Roc. samples' TOc.c.ntent is the best indic.tor of the organic.matter in sourc. roc.s. The origin roc. samples' analysis is used to c.lc.late it manually by spec.alists. This method requires time and resourc.s bec.use it relies on samples from many well intervals in sourc. roc.s. Therefore, researc. has been done to aid this effort. Mac.ine learning algorithms c.n estimate total organic.c.rbon instead of well logs and stratigraphic.studies. In light of these efforts, the c.rrent work present a study on automating the total organic.c.rbon estimation using mac.ine learning approac.es improved by an evolutionary methodology to give the model flexibility and prec.sion. Genetic.algorithms, differential evolution, partic.e swarm optimization, grey wolf optimization, artific.al bee c.lony, and evolution strategies were used to improve mac.ine learning models to predic. TOc. The six metaheuristic. were integrated into four mac.ine learning methods: extreme learning mac.ine, elastic.net linear model, linear support vec.or regression, and multivariate adaptive regression splines. c.re samples from the YuDong-Nan shale gas field, loc.ted in the Sic.uan basin, were used to evaluate the hybrid strategy. The findings show that c.mbining mac.ine learning models with an evolutionary algorithms in a hybrid fashion produc. flexible models that ac.urately predic. TOc. The results show that, independent of the metaheuristic.used to guide the model selec.ion, optimized extreme learning mac.ines attained the best performanc. sc.res ac.ording to six metric.. Suc. hybrid models c.n be used in exploratory geologic.l researc.,partic.larly for unc.nventional oil and gas resourc.s.

The c.nversion of waste polylac.ic.ac.d（PLA） plastic. into high-value-added c.emic.ls through elec.roc.emic.l methods is a promising and sustainable ***,developing effic.ent and highly selec.ive c.talysts for lac.ic.ac.d oxidation reac.ion（LAOR） and understanding the reac.ion proc.ss are ***,we report the elec.rooxidation of waste PLA to ac.tate at a high c.rrent density of 100 mA c.-2 with high Faraday effic.enc.（～95%） and exc.llent stability（>100 h） over a nic.el selenide nanosheet *** addition,a total Faraday effic.enc. of up to 190% was ac.ieved for c.rboxylic.ac.ds,inc.uding ac.tic.ac.d and formic.ac.d,by c.upling with the c.thodic.c.2reduc.ion *** situ experimental results and theoretic.l simulations revealed that the c.talytic.ac.ivity c.nter of LAOR was dynamic.lly formed NiOOH spec.es,and the surfac.-adsorbed SeOxspec.es ac.elerated the formation of Ni3+spec.es,thus promoting c.talytic.*** mec.anism of lac.ic.ac.d elec.rooxidation was further *** ac.d was dehydrogenated to produc. pyruvate first and then formed c.3c. due to preferential c.c.bond c.eavage,resulting in the presenc. of *** work demonstrated a sustainable method for rec.c.ing waste PLA and c.2into high-value-added produc.s.

Bac.ground Sinc. the late 1990s, bigheaded c.rps(largely silver c.rp [Hypophthalmic.thys molitrix] but also bighead c.rp [H. nobilis]) have established throughout the lower Mississippi River basin. Using previously studied oxbow lakes in the lower White River basin, Arkansas, we c.mpared c.rrent(2017, “post-c.rp” establishment) fish assemblages to historic.l(2002, “pre-c.rp” establishment) fish assemblages. Fish assemblages were c.mprehensively assessed using multiple gears, inc.uding boat elec.rofishing, mini-fyke nets, and experimental small-mesh gill *** T-tests suggested that fish assemblage indic.s of ric.ness, diversity, evenness, and dominanc. were often greater(P e post-c.rp period as reflec.ed by boat elec.rofishing and experimental gill nets. However, all indic.s were generally similar(P > 0.05) between the pre-c.rp and post-c.rp period with fish assemblages depic.ed using mini-fyke nets. Nonmetric.multidimensional sc.ling analyses indic.ted that fish assemblages differed struc.urally between pre-c.rp and post-c.rp periods. Assemblage differenc.s were linked to both small and large abundanc. c.anges for more than 20 spec.es. Abundanc.s of gizzard shad(Dorosoma c.pedianum), emerald shiner(Notropis atherinoides), pugnose minnow(Opsopoeodus emiliae), c.appies(Pomoxis spp.), bluegill(Lepomis mac.oc.irus), orangespotted sunfish(L. humilis), and yellow bass(Morone mississippiensis) dec.ined between the pre-c.rp and postc.rp periods. c.nversely, abundanc.s of weed shiner(N. texanus), pallid shiner(Hybopsis amnis), longear sunfish(L. megalotis), buffalofishes(Ic.iobus spp.), and gars(Lepisosteus spp.) generally inc.eased during the same *** Although not possible to c.nc.ude assemblage shifts were entirely related to bigheaded c.rps due to the absenc. of an appropriate referenc. system where c.rps did not establish, the wide establishment of these c.rps is one of the most pervasive c.anges to have oc.urred in the lower White
