A1N films were prepared on Si（100） and quartz glass substrates with high deposition rate of 30 nm-min-I at the temperature of below 85 ℃ by the magnetic-filtered cathodic arc ion plating （FCAIP） method. The as-deposited A1N films show very smooth surface and almost no macrodroplets. The films are in amorphous state, and the formation of A1N is confirmed by Nls and A12p X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）. The XPS depth profile analysis shows that oxygen is mainly absorbed on the A1N surface. The A1N film has A1 and N concentrations close to the stoichiometric ratio with a small amount of A1203. The prepared A1N films are highly transparent over the wave- length range of 210-990 nm. The optical transmission spectrum reveals the bandgap of 6.1 eV. The present technique provides a good approach to prepare large-scale A1N films with controlled structure and good optical properties at low temperature.

Environmental barrier coatings(EBCs)effectively protect the ceramic matrix composites(CMCs)from harsh engine environments,especially steam and molten ***,open pores inevitably formed during the deposition process provide the transport channels for oxidants and corrosives,and lead to premature failure of *** research work proposed a method of pressure infiltration densification which blocked these open pores in the *** results showed that it was difficult for aluminum to infiltrate spontaneously,but with the increase of external gas pressure and internal vacuum simultaneously,the molten aluminum obviously moved forward,and finally stopped infiltrating at a depth of a specific *** on the wrinkled zigzag pore model,a mathematical relationship between the critical pressure with the infiltration depth and the pore intrinsic geometry was *** infiltration results confirmed this relationship,indicating that for a given coating,a dense thick film can be obtained by adjusting the internal and external gas pressures to drive a melt infiltration.

ZrO_(2)-7 wt% Y_(2)O_(3)(7YSZ)thermal barrier coatings(TBCs)with three different structures were prepared by atmospheric plasma spraying(APS),electron beam physical vapor deposition(EB-PVD)and plasma spray-physical vapor deposition(PS-PVD).Al films were deposited onto the top 7YSZ TBCs by magnetron sputtering,and the Al-deposited 7YSZ TBCs were subjected to vacuum heat *** effects of Al modification on the thermal insulation properties of 7YSZ TBCs were *** results showed that Al modification could significantly improve the thermal insulation of 7YSZ TBCs at 1000℃.Moreover,the maximum improvement of thermal insulation for PS-PVD 7YSZ TBCs was approximately 100℃,but the improvement decreased with increasing *** is mainly because with increasing temperature,the rate of radiation heat transfer increases,and the effects of convection heat transfer and thermal conductivity on thermal insulation are *** the same temperature,Al modification of PS-PVD7YSZ TBCs provides better temperature insulation than those of APS 7YSZ TBCs and EB-PVD 7YSZ TBCs because of its wider and deeper inter-columnar *** the temperature was 12000C,Al modification still caused a good insulation effect in PS-PVD 7YSZ TBCs;the improvement was approximately 50℃,but in APS and EB-PVD 7YSZ TBCs,the insulation effect disappeared.

Recently,heavy precipitation(HP)events have occurred frequently in North China(NC),causing devastating economic losses and human ***,the short-term climate prediction of HP is quite *** year-to-year increment(DY)method and sliding correlations,we developed a robust seasonal prediction model for late-summer HP days(HPDs)in NC during 1982–2022,utilizing three independent predictors—February sea surface temperature(SST)in the Indian Ocean(SST_IO),February snow depth over North Asia(SDE_NA),and May melted snow depth in NC(MSDE_NC).The SST_IO anomalies affect NC's precipitation through the Pacific-Japan *** SDE_NA anomalies are associated with East Asian anomalous anticyclone by southeastern propagation of Rossby wave at *** MSDE_NC anomalies are followed by vertical motion and moisture anomalies in situ and thereby cause precipitation *** prediction model can well simulate the variations of the HPDs,with a correlation coefficient(CC)of 0.81(0.65)between the observed and predicted HPDs_DY(HPDs_anomaly).The percentage with the same sign for 15 extreme HPDs_anomaly years(PSSE)is 100%.Moreover,in the cross-validation test during 1982–2022,the PSSE for HPDs_anomaly is as high as 100%,along with a low rootmean-square error of *** independent hindcasts during 2013–2022,the CC between the observed and predicted HPDs_DY(HPDs_anomaly)is 0.93(0.83),together with high Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(0.82)and agreement index(0.89).Specifically,the predictions are broadly consistent with the observations for 2015,2016,2017,2021,and 2022,reflecting excellent performance of this prediction model of HPDs in NC.

In this work,the Cr/CrN/Cr/CrAlN multilayer coatings with different modulation ratios were prepared by arc ion *** microstructure of coatings were analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The mechanical properties of the coatings were tested by Vickers micro-hardness tester and scratch *** stress changes during the coating process was studied by the finite element method and the failure mechanism was also *** results show that the Cr/CrN/Cr/CrAlN multilayer coatings have a high hardness(greater than 3000 HV) and good bonding properties(around 80 N).In addition,it was found that the sand erosion resistance of the multilayer coating is significantly higher than that of the uncoated sample according to the sand erosion *** them,the sand erosion resistance of the Cr/CrN/Cr/CrAIN coating is 5 times that of the titanium alloy substrate at 90°.And the dynamic response and stress field of the coating under the impact of single particles(Al O) were studied by numerical *** cause of coating cracking was determined,and the crack resistance mechanism of the coating was analyzed from crack growth morphology according to crack growth and stress analysis.

Biomass-derived heteroatom self-doped cathode catalysts has attracted considerable interest for electrochemical advanced oxidation processes(EAOPs)due to its high performance and sustainable ***,we illustrated the morphological fates of waste leaf-derived graphitic carbon(WLGC)produced from waste ginkgo leaves via pyrolysis temperature regulation and used as bifunctional cathode catalyst for simultaneous H_(2)O_(2) electrochemical generation and organic pollutant degradation,discovering S/N-self-doping shown to facilitate a synergistic effect on reactive oxygen species(ROS)*** the optimum temperature of 800℃,the WLGC exhibited a H_(2)O_(2) selectivity of 94.2%and tetracycline removal of 99.3%within 60 *** functional theory calculations and in-situ Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy verified that graphitic N was the critical site for H_(2)O_(2) *** pyridinic N and thiophene S were the main active sites responsible for OH generation,N vacancies were the active sites to produce ^(1)O_(2) from O_(2).The performance of the novel cathode for tetracycline degradation remains well under a wide pH range(3–11),maintaining excellent stability in 10 *** is also industrially applicable,achieving satisfactory performance treating in real water *** system facilitates both radical and non-radical degradation,offering valuable advances in the preparation of cost-effective and sustainable electrocatalysts and hold strong potentials in metal-free EAOPs for organic pollutant degradation.

The commonly-employed material for thermal barrier coatings(TBCs)is 7 wt.%Y2O3 ZrO2(7YSZ),generally deposited by electron beam-physical vapor deposition(EB-PVD).Due to the increasing demand for higher operating temperature in aero-derivative gas turbines,a lot of effort has been made to prevent the premature failure of columnar 7YSZ TBCs,which is induced by the microstructure degradation,sintering and spallation after the deposition of infiltrated siliceous mineral(consisting of calcium magnesium aluminum silicate(CaO MgO Al2O3 SiO2,i.e.,CMAS)).A new method called Al-modification for columnar 7YSZ TBCs against CMAS corrosion was *** Al film was magnetron-sputtered on the surface of the columnar 7YSZ TBCs,followed by performing vacuum heat treatment of the Al-deposited *** the heat treatment,the molten Al reacted with ZrO2 to formα-Al2O3 overlay that effectively hindered CMAS ***,the Al film could evaporate and re-nucleate,leading to the generation of Al2O3 nanowires,which further restrained the moving of molten CMAS.
