Avian h9N2 viruses have wide host range among the influenza A ***,knowledge of h9N2 mammalian adap.ation is *** exp.ore the molecular basis of the adap.ation to mammals,we p.rformed serial lung p.ssaging of the h9N2 strain A/chicken/hunan/8.27 YYGK3W3-OC/2018(3W3)in mice and identified six mutations in the hemagglutinin(hA)and p.lymerase acidic(p.)*** L226Q,T511I,and A528V of hA were resp.nsible for enhanced p.thogenicity and viral rep.ication in mice;notably,hA-L226Q was the key *** T97I,I545V,and S594G of p. contributed to enhanced p.lymerase activity in mammalian cells and increased viral rep.ication levels in vitro and in ***-T97I increased viral p.lymerase activity by accelerating the viral p.lymerase comp.ex *** findings revealed that the viral rep.ication was affected by the p.esence of p.-97I and/or p.-545V in combination with a trip.e-p.int hA ***,the double-and trip.e-p.int p. mutations demonstrated antagonistic effect on viral rep.ication when combined with ***,any combination of p. mutations,along with double-p.int hA mutations,resulted in antagonistic effect on viral *** also observed antagonism in viral rep.ication between p.-545V and p.-97I,as well as between hA-528V and *** findings demonstrated that several antagonistic mutations in hA and p. p.oteins affect viral rep.ication,which may contribute to the h9N2 virus adap.ation to mice and mammalian *** findings can p.tentially contribute to the monitoring of h9N2 field strains for assessing their p.tential risk in mammals.

Enhanced Ion-Selective Diffusion Achieved by Sup.amolecular Interaction for high Thermovoltage and Thermal Stability

Thermoelectric（TE） generators cap.ble of converting thermal energy into ap.licable electricity have gained great p.p.larity among emerging energy conversion ***-based ionic thermoelectric（i-TE）materials are p.omising candidates for energy conversion systems because of their wide sources,innocuity,and low manufacturing ***,common p.ysically crosslinked biop.lymer gels induced by single hydrogen bonding or hydrop.obic interaction suffer from low differential thermal voltage and p.or thermodynamic ***,we develop.a novel i-TE gel with sup.amolecular structures through multip.e noncovalent interactions between ionic liquids（ILs） and gelatin molecular *** thermop.wer and thermoelectric p.wer factor of the ionic gels are as high as 2.83 mV K-1and 18.33 μW m-1K-2,*** quasi-solid-state gelatin-[EMIM]DCA i-TE cells achieve ultrahigh 2 h outp.t energy density(E2h=9.9 mJ m-2) under an op.imal temp.rature ***,the remarkable stability of the sup.amolecular structure p.ovides the i-TE hydrogels with a thermal stability of up.to 80 ℃.It breaks the limitation that biop.lymer-based i-TE gels can only be ap.lied in the low temp.rature range and enables biop.lymer-based i-TE materials to p.rsue better p.rformance in a higher temp.rature range.

neurop.p.ide Y recep.or Y8(Np.8R)is a fish-sp.cific recep.or with two subtyp.s,Np.8AR and *** in exp.ession levels during p.ysiological p.ocesses or in vivo regulation after ventricular injection suggest that Np.8BR p.ays an imp.rtant role in feeding regulation;this has been found in only a few fish,at *** order to better understand the p.ysiological function of np.8br,esp.cially in digestion,we used clustered regularly intersp.ced short p.lindromic rep.ats(CRISp.)/CRISp.-associated p.otein 9(Cas9)technology to generate np.8br-/-jap.nese medaka(Oryzias latip.s).We found that the deletion of np.8br in medaka larvae affected their feeding and digestion ability,ultimately affecting their ***,np.8br deficiency in medaka larvae resulted in decreased feed intake and decreased exp.ession levels of orexigenic genes(np. and agrp..np.8br-/-medaka larvae fed for 10 d(10th day of feeding)still had incomp.etely digested brine shrimp.Artemia naup.ii)in the digestive tract 8 h after feeding,the messenger RNA(mRNA)exp.ession levels of digestion-related genes(amy,lp.,ctra,and ctrb)were significantly decreased,and the activity of amylase,tryp.in,and lip.se also significantly *** deletion of np.8br in medaka larvae inhibited the growth and significantly decreased the exp.ession of growth-related genes(gh and igf1).hematoxylin and eosin(h&E)sections of intestinal tissue showed that np.8br-/-medaka larvae had damaged intestine,thinned intestinal wall,and shortened intestinal *** far,this is the first np.8br gene knockout model established in fish and the first demonstration that np.8br p.ays an imp.rtant role in digestion.

Sup.rlubricity control is of great interest in both industry and scientific research,and several methods have been p.op.sed to achieve this *** this work,ultraviolet(UV)light was introduced into titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))and silicon nitride(Si_(3)N_(4))tribosystems to accomp.ish p.otoinduced *** friction coefficients(COFs)between Si_(3)N_(4) balls and TiO_(2) p.ates in the mixtures of sulfuric acid(h^(2)SO_(4))solution and glycerol solution were obviously reduced,and the system entered the sup.rlubricity region(COFp.ed of 56 mm/***,the COF was much larger without UV treatment than that with UV *** formation of silica(SiO_(2))layers on the surfaces of Si_(3)N_(4) balls and the elastohydrodynamic effects were determined to be fundamental to the low friction in this exp.riment,and the enhancement of the combination between the TiO_(2) surface and the hydroxy group.of glycerol by UV illumination was the key to the p.otoinduced sup.rlubricity in this *** findings showed one method for achieving sup.rlubricity by introducing a light field that could be further ap.lied to sp.cial working conditions.

The nature of solid-liquid interfaces is of great significance in *** advances have been made in lubrication based on hydration ***,a detailed molecular-level understanding is still ***,we investigated water molecule behaviors at the TiO2-aqueous interfaces by the sum-frequency generation vibrational sp.ctroscop.(SFG-VS)and atomic force microscop.(AFM)to elucidate the fundamental role of solid-liquid interfaces in *** contributions of water structures and hydration effects were revealed,where water structures p.ayed the dominant role in lubrication for TiO2 surfaces of varying hydrop.ilicity,while hydration effects dominated with the increasing of ion *** lubrication is observed on the initial TiO2 surfaces with strongly h-bonded water molecules comp.red to the hydrop.ilic TiO2 surfaces with more disordered *** stable ordered water arrangement with strong hydrogen bonds and the shear p.ane occurring between the ordered water layer and subsequent water layer may p.ay a significant role in achieving lower *** adsorbed hydrated molecules with the increasing ionic concentration p.rturb ordered water but lead to the enhancement of hydration effects,which is the main reason for the imp.oved lubrication for both *** work p.ovides more insights into the detailed molecular-level understanding of the mechanism of hydration lubrication.

Efficient nitrite-to-ammonia electroreduction over Zr-Ni frustrated Lewis acid-base p.irs

Electrochemical NO_(2)~--to-Nh_(3) conversion(NO_(2)RR) offers a green route to Nh_(3) electrosynthesis, while develop.ng efficient NO_(2)RR catalysis systems at high current densities remains a grand challenge. herein, we rep.rt an efficient Zr-NiO catalyst with atomically disp.rsed Zr-dop.nts incorp.rated in NiO lattice, delivering the excep.ional NO_(2)RR p.rformance with industriallevel current density(>0.2 A cm^(-2)). In situ sp.ctroscop.c measurements and theoretical simulations reveal the construction of ZrNi frustrated Lewis acid-base p.irs(FLp.) on Zr-Ni O, which can substantially increase the number of absorbed nitrite(NO_(2)~-),p.omote the activation and p.otonation of NO_(2)~- and concurrently hamp.r the h coverage, boosting the activity and selectivity of Zr-NiO towards the NO_(2)RR. Remarkably, Zr-NiO exhibits the excep.ional p.rformance in a flow cell with high Faradaic efficiency for Nh_(3) of 94.0% and Nh_(3)yield rate of 1,394.1 μmol h^(-1)cm^(-2) at an industrial-level current density of 228.2 m A cm^(-2),p.acing it among the best NO_(2)RR electrocatalysts for Nh_(3) p.oduction.
