Online monitoring of gases dissolved in transformer oil is widely applied.Improving the performance of dissolved gas analysis(DGA)‐based fault diagnosis methods by exploring new features of time‐series data has become an appealing topic.In this study,a new type of correlation features between characteristic gases was extracted from time‐series data based on the maximal information coefficient(MIC),and a fuzzy inference system was established.After the introduction of the principle of the MIC and a method for calculating the MIC‐based correlation features,the dominant symptom features that can be used to classify fault types were extracted through the receiver operating characteristic curve.Then,fuzzy rules were learnt,and a fuzzy inference system was designed.In addition,to improve the feasibility of the method,the Newton interpolation method was used for adaptation to the existing sampling cycle.The diagnostic results of the test data show that the proposed method has excellent per-formance and outperforms some prevailing traditional rule‐based methods as well as some artificial intelligent methods.The results also show that by exploring new cor-relation features from time‐series data based on the MIC,the performance of DGA‐based methods can be improved.

Human gene therapy has made significant advances in less than two decades.Within this short period of time,gene therapy has proceeded from the conceptual stage to technology development and laboratory research,and finally to clinical trials for the treatment of a variety of deadly diseases.Cardiovascular disease,cancer,and stroke are leading causes of death worldwide.Despite advances in medical,interventional,radiation and surgical treatments,the mortality rate remains high,and the need for novel therapies is great.Gene therapy provides an efficient approach to disease treatment.Notable advances in gene therapy have been made for genetic disorders,including severe combined immune deficiency,chronic granulomatus disorder,hemophilia and blindness,as well as for acquired diseases,including cancer and neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases.However,lack of an efficient delivery system to target cells as well as the difficulty of sustained expression of transgenes has hindered advancements in gene therapy.Ultrasound targeted microbubble destruction(UTMD)is a promising approach for target-specific gene delivery,and it has been successfully investigated for the treatment of many diseases in the past decade.In this paper,we review UTMD-mediated gene delivery for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases,cancer and stroke.

BACKGROUND Acute cholecystitis (AC) is a common disease in general surgery. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) is widely recognized as the "gold standard" surgical procedure for treating AC. For low-risk patients without complications, LC is the recommended treatment plan, but there is still controversy regarding the treatment strategy for moderate AC patients, which relies more on the surgeon's experience and the medical platform of the visiting unit. Percutaneous transhepatic gallbladder puncture drainage (PTGBD) can effectively alleviate gallbladder inflammation, reduce gallbladder wall edema and adhesion around the gallbladder, and create a "time window" for elective surgery. AIM To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of LC or PTGBD combined with LC for treating AC patients, providing a theoretical basis for choosing reasonable surgical methods for AC patients. METHODS In this study, we conducted a clinical investigation regarding the combined use of PTGBD tubes for the treatment of gastric cancer patients with AC. We performed searches in the following databases: PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, Cochrane library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wanfang Database. The search encompassed literature published from the inception of these databases to the present. Subsequently, relevant data were extracted, and a meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.3 software. RESULTS A comprehensive analysis was conducted, encompassing 24 studies involving a total of 2564 patients. These patients were categorized into two groups: 1371 in the LC group and 1193 in the PTGBD + LC group. The outcomes of the meta-analysis revealed noteworthy disparities between the PTGBD + LC group and the LC group in multiple dimensions: (1) Operative time: Mean difference (MD) = 17.51, 95%CI: 9.53-25.49, P < 0.01; (2) Conversion to open surgery rate: Odds ratio (OR) = 2.95, 95%CI: 1.90-4.58, P < 0.01; (3) Intraoperative bleeding loss: MD = 32.27, 95%CI: 23.03-41.50, P < 0.01; (4) Postoperative hospital

Objective This study aimed to efficiently reduce the release of radon from water bodies to protect the environment.Methods Based on the sizes of the experimental setup and modular float,computational fluid dynamics(CFD)was used to assess the impact of the area coverage rate,immersion depth,diffusion coefficient,and radon transfer velocity at the gas–liquid interface on radon migration and exhalation of radon-containing water.Based on the numerical simulation results,an estimation model for the radon retardation rate was constructed.The effectiveness of the CFD simulation was evaluated by comparing the experimental and simulated variation values of the radon retardation rate with the coverage area rates.Results The effect of radon transfer velocity on radon retardation in water bodies was minor and insignificant according to the appropriate value;therefore,an estimation model of the radon retardation rate of the coverage of a radon-containing water body was constructed using the synergistic impacts of three factors:area coverage rate,immersion depth,and diffusion coefficient.The deviation between the experimental and simulated results was<4.3%.Conclusion Based on the numerical simulation conditions,an estimation model of the radon retardation rate of covering floats in water bodies under the synergistic effect of multiple factors was obtained,which provides a reference for designing covering floats for radon retardation in radoncontaining water.

The interaction between soil and marine structures like submarine pipeline/pipe pile/suction caisson is a complicated geotechnical mechanism process.In this study,the interface is discretized into multiple mesoscopic contact elements that are damaged randomly throughout the shearing process due to the natural heterogeneity.The evolution equation of damage variable is developed based on the Weibull function,which is able to cover a rather wide range of distribution shapes by only two parameters,making it applicable for varying scenarios.Accordingly,a statistical damage model is established by incorporating Mohr–Coulomb strength criterion,in which the interfacial residual strength is considered whereby the strain softening behavior can be described.A concept of“semi-softening”characteristic point on shear stress–displacement curve is proposed for effectively modeling the evolution of strain softening.Finally,a series of ring shear tests of the interfaces between fine sea sand and smooth/rough steel surfaces are conducted.The predicted results using the proposed model are compared with experimental data of this study as well as some results from existing literature,indicating that the model has a good performance in modeling the progressive failure and strain softening behavior for various types of soil–structure interfaces.

Syphilis,a sexually transmitted infection(STI),is caused by Treponema pallidum.Syphilis continues to be a major public health problem worldwide.Positive responses to the treatment of syphilis are indicated by a four-fold decrease in non-treponemal titers or seroreversion post-treatment.Approximately 5%to 41%of patients with syphilis do not respond to treatment and remain serofast[1,2,3]and only show a less than four-fold(two-dilution)decrease in non-treponemal antibody titers after 6 months in early-stage syphilis and 12 months in late-stage syphilis,or show consistently low titers post-treatment.[4,5,6]These conditions have been referred to as the serofast state.To date,the pathogenesis of the serofast state is unclear and it is hard to predict serofast occurrence.

In the fermentation process of biorefinery,industrial strains are normally subjected to adverse environmental stresses,which leads to their slow growth,yield decline,a substantial increase in energy consumption,and other negative consequences,which ultimately seriously hamper the development of biorefinery.How to minimize the impact of stress on microorganisms is of great significance.This review not only reveals the damaging effects of different environmental stresses on microbial strains but also introduces commonly used strategies to improve microbial tolerance,including adaptive evolution,reprogramming of the industrial host based on genetic circuits,global transcription machinery engineering(gTME)and bioprocess integration.Furthermore,by integrating the advantages of these strategies and reducing the cost of system operation,the tolerance of industrial strains,combined with production efficiency and process stability,will be greatly improved,and the development prospects of biorefinery will be more widespread.

Among steganalysis techniques,detection against MV(motion vector)domain-based video steganography in the HEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding)standard remains a challenging issue.For the purpose of improving the detection performance,this paper proposes a steganalysis method that can perfectly detectMV-based steganography in HEVC.Firstly,we define the local optimality of MVP(Motion Vector Prediction)based on the technology of AMVP(Advanced Motion Vector Prediction).Secondly,we analyze that in HEVC video,message embedding either usingMVP index orMVD(Motion Vector Difference)may destroy the above optimality of MVP.And then,we define the optimal rate of MVP as a steganalysis feature.Finally,we conduct steganalysis detection experiments on two general datasets for three popular steganographymethods and compare the performance with four state-ofthe-art steganalysis methods.The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed feature set.Furthermore,our method stands out for its practical applicability,requiring no model training and exhibiting low computational complexity,making it a viable solution for real-world scenarios.

The oxidation behavior and kinetics of Ti_(2)AlC-20vol.%TiB_(2) composite at 600-900℃ in air were investigated.The results showed that the oxidation kinetics of the composite followed a logarithmic law within the given temperature range,which indicated that the composites had excellent oxidation resistance.The selective oxidation of Al in Ti_(2)AlC was greatly enhanced,which facilitated the formation of a continuous and dense protective layer of Al_(2)O_(3).Meanwhile,the existence of molten B_(2)O_(3) inhibited the outward diffusion of Ti and inward diffusion of oxygen,which prevented the growth of anatase TiO_(2) at 600℃ and rutile TiO_(2) at 700-900℃.Therefore,the incorporation of TiB_(2) completely inhibited the abnormally rapid oxidation of bulk Ti_(2)AlC at 600℃ and improved its oxidation resistance at 700-900℃.

The structure of electroslag remelting-type CaF_(2)–CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–CeO_(2)slag with various CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)mass ratios and its correlation with viscosity and surface tension were investigated.The Raman analysis of the slag shows that with increasing CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)mass ratio from 0.70 to 1.29 in the slag,the polymerization degree of the slag decreased,which was because more complex[AlO_(4)]-tetrahedral units of Q_(Al)^(3) and Q_(Al)^(4)were depolymerized to form relatively simpler structural units Q_(Al)^(0),Q_(Al)^(1),and Q_(Al)^(2),and the excess oxygen ions introduced by CaO promoted the transformation of[AlO_(4)]-tetrahedral units to[AlO_(6)]-octahedral units.Increasing CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)mass ratio has an obvious effect on reducing the viscosity and activation energy for viscous flow of the slag,resulting from the depolymerization of the slag.Owing to the decrease in the polymerization degree and the increase in the total Ca^(2+)content of the slag,the surface tension of the slag increases with the increase in CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)mass ratio.The surface tension of the slag changes slightly with the temperature,irrespective of CaO/Al_(2)O_(3)mass ratio from 0.70 to 1.29 in the slag.
