results

The recently deployed Transition Region Explorer(TREx)-RGB(red-green-blue)all-sky imager(ASI)is designed to capture“true color”images of.the aurora and *** the 557.7 nm green line is usually the brightest emission line in visible auroras,the green channel of.a TREx-RGB camera is usually dominated by the 557.7 nm *** this rationale,the TREx mission does not include a specif.c 557.7 nm imager and is designed to use the RGB green-channel data as a proxy f.r the 557.7 nm *** this study,we present an initial ef.ort to establish the conversion ratio or f.rmula linking the RGB green-channel data to the absolute intensity of.557.7 nm auroras,which is crucial f.r quantitative uses of.the RGB *** illustrate two approaches:(1)through a comparison with the collocated measurement of.green-line auroras f.om the TREx spectrograph,and(2)through a comparison with the modeled green-line intensity according to realistic electron precipitation f.ux measurements f.om low-Earth-orbit satellites,with the aid of.an auroral transport *** demonstrate the procedures and provide initial results f.r the TREx-RGB ASIs at the Rabbit Lake and Lucky Lake *** RGB response is f.und to be *** conversion ratios or f.rmulas between RGB green-channel data and the green-line auroral intensity are given and can be applied immediately by TREx-RGB data *** methodology established in this study will also be applicable to the upcoming SmILE ASI mission,which will adopt a similar RGB camera system in its deployment.

In most f.rming systems newly introduced commercial f.rtilizers to be accepted, adopted and used by f.rmers, their ef.ectiveness and appropriate application rates must be exhibited. This study was conducted to validate the ef.ect and rates of.a bio-f.rtilizer (super agric) on oil palm seedling growth. The trial was laid out in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three application rates of.0, 4 and 8 ml/L of.water (treatments) replicated thrice. f.llowing the application of.super agric to oil palm seedlings f.r a period of.six months, observations drawn f.om the analysis of.growth data were as f.llows: Three months af.er treatment, super agric signif.cantly (P f.oil palm seedling compared to those which were not applied with super agric. The results also showed that when super agric was applied at a rate of.4 ml/L, the leaf.length and breadth were higher compared to the control were super agric was not used. f.rthermore, applications of.super agric improved oil palm seedling nitrogen uptake by 31% in treatment groups as compared to the control which explained the height and breadth increase in the oil palm seedlings that were applied with super agric. On the other hand, the ef.ect of.super agric application on phosphorus uptake by seedlings was not signif.cant. Although the height, breadth, leaf.width and length were all signif.cantly af.ected by super agric application, the number of.oil palm leaves and spears were not af.ected f.r the period the experiment was conducted. Six months af.er application of.super agric the growth of.oil palm seedlings was f.vorably impacted, hence we recommend super agric to be promoted among oil palm seedling growers.

The healthcare sector holds valuable and sensitive *** amount of.this data and the need to handle,exchange,and protect it,has been increasing at a f.st *** to their nature,sof.ware-def.ned networks(SDNs)are widely used in healthcare systems,as they ensure ef.ective resource utilization,saf.ty,great network management,and *** this sector,due to the value of.thedata,SDNs f.ceamajor challengeposed byawide range of.attacks,such as distributed denial of.service(DDoS)and probe *** attacks reduce network perf.rmance,causing the degradation of.dif.erent key perf.rmance indicators(KPIs)or,in the worst cases,a network f.ilure which can threaten human *** can be signif.cant,especially with the current expansion of.portable healthcare that supports mobile and wireless devices f.r what is called mobile health,or *** this study,we examine the ef.ectiveness of.using SDNs f.r def.nse against DDoS,as well as their ef.ects on dif.erent network KPIs under various *** propose a threshold-based DDoS classif.er(TBDC)technique to classif. DDoS attacks in healthcare SDNs,aiming to block traf.ic considered a hazard in the f.rm of.a DDoS *** then evaluate the accuracy and perf.rmance of.the proposed TBDC *** technique shows outstanding perf.rmance,increasing the mean throughput by 190.3%,reducing the mean delay by 95%,and reducing packet loss by 99.7%relative to normal,with DDoS attack traf.ic.

HACEK organisms represent a rare but important group of.causative pathogens in endocarditis. These bacteria have historically been associated with culture-negative endocarditis;however, modern laboratory techniques have made this less common. In this case, we present a 74-year-old man who presented with acute onset altered mentation, f.ver, and sepsis. He was ultimately f.und to have Haemophilus inf.uenzae meningitis, cerebral empyema, aortic valve endocarditis, psoas myositis, and L2 - L3 diskitis with osteomyelitis. Although HACEK organisms are commonly f.und in the oropharynx and upper respiratory tract in humans, our patient did not report recent preceding dental or ENT procedures. H. inf.uenzae is responsible f.r approximately 0.16% of.all cases of.bacterial endocarditis, representing a very limited subset. Although generally considered low virulent pathogens, this case demonstrates the unusual extent of.inf.ction f.om a HACEK organism, H. inf.uenzae, causing aortic valve endocarditis as well as atypical non-cardiac sequelae, including acute meningitis.

Egyptian species of.the leaf.opper genus Exitianus Ball,1929,***(St?l,1855),***(Distant,1908),and *** Ross,1968 are ***,morphological descriptions,and a key f.r their identif.cation are *** this study,we used molecular techniques to conf.rm morphological identif.cation and detect phylogeny among the three Exitianus *** partial nucleotide sequences of.the amplif.ed products obtained were determined by macrogen *** nucleotide sequences of.28S rDNA and COX genes of.the EGY-ARC-9,EGY-ARC-4,and EGY-ARC-5 were determined by macrogen Korea,blasted into BLAST at the National Center f.r Biotechnology Inf.rmation website(NCBI)and compared with those deposited in the GenBank DNA *** results represented the homology percentage between the partial sequences of.the 28S rRNA and COX genes f.om each species and related species obtained f.om GenBank DNA *** morphological identif.cations of.the three Exitianus species were conf.rmed by molecular characterization and sequencing of.28S rDNA and COX genes and identif.ed as ***,***,and ***,their sequences of.28srDNA and COX genes were deposited in GenBank with an accession number(LC670610,LC670607,and OQ196105)f.r 28srDNA gene and(LC775357,LC775358,and LC775359)f.r the COX gene.
