The new racemic and dimeric in dole alkaloids with the characteristic cyclope nta[b]indole backb one,(+)-and(-)-sp on domi ne(la/lb),were isolated from a cultured sponge Tedania anhelans.A semi-synthesis was employed to obtain la/lb and the other four stereoisomers *** structures were determined by spectroscopic analysis,single-crystal X-ray,and quantum chemical *** stereoisomers differ in bioactivity according to their absolute con ***,(+)-sp on domi ne(la)displayed cytotoxicity against the K562 cell line and exhibited stronger Wnt and HIF1 dual signaling inhibitory activity at 5 pmol/L than the positive control,which offers an exciting starting point for further *** stereoisomers significantly promoted angiogenesis and showed moderate anti-inflammation in zebrafish.A quantum chemical calculation and deuteration experiment were applied to unveil the reacti on mechanism which guides the synthesis of the target compounds.

Enhancement of bending toughness for Fe-based amorphous nanocrystalline alloy with deep cryogenic-cycling treatment

The effects of deep cryogenic-cycling treatment(DCT)on the mechanical properties,soft magnetic properties,and atomic scale structure of the Fe_(73.5)Si_(13.5)B_(9)Nb_(3)Cu_(1)amorphous nanocrystalline alloy were *** DCT samples were obtained by subjecting the as-annealed samples to a thermal cycling process between the temperature of the supercooled liquid zone and the temperature of liquid *** flat plate bending testing,hardness measurements,and nanoindentation experiment,it is found that the bending toughness of the DCT samples is improved and the soft magnetic properties are also slightly *** are attributed to the rejuvenation behavior of the DCT samples,which demonstrate a higher enthalpy of ***,DCT is an effective method to enhance the bending toughness of Fe-based amorphous nanocrystalline alloys without degrading the soft magnetic properties.

Three new minor prenylated flavonoids,named macadenanthins A–C(1–3),together with three known ones(4–6),were isolated from the twigs of Macaranga *** structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis including NMR,UV and *** prenyl moieties in compounds 1–3 were further modified by cyclization and *** new compounds were tested for their cytotoxicity against four cancer cell lines(MCF-7,Hep G2,Hela and P388)and showed IC50 values in the range of 13.76–22.27 lM.

Distributed Observer for Full-Measured Nonlinear Systems Based on Knowledge of FMCF

Driven by practical applications, the achievement of distributed observers for nonlinear systems has emerged as a crucial advancement in recent years. However, existing theoretical advancements face certain limitations: They either fail to address more complex nonlinear phenomena, rely on hard-to-verify assumptions, or encounter difficulties in solving system ***, this paper aims to address these challenges by investigating distributed observers for nonlinear systems through the full-measured canonical form(FMCF), which is inspired by full-measured system(FMS) theory. To begin with, this study addresses the fact that the FMCF can only be obtained through the observable canonical form(OCF) in existing FMS *** paper demonstrates that a class of nonlinear systems can directly obtain FMCF through state space equations, independent of OCF. Also, a general method for solving FMCF in such systems is provided. Furthermore, based on the FMCF, A distributed observer is developed for nonlinear systems under two scenarios: Lipschitz conditions and open-loop bounded *** paper establishes their asymptotic omniscience and demonstrates that the designed distributed observer in this study has fewer design parameters and is more convenient to construct than existing approaches. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methods is validated through simulation results on Van der Pol oscillators and microgrid systems.

Phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of Euphorbia sikkimensis led to the isolation of one new diterpenoids,named sikkimenoid E(1),together with thirteen other known compounds(2-14).Their structures were established by means of spectroscopic *** 2 was identified to be a trinortriterpenoid,and derived for the first time from a natural *** this paper we reveal for the first time its comprehensive spectral data and NMR spectral *** 4 showed anti-angiogenic activity with an IC_(50) value of 5.66μM in a zebrafish model,and compounds 5 and 6 exhibited cytotoxicity toward A549 cell line with IC_(50) values of 12.12 and 6.45μM,respectively.

The adsorption of pollutants can not only promote the direct surface reaction,but also modify the catalyst itself to improve its photoelectric characteristics,which is rarely studied for water treatment with inorganic photocatalyst.A highly crystalline BiOBr(c-BiOBr)was synthesized by a two-step preparation *** to the calcination,the highly crystalline enhanced the interface interaction between pollutant and *** complex of organic pollutant and[Bi_(2)O_(2)]^(2+)could promote the active electron transfer from the adsorbed pollutant to c-BiOBr for the direct pollutant degradation by holes(h^(+)).Moreover,the pollutant adsorption actually modified c-BiOBr and promoted more unpaired electrons,which would coupling with the photoexcitation to promote generate more O_(2)^(•-).The molecular modification effect derived from pollutant adsorption significantly improved the removal of *** work strongly deepens the understanding of the molecularmodification effect from the pollutant adsorption and develops a novel and efficient approach for water treatment.

Numerical simulation of microstructure and microporosity morphology in directional solidification of aluminum-copper alloys:Effect of copper content and withdrawal rate

Microporosity formed in the solidification process of Al alloys is detrimental to the alloy properties.A two-dimensional cellular automaton(CA)model was developed to simulate the microstructure and microporosity formation in Al-Cu alloys,considering variations in Cu content and solidification *** results indicate that the Cu content primarily influences the growth of *** validate the model,directional solidification experiments were conducted on Al-Cu alloys with varing Cu contents and withdrawal *** experimental results of dendrites and microporosity characteristics agree well with the predictions from the developed model,thus confirming the validity of the *** alloy’s liquidus temperature,dendrite morphology,and hydrogen saturation solubility arising from different Cu contents have significant effects on microporosity *** withdrawal rate primarily affects the nucleation of hydrogen microporosity by altering cooling rates and dendritic growth rates,resulting in different microporosity characteristics.

Actively tunable electromagnetically induced transparency in hybrid Dirac-VO_(2) metamaterials

In this paper,we present a metamaterial structure of Dirac and vanadium dioxide(VO_(2))and investigate its optical properties using the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)*** the phase transition feature of VO_(2),the design can realize active tuning of the plasmon induced transparency(PIT)effect at terahertz frequency,thereby converting from a single PIT to a *** VO_(2) is in the insulating state,the structure is symmetric to obtain a single-band PIT *** VO_(2) is in the metallic state,the structure turns asymmetric to realize a dual-band PIT *** design provides a reference direction for the design of actively tunable ***,it is discovered that the transparent window's resonant frequency and the Fermi level in this structure have a somewhat linear *** addition,the structure achieves superior refractive index sensitivity in the terahertz band,surpassing 1 THz/***,the design exhibits encouraging potential for application in refractive index sensors and optical switches.
