Natural Convection Melting in a Rectangular Heat Storage Tank of Carbon Nanotube Dispersed Latent Heat Storage Material

A dispersion system fluid can convect even if the dispersoid is a solid ***,heat exchange performance can be improved while maintaining fluidity using a material with high thermal conductivity as the *** study presents the melting performance evaluation results of a latent heat storage material with a carbon nanotube(CNT)dispersion system with high thermal conductivity,which enhances the thermal conductivity of the latent heat storage material and does not limit free *** the thermal conductivity and enhancing the melting convection of the heat storage material result in increased latent heat storage *** this study,the thermal conductivity of the latent heat storage material was successfully increased by dispersing CNTs in the *** 0.1%(in mass)of multi-wall CNT(MWCNT)was dispersed in a paraffin-based latent heat storage material,the shear stress increased by 1.5 times at a shear rate of 500 s^(-1),while taking into account the potential effects of convective ***,a latent heat storage experiment was conducted in a rectangular heat storage tank using the CNT dispersion composition ratio as a parameter.A rectangular vessel with a heated vertical surface was used for the latent heat storage *** melting speed was determined by comparing the amount of latent heat stored in a CNT-dispersed latent heat storage material and a single-phase latent heat storage material *** experimental results show that the time required for the latent heat storage material to completely melt in the heat storage tank was the shortest for the single-phase latent heat storage material ***,the fastest melting progress was observed for the sample with 0.02%(in mass)MWCNT content in the melting rate range of up to approximately 40%in the *** results indicate that this phenomenon is caused by the difference in the melting rates in the upper part of the *** generated data are useful for det

Objective:The aim of this research was to evaluate the efficiency of reciprocating morcellation for removing giant benign prostatic hyperplasia during holmium laser enucleation of the prostate,investigate whether performing morcellation as a two-stage procedure improves tissue retrieval efficiency,and seek to determine the optimal interval between the two ***:This study included nine cases of holmium laser enucleation of the prostate with an enucleated prostate weight exceeding 200 g,indicative of substantial prostate *** was performed on Day 0(n=4),Day 4(n=1),Day 6(n=1),and Day 7(n=3).The intervals were compared regarding the morcellation efficiency,beach ball presence,and ***:The mean estimated prostate volume was 383(range 330e528)mL;the median enucleation weight was 252(interquartile range[IQR]222,342)g;and the median enucleation time was 83(IQR 62,100)*** mean morcellation efficiency was 1.44(SD 0.55)g/min on Day 0 and 13.69(SD 2.46)g/min on day *** morcellation efficiency was 4.15 g/min and 10.50 g/min on Day 4 and Day 6,respectively,with significantly higher in the two-stage group compared to one-stage group(11.0 g/min vs.1.5 g/min;p=0.014).Efficiency was strongly correlated with intervals(p<0.001);the incidences of beach balls were 100%(4/4)and 60%(3/5)in the immediate and two-stage surgery groups,***:The efficiency of two-stage morcellation with reciprocating morcellators was highly related to the postoperative interval,with the maximum efficiency reached on Day 7.

Non-invasive potato defects detection has been demanded for sorting and grading *** on the classification of the defects has been available,however,investigation on the severity level calculation is *** the detection of the common scab,it has been found that imaging in the infrared region provide an interesting characteristic that could distinguish defected area to normal ***,investigations on this wavelength range is interesting to add more knowledge and for *** this research,the multispectral image has been obtained and investigated especially at three wavelengths(950,1150,1600 nm).Image pre-processing and pseudo-color conversion techniques were explored to enhance the contrast between defects,normal background skin area and soil *** show that external defects,such as common scab and some mechanical damage types,appear brighter in the near infrared region,especially at 1600 nm against the normal skin *** has been found that pseudo-color images conversion provides more information regarding type if surface characteristics compared to grayscale single *** segmentation using pseudo-color images after multiplication operation pre-processing could be used for common scab and mechanical damage detection excluding soil deposits with a Dice Sorensen coefficient of *** addition,image segmentation using single image at 1600 nm shown relatively better results with Dice Sorensen coefficient of 0.72 with note that thick soil deposits will also be *** severity level evaluation had an R2 correlation of 0.84 against standard measurements of severity.

Autism Spectrum Traits in Adults Affect Mental Health Status via Early Maladaptive Schemas

EMSs (early maladaptive schemas) may influence general health status and the development and maintenance of some psychiatric disorders. This study investigated whether early maladaptive schemas act as a mediator in the relationship between autistic traits and general health status in non-clinical adults. A cross-sectional questionnaire-based study was used. The AQ (Autism-Spectrum Quotient), YSQ (Young Schema Questionnaire), and GHQ (General Health Questionnaire) were administered to a non-clinical sample of 342 university students (N = 342,238 women and 112 men; mean age = 21.36 years, SD = 5.17). We found a significant relationship between autism spectrum traits and mental health, completely mediated by EMSs. Thus, higher autism spectrum trait scores predicted higher EMSs scores, which in turn predicted poorer mental health. Early maladaptive schemas appear to account for the mental health problems suffered by adults with autism spectrum traits. There are no additional data available.

Elastic neutron diffraction measurements were performed on single crystals to study the ground state below the mysterious exotic transition temperature 0.86 K. An antiferromagnetic order with a tiny moment of 0.027 μB per formula is formed as the ground state for CeOs4Sb12 below the transition point. Our neutron data gives the evidence of spin density wave state for CeOs4Sb12 in this work.

A lemniscate is a curve defined by two foci,F_(1) and F_(2).If the distance between the focal points of F_(1)−F_(2) is 2a(a:constant),then any point P on the lemniscate curve satisfy the equation PF_(1)·PF_(2)=a^(2).Jacob Bernoulli first described the lemniscate in *** Fagnano discovered the double angle formula of the lemniscate(1718).The Euler extended the Fagnano’s formula to a more general addition theorem(1751).The lemniscate function was subsequently proposed by Gauss around the year *** insights were summarized by Jacobi as the theory of elliptic functions.A leaf function is an extended lemniscate *** formulas of leaf functions have been presented in previous papers;these included the addition theorem of this function and its application to nonlinear *** this paper,the geometrical properties of leaf functions at n=2 and the geometric relation between the angle θ and lemniscate arc length l are presented using the lemniscate *** relationship between the leaf functions sleaf_(2)(l)and cleaf_(2)(l)is derived using the geometrical properties of the lemniscate,similarity of triangles,and the Pythagorean *** the literature,the relation equation for sleaf_(2)(l)and cleaf_(2)(l)(or the lemniscate functions,sl(l)and cl(l))has been derived analytically;however,it is not derived geometrically.
