As a lot of electromagnetic pollution and interference issues have emerged,to overcome electromagnetic interference,prevent electromagnetic hazards,and develop new high-performance electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbers have become a significant task in the field of materials *** this paper,a three-dimensional(3D)carbon nanofibers network with core-shell structure,embedded with varied molar ratios of iron and cobalt(4:0,3:1,2:2,1:3,0:4),was effectively synthesized(Fe/Co@C-CnFs)via *** phase,microstructure,magnetic and EMW absorption properties were *** is discovered that Fe/Co@C-CnFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:1 have excellent EMW absorption *** the matching thickness is 1.08 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RL)value is-18.66 dB,while the maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)reaches 4.2 GHz(13.9-18 GHz)at a thickness of 1.22 *** is owing to the absorbers'superior impedance matching and multiple reflections as well as the conductivity,dielectric,and magnetic losses of carbon nanofibers embedded with Fe-Co alloy *** addition,the radar cross section(RCS)of the absorbers has been calculated by CST Studio Suite,showing that the absorbing coating can effectively reduce the RCS at various angles,especially for Fe/Co@C-CnFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:*** findings not only provide new insights for the preparation of light-weight and high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers,but also contribute to energy storage and conversion.

Cathode interfacial materials(CIMs)stand as critical elemental in organic solar cells(OSCs),which can align energy levels,and foster ohmic contacts between the cathode and active layer of the ***,the lagging advancement in CIMs has concurrently engendered the oversight of theoretical inquiries pertaining to the impact of molecular structure on their *** into this realm,we present two propeller-shaped isomers,4,4',4''-(benzo[1,2-b:3,4-b':5,6-b'']trithiophene-2,5,8-triyl)tris(2-(3-(dimethylamino)propyl)-1H-benzo[de]isoquinoline-1,3(2H)-dione)(3OnIn)and 6,6',6''-(benzo[1,2-b:3,4-b':5,6-b'']trithiophene-2,5,8-triyl)tris(2-(3-(dimethylamino)propyl)-1H-benzo[de]isoquinoline-1,3(2H)-dione)(3PnIn),distinguished by their molecular planarity,as a promising foundation for crafting highly efficient *** study illuminates the superiority of 3PnIn with more plane structure,exemplified by its enhanced molar extinction coefficient,deeper lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)and highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)energy levels,intensified self-doping effect,heightened electron mobility,and elevated conductivity,in comparison to its counterpart,*** a result,3PnIn and 3OnIn-treated OSC devices yield efficiencies of 17.73%and 16.82%,*** finding serves as a compelling validation of the critical role played by molecular planarity in influencing CIM performance.

Aerogel-based composites hold promising application prospects as potential electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption materials,yet the construction of such materials with ingenious microstructures,appropriate magnetic/dielectric multi-components,and integrated multifunctionality remains considerably ***,a multicomponent Co/MnO/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene/rGO(CMMG)hybrid aerogel featured with three-dimensional(3D)vertical directional channel architecture is *** from the synergistic effect arising from the 3D conductive networking structure,diverse heterogeneous interfaces,magnetic/dielectric multicomponent,and multiple loss pathways,the optimized CMMG-2 aerogel delivers fascinating EMW absorption capabilities,characterized by a minimal reflection loss(RL_(min))of-77.41 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 6.56 ***,the remarkable hydrophobicity,exceptional thermal insulation capabilities,and outstanding photothermal properties of CMMG-2 aerogel make it highly promising for multiple application in diverse and demanding ***,the distinctive pore structure of hybrid aerogel also allows it for sensitive and reliable detection of electrical signals caused by pressure changes and human ***,this research provides a viable design strategy for the development of lightweight,efficient,and multifunctional aerogel-based EMW absorption materials for various application scenarios.

The Li metal battery with ultrahigh-nickel cathode(Lini_(x)M_(1-x)O_(2),M=Mn,Co,and x≥0.9)under high-voltage is regarded as one of the most promising approaches to fulfill the ambitious target of 400 Wh/***,the practical application is impeded by the instability of electrode/electrolyte interface and ni-rich cathode *** we proposed an electron-defect electrolyte additive trimethyl borate(TMB)which is paired with the commercial carbonate electrolyte to construct highly conductive fluorine-and boron-rich cathode electrolyte interface(CEI)on Lini_(0.9)Co_(0.05)Mn_(0.05)O_(2)(nCM90)surface and solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)on lithium metal *** modified CEI effectively mitigates the structural transformation from layered to disordered rock-salt phase,and consequently alleviate the dissolution of transition metal ions(TMs)and its“cross-talk”effect,while the enhanced SEI enables stable lithium plating/striping and thus demonstrated good compatibility between electrolyte and lithium metal *** a result,the common electrolyte with 1 wt%TMB enables 4.7 V nCM90/Li cell cycle stably over 100 cycles with 70%capacity *** work highlights the significance of the electron-defect boron compounds for designing desirable interfacial chemistries to achieve high performance nCM90/Li battery under high voltage operation.

Illuminating spin-crossover octanuclear metal-organic cages

Spin-crossover(SCO)materials that reversibly switch between high-and low-spin states have potential for the storage of spin state-relative information,and have gained much attention incorporating secondary physical properties,such as fluorescence and magneto-optical *** this study,we synthesized three octanuclear metal-organic cages(MOCs)using tetraphenylethylene-based luminophores,aldehydes,and Fe^(Ⅱ)salts,by subcomponent self-assembly approach,namely[Fe1]-[Fe3].By controlling the ligand-field strength and guest encapsulation,we finely tuned their SCO *** them,MOC[Fe2]displayed nearly complete SCO behavior in the solid state,which is rare for high-nuclearity *** also demonstrated the coupling of SCO with fluorescence emission in these MOCs by using isostructural Zn^(Ⅱ)complexes([Zn1]-[Zn3])as control experiments,for the first *** calculations revealed the energy-transfer mechanism between fluorophores and SCOactive centers,which emphasizes the significant contribution of d-d transitions in the interplay between the occurrence of SCO and fluorescence emission.

In the face of sudden pandemics,it becomes crucial for project managers to quickly adapt and make informed decisions that anticipate the consequences of their *** highlights the need for proactive management strategies to enhance epidemic response ***,current research mainly emphasizes the negative impacts of pandemics,often neglecting the development of adaptable management approaches for construction *** study aims to fill this research void by developing strategies tailored to managing pandemics at construction *** agent-based modeling,the study simulates the movement patterns of workers and the consequent spread of an epidemic under different risk scenarios and management *** results indicate that measures such as wearing masks,managing group activities,and enforcing entry controls can significantly reduce epidemic spread on construction sites,with entry controls showing the greatest effectiveness.

Distinct Electrical and Mechanical Responses of a Cu-10Fe Composite Prepared by Hot-Pressed Sintering and Post Treatment

A Cu-10wt%Fe composite was prepared through hot-pressed sintering,and the material was subsequently solution *** hot-pressed sintered and solution treated materials were rolled and *** precipitation behavior and performance changes were systematically studied by using scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** contrast to the hot-pressed sintered specimen,the solution treatment significantly affects the thermal stability and properties of the Cu-10wt%Fe *** Cu-10wt%Fe composite was prepared after solid solution,cold rolling and aging at 773 K for 1 h,and it obtained excellent tensile strength of 494 MPa,uniform elongation of 16.3%,electrical conductivity of 51.1%IACS and softening temperature of 838 *** for the distinct difference in thermal stability and properties between hot-pressed sintered and solution treated specimens were *** findings provide a theoretical basis for designing high-performance Cu-based in-situ composites by post treatment.
