The spatial diffusion of information is a process governed by the flow of interpersonal *** emergence of the Internet and especially social media platforms has reshaped this process and previous research has studied how online social networks contribute to the diffusion of *** such processes can help devise methods to maximize or control the reach of information or even identify upcoming events and social *** activities in cyberspace are still confined to physical locations and this geographic connection tends to be *** this research,we focus on geographic regions instead of individuals and study how the underlying hierarchical structure of regions relates to their response to the *** examined the top 30 populated cities and metropolitan areas in the *** retrieved Twitter data related to two selected topics from these regions,the 2015 Nepal Earthquake and the#Jesuischarlie hashtag in response to the Paris attacks on the charlie Hebdo *** analyzed the similarity among regions of their response using multiple statistical methods and three urban *** results indicate that the diffusion of information is impacted by the hierarchy of urban regions and that the Twitter responses act more similar when the populated regions are positioned at the same level in the urban hierarchy.

Purpose:The study aimed to examine the reporting completeness of randomized controlled trials(RcTs)of non-pharmacological interventions following ***:We searched MEDLINE,Embase,PsycInfo,cINAHL,and Web of Science up to May *** reviewers independently screened studies and assessed reporting completeness using the Template for Intervention Description and Replication(TIDieR),consensus on Exercise Reporting Template(cERT),and international consensus on Therapeutic Exercise aNd Training(i-cONTENT)*** information was sought my study authors where reporting was *** of bias(ROB)was assessed with the cochrane ROB-2 *** examining non-pharmacological interventions following ***:We included 89 RcTs(n=53 high ROB)examining 11 different interventions for concussion:sub-symptom threshold aerobic exercise,cervicovestibular therapy,physical/cognitive rest,vision therapy,education,psychotherapy,hyperbaric oxygen therapy,transcranial magnetic stimulation,blue light therapy,osteopathic manipulation,and head/neck *** scores were:TIDieR 9/12(75%;interquartile range(IQR)=5;range:5-12),cERT 17/19(89%;IQR=2;range:10-19),and i-cONTENT 6/7(86%;IQR=1;range:5-7).Percentage of studies completely reporting all items was TIDieR 35%(31/89),cERT 24%(5/21),and i-cONTENT 10%(2/21).Studies were more completely reported after publication of TIDieR(t_(87)=2.08;p=0.04)and cERT(t_(19)=2.72;p=0.01).Reporting completeness was not strongly associated with journal impact factor(TIDieR:rs=0.27;p=0.01;cERT:r_(s)=-0.44;p=0.06;i-cONTENT:r_(s)=-0.17;p=0.48)or ROB(TIDieR:rs=0.11;p=0.31;cERT:rs=0.04;p=0.86;i-cONTENT:rs=0.12;p=0.60).conclusion:RcTs of non-pharmacological interventions following concussion demonstrate moderate to good reporting completeness,but are often missing key components,particularly modifications,motivational strategies,and qualified *** completeness improved after TIDieR and cERT publication,but p

As the most common internal modification of mRNA,Ne-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)and its regulators modulate gene expression and play critical roles in various biological and patholog-ical processes including *** was reported previously that m^(6)A methyltransferase(writer),methyltransferase-like 3(METTL3)adds m^(6)A in primary microRNAs(pri-miRNAs)and fa-cilitates its processing into precursor miRNAs(pre-miRNAs).However,it is unknown whether m^(6)A modification also plays a role in the maturation process of pre-miRNAs and(if so)whether such a function contributes to ***,we found that YTHDF2 is aberrantly overexpressed in acute myeloid leukemia(AML)patients,especially in relapsed patients,and plays an onco-genic role in ***,YTHDF2 promotes expression of miR-126-3p(also known as miR-126,as it is the main product of precursor miR-126(pre-miR-126)),a miRNA that was reported as an oncomiRNA in AML,through facilitating the processing of pre-miR-126 into mature ***,YTHDF2 recognizes m^(6)A modification in pre-miR-126 and recruits AGO2,a regulator of pre-miRNA processing,to promote the maturation of ***2 posi-tively and negatively correlates with miR-126 and miR-126's downstream target genes,respec-tively,in AML patients,and forced expression of miR-126 could largely rescue YTHDF2/Ythdf2 depletion-mediated suppression on AML cell growth/proliferation and leukemogenesis,indi-cating that miR-126 is a functionally important target of YTHDF2 in ***,our studies not only reveal a previously unappreciated YTHDF2/miR-126 axis in AML and highlight the ther-apeutic potential of targeting this axis for AML treatment,but also suggest that m^(6)A plays a role in pre-miRNA processing that contributes to tumorigenesis.

Sodium-ion batteries are expected to be more affordable for stationary applications than lithium-ion batteries,while still offering sufficient energy density and operational capacity to power a significant segment of the battery *** this,thermal runaway explosions associated with organic electrolytes have led to concerns regarding the safety of sodium-ion *** electrolytes,ionic liquids are promising because they have negligible vapor pressure and show high thermal and electrochemical *** review discusses the safety contributions of these electrolyte properties for high-temperature *** ionic liquids provide thermal stability while at the same time promoting high-voltage window battery ***,apart from cycle stability,there is an additional safety feature attributed to modified ultra-concentrated ionic liquid *** these contributions,the following have been discussed,heat sources and thermal runaway mechanisms,thermal stability,the electrochemical decomposition mechanism of stable cations,and the ionic transport mechanism of ultra-concentrated ionic liquid *** addition,the contributions of hybrid electrolyte systems consisting of ionic liquids with either organic carbonate or polymers are also *** thermal stability of ionic liquids is found to be the main contributor to cell safety and cycle *** high-temperature applications where electrolyte safety,capacity,and cycle stability are important,highly concentrated ionic liquid electrolyte systems are potential solutions for sodium-ion battery applications.

BAcKGROUND Recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma(Hcc)following liver transplantation(LT)has a devastating influence on recipients’survival;however,the risk of recur-rence is not routinely *** stratification is vital with a long LT waiting time,as that could influence the recurrence despite strict listing *** This study aims to identify predictors of recurrence and develop a novel risk pre-diction score to forecast Hcc recurrence following *** A retrospective review of LT for Hcc recipients at University Hospitals Bir-mingham between July 2011 and February *** and multivariate analyses were performed to identify recurrence predictors,based on which the novel SIMAP500(satellite nodules,increase in size,microvascular invasion,AFP>500,poor differentiation)risk score was *** 234 LTs for Hcc were performed with a median follow-up of 5.3 *** developed in 25 patients(10.7%).On univariate analyses,RETREAT score>3,α-fetoprotein(AFP)at listing 100-500 and>500,bridging,increased tumour size between imaging at the listing time and explant histology,increase in the size of viable tumour between listing and explant,presence of satellite nodules,micro-and macrovascular invasion on explant and poor differentiation of tumours were significantly associated with recurrence,based on which,the SIMAP500 risk score is *** SIMAP500 demonstrated an excellent predictive ability(c-index=0.803)and outper-formed the RETREAT score(c-index=0.73).SIMAP500 is indicative of the time to disease *** SIMAP500 risk score identifies the LT recipients at risk of Hcc *** stratification allows patient-centric post-transplant surveillance *** validation of the score is recommended.

Elevation gradients within forested wetlands have long been recognized for their role in defining species composition through factors such as hydrology and soil *** reservoirs(GTRs)are leveeimpounded tracts of bottomland hardwood forest flooded throughout the winter months to provide habitat for overwintering *** flooding of GTRs alters the forest composition due to flood frequency,depth,and duration in combination with slight changes in *** evaluate the effect of elevation gradients,soil properties,and management techniques in the overstory species composition and red oak(Quercus spp.)species abundance,we inventoried 662 plots across 12 independent GTRs in eastern *** the lower elevations ranging from 50.98 to 54.99 m above sea level,the importance value index(IVI)was highest for nuttall oak(Quercus texana)and overcup oak(Quercus lyrata),whereas IVI shifted to cherrybark oak(Quercus pagoda)in the higher elevations ranging from 54.99 to 58.00 *** diversity did not differ by elevation gradient,soil property,or management technique within *** diversity,using non-metric multi-dimensional scaling(NMDS)analysis,indicated site-specific variability significantly correlated with the environmental predictors,including elevation(R^(2)=0.57),easting(R^(2)=0.47),soil texture(R^(2)=0.21),and pH(R^(2)=0.12).Red oak species-specific mixed-effects modeling of abundance response using Poisson distribution suggested an inverse correlation of nuttall oak and a direct correlation of cherrybark oak abundance with ***,willow oak(Quercus phellos)abundance was not significantly affected by elevation but was by silt loam soil texture and restoration management *** findings will aid management efforts to reduce the dominance of less desirable species that are prominent under specific environmental conditions and promote the dominance of more desirable *** GTR sustainability is increas

BAcKGROUND Liver disease incidence and hence demand on hepatology services is *** To describe trends in incidence and natural history of liver diseases in Wales to inform effective provision of hepatology *** The registry is populated by International classification of Diseases-10(IcD-10)code diagnoses for residents derived from mortality data and inpatient/day case activity between ***-anonymised linkage of:(1)causative diagnoses;(2)cirrhosis;(3)Portal hypertension;(4)Decompensation;and(5)Liver cancer diagnoses enabled tracking liver disease *** The population of Wales in 2019 was 3.1 *** 1999 and 201973054 individuals were diagnosed with a hepatic disorder,including 18633 diagnosed with cirrhosis,10965 with liver decompensation and 2316 with hepatocellular carcinoma(Hcc).Over 21 years the incidence of liver diseases increased 3.6 fold,predominantly driven by a 10 fold increase in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD);the leading cause of liver disease from *** incidence of cirrhosis,decompensation,Hcc,and allcause mortality ***-related mortality ***-related liver disease(ArLD),autoimmune liver disease and congestive hepatopathy were associated with the highest rates of decompensation and all-cause *** A 10 fold increase in NAFLD incidence is driving a 3.6 fold increase in liver disease in Wales over 21 ***-related morbidity and mortality rose more slowly reflecting the lower progression rate in *** of ArLD remained stable but was associated with the highest rates of liver-related and all-cause mortality.
