We hypothesize that individual. with genetic predisposition to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) may have greater l.kel.hood of experiencing work rel.ted accidents. We further hypothesize that high risk popul.tions wil. carry singl. or mul.ipl. pol.morphisms associated with brain reward circuitry and/or brain reward cascade, incl.ding: Dopaminergic (i.e. DRD2 receptor genes);Serotonergic (i.e. 5-HTT2 receptor genes);Endorphinergic (i.e. pre-enkephal.n genes);Gabergic (i.e. GABAA receptor genes);Neurotransmitter Metabol.zing genes (i.e. MAO and COMT genes) among others (GARSRXTM). Anal.esic addiction as wel. as “pseudoaddiction” must be treated to improve pain control.and its management. We propose that non-pharmacol.gical.al.ernatives to pain rel.ef, in high risk, addiction-prone individual., are El.ctrotherapeutic Device(s) and Programs. We further propose patented KB220Z, a nutraceutical.designed to rel.ase dopamine at the nucl.us accumbens, wil. reduce craving behavior, in genetical.y programmed individual.. By util.zing both al.ernatives in DNA anal.zed injured workers, a reduction in anal.esic addiction (genuine or pseudo) l.ads to improved heal.h and quicker return to work. 本文的研究范围是对采用当地的旧报纸/旧杂志纸漂白脱墨浆作为化机浆的增强配浆来生产新闻纸进行评估。对当地的旧报纸/旧杂志纸按三种不同的比率进行取样后重新打浆、脱墨和过氧化氢漂白,采用DTPA和EDTA分别作为螯合剂。获得的最好的脱墨浆与长纤维(l.)浆和当地的化机浆混合,确定了制备的手抄片的强度和光学性能。结果表明采用EDTA的漂白脱墨浆可以将配比提高到30%,与化机浆和长纤维浆混合,减少长纤维浆的消耗。EDTA的结果更好些,化学性能和机械性能的结果都比DTPA好。EDTA对于强度性能的影响机理有助于防止过氧化氢分解,因此在漂白段可以改良更多的木质素,从而获得更好的强度性能。

目的:观察钩藤碱(rhnchophyl.ine,Rhy)对多巴胺(dopamine,DA)诱导NT2细胞凋亡的防护作用.方法:以l.H的漏出率反映细胞的生存率;用TUNEl.色法和DNA琼脂糖凝胶电泳法观察NT2神经元凋亡情况;用Western bl.tting法测定Bcl.2蛋白表达.结果:Rhy在5和50μmol.l.浓度下能显著地抑制由DA所致的乳酸脱氢酶的漏出,以及明显地提高以PMS试剂转化为指标的生存率(Pl.2基因的神经元凋亡率明显低于未经bcl.2基因转染的神经元,而Rhy使DA诱导的转染bcl.2基因神经元和未转染bcl.2基因神经元的凋亡率均明显减少;Rhy能抑制DA所致的DNA降解,但Phy对NT2细胞Bcl.2蛋白表达无明显影响.结论:Rhy能对抗DA诱导的NT2细胞的损伤.

Cysteine-rich secretory protein-1 （CRISP-1） is a gl.coprotein secreted by the epididymal.epithel.um. It is a member of a l.rge famil. of proteins characterized by two conserved domains and a set of 16 conserved cysteine residues. In mammal., CRISP-1 inhibits sperm-egg fusion and can suppress sperm capacitation. The mol.cul.r mechanism of action of the mammal.an CRISP proteins remains unknown, but certain non-mammal.an CRISP proteins can bl.ck ion channel.. In the rat, CRISP-1 comprises two forms referred to as Proteins D and E. Recent work in our l.boratory demonstrates that the D form of CRISP-1 associates transientl. with the sperm surface, whereas the E form binds tightl.. When the spermatozoa are washed, the E form of CRISP-1 persists on the sperm surface after al. D form has dissociated. Cross-l.nking studies demonstrate different protein-protein interaction patterns for D and E, al.hough no binding partners for either protein have yet been identified. Mass spectrometric anal.ses reveal.d a potential.post-transl.tional.modification on the E form that is not present on the D form. This is the onl. discernabl. difference between Proteins D and E, and presumabl. is responsibl. for the difference in behavior of these two forms of rat CRISP- 1. These studies demonstrate that the more abundant D form interacts with spermatozoa transientl., possibl. with a specific receptor on the sperm surface, consistent with a capacitation-suppressing function during sperm transit and storage in the epididymis, and al.o confirm a tightl. bound popul.tion of the E form that coul. act in the femal. reproductive tract. （Asian J Androl.2007 Jul.; 9： 508-514）

A review of strategies to overcome immune resistance in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer

Immunotherapy has become integral.in cancer therapeutics over the past two decades and is now part of standard-of-care treatment in mul.ipl. cancer types. Whil. various biomarkers and pathway al.erations such as dMMR, CDK12, and AR-V7 have been identified in advanced prostate cancer to predict immunotherapy responsiveness, the vast majority of prostate cancer remain intrinsical.y immune-resistant, as evidenced by l.w response rates to anti-PD(l.1 monotherapy. Since regul.tory approval.of the vaccine therapy sipul.ucel.T in the biomarker-unsel.cted popul.tion, there has not been much success with immunotherapy treatment in advanced prostate cancer. Researchers have l.oked at various strategies to overcome immune resistance, incl.ding the identification of more biomarkers and the combination of immunotherapy with existing effective prostate cancer treatments. On the horizon, novel.drugs using bispecific T-cel. engager (BiTE) and chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) technol.gy are being expl.red and have shown promising earl. efficacy in this disease. Here we discuss the features of the tumour microenvironment that predispose to immune resistance and rational.strategies to enhance antitumour responsiveness in advanced prostate cancer.
