High throughput sequencing reveals Drosophila suzukiiresponses to insecticides

Global climate change and acquired resistance to insecticides are threats to world food *** suzukii,a devastating invasive pest in many parts of the world,causes substantial economic losses to fruit production industries,forcing farmers to apply broad-spectrum insecticides frequently,This could lead to the development of insecticide *** determined the Lethal concentration 50 (median lethal concen- tration,Lc50)values of zeta-cypermethrin,spinosad,and malathion insecticides against *** colonies established from clarke and Pierce county Georgia,United States. The Lc50 values were 3 fold higher in the Pierce county population for all insecticide *** then used RNA sequencing to analyze the responses of Pierce and clarke population flies surviving a Lc50 treatment of the 3 *** identified a high num- ber of differentially expressed genes that are likely involved in detoxification and reduced cuticular penetration,especially in the Pierce population,with extensive overlap in differ- entially expressed genes between the 3 insecticide ***,we predicted fewer nonsynonymous single nucleotide variants having deleterious effects on protein function among detoxification,insecticide target,and cuticular protein encoding genes in Pierce *** a combination of increased gene expression and fewer deleterious single nu- cleotide variants highlights molecular mechanisms underlying the higher Lc50 values for Pierce population flies.

TWO MODELS FOR ROLL WAVES IN A MUD LAYER

As has been extensively reported by hydraulic engineers in china, the flow of hyperconcentrated fluid mud in rivers is often pulsating and appears as roll waves. We report here two theories for such pulsating flows besed on two constitutive laws: the power law and Bingham plastic law. In order to account for the nonlinear bores convective inertia is kept in the approximate long wave equations. Kar man's momentum integral method with an assumed velocity profile is then employed. Results of the linearized instability analyses are *** bores are obtained either as stationary wave solutions or as the long- time limit of unstable disturbances which are initially infinitesimal. Implications on ho scour is examined.

Laparoscopic nephroureterectomy for upper tract urothelial carcinoma-Update

The Fabrication of Bio-ceramsite for the Removal of Heavy Metals and Its Toxicity to Bacteria

Bio-ceramsite technology is one of the most effective technologies in the pretreatment of drinking water. In this work, bio-ceramsite was fabricated by citrobacterfreundii （c. freundii） immobilization on the ceramsite. The findings of the current study suggest that the bio-ceramites showed biosorption abilities for cd（II） and Pb（II） and the removal efficiency for Pb（II） is lower than cd（II）. The adsorption mechanism can be attributed to electrostatic attraction and covalent bond. The morphology of the cells changed after the adsorption of cd（II） and Pb（II） due to the dissociation of the assembly of peptidoglycan and lipopolysaccharide. The fluorescence polarization has shown a significant decrease in membrane fluidity and an increase of permeability of cell membrane. The spectral profile of c. freundii suggests the alteration of carbonyl, amide and phosphonic groups on the cell membrane.

Intense blue-emitting ca_2PO_4cl:Eu^(2+) phosphor for near-ultraviolet converting white light-emitting diodes

A blue phosphor ca2PO4cl:Eu2+(cAP:Eu2+) was synthesized by solid state *** ca2PO4cl:Eu2+ exhibited high quantum efficiency and excellent thermal *** luminescent intensity of ca2PO4cl:Eu2+ was found to be 128% under excitation at 380 nm,149% under 400 nm,and 247% under 420 nm as high as that of BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+.The optimal doping concentration was observed to 11 mol.% of cAP:Eu2+.The energy transfer between Eu2+ ions in cAP were occurred via electric multipolar interaction,and the critical transfer distance was estimated to be 1.26 nm.A mixture of blue-emitting ca2PO4cl:Eu2+,green-emitting(Ba,Sr)2SiO4:Eu2+ and red-emitting caAlSiN3:Eu2+ phosphors were selected in conjunction with 400 nm chip to fabricate white LED *** average color-rendering index Ra and correlated color temperature(Tc) of the white LEDs were found to be 93.4 and 4590 K,*** results indicated that it was a promising candidate as a blue-emitting phosphor for the near-UV white light-emitting diodes.

Two new compounds, oleanolic acid 28-O--D-glucopyranosyl-3-O--L-arabinopyrano- syl-(13)-(6-butyl ester)--D-glucuropyranoside 1, oleanolic acid 28-O--D-glucopyranosyl- (16)--D-glucopyranoside 2 have been isolated from the roots of Hemsleya penxianensis var. gulinensis. Their structures were determined on the bases of the spectral and chemical evidences.

Glass Formability and Soft Magnetic Properties of Bulk Y-Fe-B-Ti Metals

The Ti effects on the glass forming ability and the magnetic properties of Y-Fe-B-Ti bulk metallic glasses have been *** 2 and 4 at% Ti for Fe or B in Y_6Fe_ 70B_ 22 alloys decrease the saturation magnetization(σ_s)and deteriorate the glass forming ability,***,substitution of 2 at% Ti for Y in Y_6Fe_ 72B_ 22 alloy induces larger supercooled region of 72.7℃,which not only makes the bulk glassy rod as large as 3mm in diameter,but also results in the superior soft magnetic properties of σ_s=126emu/g,coercivity(H_c)=0.2 Oe and curie temperature(T_c)=268℃.Among all Y-Fe-B-Ti bulk amorphous rods,Y_4Fe_ 72B_ 22Ti_2 displays the best glass forming ability and also the proper soft magnetic properties.

Resonance Effect in Interaction Between South Asian Summer Monsoon and ENSO During 1958-2018

The study has shown that the shear component of the vertical integrated kinetic energy(Ks)over the box(40oE-100oE,0-20oN)can be used to measure the intensity of the South Asian summer monsoon(SASM).Based on its value averaged between June and August,the SASM can be divided into strong and weak monsoon ***1958 and 2018,there existed 16(16)strong(weak)monsoon *** on the calendar year,the relationship between the SASM and ENSO episodes can be grouped into six patterns:weak monsoon-El Ni?o(WM-EN),normal monsoon-El Ni?o(NM-EN),weak monsoon-non ENSO(WM-NE),strong monsoon-La Ni?a(SM-LN),normal monsoon-La Ni?a(NM-LN)and strong monsoon-non ENSO(SM-NE).Previous studies suggest that the WM-EN and SM-LN patterns reflect the correlated relationship between the SASM and El Ni?o/Southern Oscillation(ENSO)***,we name these two strongly coupled categories WM-EN and SM-LN as the resonance *** important circulations,i.e.,Walker circulation(Wc)and zonal Asian monsoon circulation(Mc),in the vertical plane are found to be not always *** Mc is controlled by thermal gradients between the Asian landmass and the tropical Indian Ocean,while the Wc associated with ENSO events is primarily the east-west thermal gradient between the tropical South Pacific and the tropical Indian ***,the gradient directions caused by different surface thermal conditions are *** main factor for the resonance effect is the phenomenon that the symbols of SSTA in the tropical Indian Ocean and the equatorial eastern Pacific are the same,but are opposite to that of the SSTA near the maritime continent.

曲梁结构具有外形美观、力学性能好和承载能力强等一系列优点,在建筑、桥梁、船舶和航空航天等领域得到广泛应用。首先,基于一阶剪切变形梁理论和哈密尔顿原理建立四种典型曲梁结构(即圆弧曲梁、椭圆曲梁、抛物曲梁和双曲曲梁)在复杂边界条件下的统一动力学分析模型。其次,对上述曲梁结构模型进行收敛性验证并确定最佳截断数和边界弹簧刚度的取值。然后,对已建立曲梁结构模型进行准确性验证并证明其可以快速求解复杂边界条件下曲梁结构的振动特性。最后,研究结构参数、边界条件和脉冲载荷类型对曲梁结构振动特性的影响。分析结果表明,曲梁结构厚度、弹性边界条件以及脉冲载荷类型对曲梁结构的振动特性具有不同程度的影响。
